LOTS OF GOOD STUFF HAPPENING
I thank you so much for all your positive feedback about the “Management Notice” I posted last week. It means a lot to me! I’m delighted to finally be in a space where I can get that data to flow in.
I know I’ve done good work when I myself can read it and see things a different way — and feel like I got something out of it rather than just re-iterating what I already knew.
I’ve been through a lot of healing work to feel clear enough to pull in a good reading like the old days, where things were so much simpler — and I’m very pleased with the results!
The video you are about to see was shot while I was in Hawaii, right before turning around and doing my crop circle tour. The above photograph is one of four incredible formations we got to walk around in during that trip — which was quite an experience!
Since this video is very different than what I usually discuss, I want to set it up a bit before we dive in.
CARE OF THE BODY IS A MAJOR PART OF THE GALACTIC MIND
In the Law of One series, 22 ‘archetypes’ are described in detail. These represent the 22 basic clusters of experience we all have to go through in order to reach a full awakening.
[You can right-click and download a study guide about the archetypes here. And this site has the single best collection of Law of One materials, including all the original sessions and a link to our own Study Guide, which is currently the best overview.]
These 22 archetypes are, if you will, the ‘personality’ of the Logos — which is the mind of the Galaxy as a singular consciousness.
Of these 22 archetypes, fully seven of them are associated with the body. In order to truly awaken, your body must run through a similar series of stages of awakening just like the mind (the first seven) and the spirit, which is the last seven.
One additional archetype represents the origin of the quest for enlightenment — and is known as “the Fool.”
The archetypes of the body come after the mind in this system, meaning that you may not even realize the importance of initiating the body until you’ve already become quite wise — and gathered a great deal of information.
HIGHER EDUCATION
Back in 1996-2000, I pulled in readings from my Higher Self several times a week. It was, for me, a very valuable form of “higher education.”
Even after I started taking clients professionally in July 1998, I still did personal readings for myself routinely. I was consistently guided to help make the best decisions in a variety of situations.
After a while I didn’t really feel I needed to do personal readings anymore, as I still tracked my dreams every morning. I knew that dreams were 100-percent secure data — there was no way my conscious mind could tamper with the data even slightly.
SCREENING OUT CONSCIOUS-MIND INFLUENCE
As any good intuitive knows, it is significantly more difficult to screen out conscious-mind influence when trying to pull in data for yourself than it is when doing work for others, or on topics of general interest.
Anyone who tells you their intuitive readings are 100 percent ‘source’, with not a whisper of conscious mind overlay, is deluding themselves.
I went through extensive coaching on how to recognize when I had influenced the words — and was very strongly admonished to try to master the discipline of non-interference as much as possible.
Even still, doing this work for yourself is extremely difficult. As soon as your mind thinks it understands what is coming in, and / or tries to track the information just out of interest, you’ve broken protocol and are no longer getting good data.
At this point you need to immediately stop speaking or writing, and again try to bring yourself to the deepest possible state of trance you can — even if it takes several minutes to get back there.
Unfortunately, very few people who channel are actually following this protocol. It is extremely, extremely difficult and requires a devoted meditative lifestyle and excellent physical and psychological health.
DREAMS ARE PREFERABLE FOR PERSONAL GUIDANCE
Of course, with dream data you still have to interpret what comes in, but the more you study the language and practice the discipline of documenting them, the more easy it becomes to figure out what they are telling you.
For any important issue in my life, I will make sure I get at least three strong dream ‘pings’ before I consider that I understand the message that is being conveyed.
Even then, dreams are multi-dimensional. I have had cases where I’ve had day after day of dreams — for weeks — and found that although I understood them on one level, there was a deeper theme that I had totally missed, but was repeating every day.
This often happens on the biggest stumbling blocks — the things we consistently have the most significant blind-spots about in our lives.
BE YOUR OWN BIGGEST SKEPTIC
With intuitive readings, you have to go very, very deep to get personal data about yourself that can be trusted.
For me, it often will come in under heavily encrypted sentences, where they are just too complex and metaphorically symbolic to mentally track at such a slow delivery speed.
Even so, you always have to be your own biggest skeptic.
As a humorous example, almost every day we get letters from people telling us their higher self said they are about to enter into a romantic parternship with me.
Another unfortunate but frequent situation is people writing in saying they are guided to start some huge civic organization for the greater good — but it rarely is more than a brief written proposal and a lot of wishful thinking.
You don’t need to do anything grandiose to be on your path — as last week’s reading said, the most important key is to awaken to the compassion and forgiveness of self and others that is always available in the Now.
CERTAIN FACTORS WERE ESSENTIAL
My own intuitive contact might not have even been possible without certain key factors in my life:
1. I was totally free of all mind-altering chemicals since September 1992 — no alcohol, no marijuana, no pharmaceuticals except antibiotics or painkillers in very seldom emergency cases;
2. Since September 1992, I had been writing my dreams down every morning, and working to analyze their meanings;
3. In the struggle to conquer my adult acne, (thankfully never on my face,) I kept increasingly purifying my diet — which by mid-1995 had become no fried food, no white flour, no refined sugar, no dairy, no eggs and no meat;
4. Routinely journaling my life’s experiences in writing, with the intention of understanding why things were happening and what I could do to improve myself (this became a daily practice after the contact started);
5. Reading all five books of the Law of One series, beginning in January 1996, which created the final ‘tuning’ I needed to receive my own communication once these other factors were in place.
The ‘tuning’ is a key element — and in my videos, radio shows and articles, I try to always present information that helps achieve this ‘tuning’ for everyone who encounters it.
The most bombastic ‘haters’ are usually just verbalizing the inner conflict they wrestle with from years of cynicism and distrust of the Universe.
Again… I can truly say that if you do the work on yourself, you too will discover that “It’s all good.”
“THE EXTENT NECESSARY FOR THE HEALTH OF THE PHYSICAL BODY”
In the Law of One series, when Ra was asked about diet, they said (paraphrased,) “and to the extent necessary for the health of the physical body, [you can eat] the animal products.”
Other channeled books I read and enjoyed had suggested this was not the case — but it took me a long time to reflect on it and realize that the Law of One series is by far the most trustworthy source to consult on this issue.
Of course, notice the careful wording of the quote. Some people may not need animal products for a healthy body — but I think this is rare, and in my case I found out that I definitely did.
When I moved in with the founders of the Law of One series in 2003, I dropped my strict dietary ban on animal products. I already had started blending fish in occasionally by the time I had arrived, and was surprised at how much better I felt for 3-4 days after having some.
At L/L Research, I was encouraged to be part of the group and therefore eat what everyone else was eating. I still avoided dairy, eggs, white flour, refined sugar and conventionally-grown produce, but I did re-introduce animal products to my diet.
I mentioned this at the time on my website, but didn’t really obsess on it once I had made the change.
THE ‘ETHICAL MEAT DIET’
I do strongly believe in the value of a great diet, and particularly with the knowledge we now have about Activator X (as discussed in my section of the Pete Peterson video with Project Camelot), it seems that having some degree of animal products in your diet is absolutely essential to optimum health.
Since many people have asked me this, I do now have ‘ethical meat’ in my diet. The key is to avoid factory farming and cruelty as much as possible, as the sorrow these factory animals go through affects your own level of spiritual evolution — negatively.
[As someone pointed out in the comments section, you may live in a developing country and not have any choice. In this case, if you choose to eat meat, you can help the ‘vibration’ by blessing your food and thanking the animal for its gift to you, as should ideally be done in all cases.]
At present I have been guided to avoid beef altogether, even allegedly organic beef, but have bison products as a substitute, since there are very strict ethics codes for bison ranchers and they are 100-percent free range.
Pork is always a no-no. Most chicken, turkey and duck is out, even that which is allegedly free-range, unless you can find something from a small local cooperative.
Ostrich, elk and most other wild game is fine. All fish is fine, but wild caught is significantly preferable to farm raised, and sushi is preferable to cooked. Shellfish is not ideal due to potential mercury issues, but it is on the ‘ethical’ list and I do have it sometimes.
[The above comments have unleashed a firestorm of passionate responses in the comments section — so I will address them more in an update below.]
YOU DON’T NEED TO BE EXTREME
Admittedly, the ‘raw food’ diet David Wolfe advocates is about as extreme as you can get. No animal products and nothing that’s even been heated above 105-110 degrees.
While this kind of diet can be highly beneficial for your health as a cleanse and detox, I wouldn’t want to present it as if you ‘must’ eat this way.
In fact, I once had a professional dentist as a client who told me he was treating a variety of people on the raw food diet. After a few years of raw-only dieting, they all started experiencing periodontal decay — even with excellent dental hygiene.
His conclusion was that there are elements in animal products that we all need for our health — perhaps bone health in particular.
I am just presenting this as his opinion, but those words have stayed with me over the years.
With that in mind, let’s go ahead and watch the new video!
UFO X FEST… AND EPIC EDEN HOT SPRINGS TRIP!
This weekend I’m at the UFO X Fest in the California Bay Area, September 18-19! My big post-conference event is on Monday the 20th, and you can order your tickets at this link right here!
Next month I’m at the Epic Eden Hot Springs Retreat, October 6th through 10th, in a sacred, private location nestled between Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona.
David Wolfe often shows up, and it’s quite an experience! This next video, while a bit long, is a great overview of the community and the vibes you’ll get there!
I will be doing a Power Point lecture and hanging out with people at the event — so it’s a great way to be part of a spiritually aware gathering in a camping-style setting!
LOTS MORE ON THE HORIZON
I still am deeply involved in working on some wonderful new developments that I cannot discuss due to strict non-disclosure agreements, for which there is no wiggle room — but the news will be awesome once I can announce it!
I also am deeply involved in fine-tuning the CONVERGENCE movie script with my latest, greatest scientific insights, while simultaneously working through rewrite notes for the 2012 Enigma book — so there is quite a lot to do right now.
Amidst all of this, I’m still maintaining a once-a-month conference schedule.
On November 19-21, I’m back in Phoenix for an all-weekend extravaganza with William Henry, as you see featured on every page of this website right now!
I always take December off and have nothing booked for January, but we’re planning on Miami in February, and also developing one or more events in Australia in March.
I also will be speaking at the Conscious Life Expo here in Los Angeles in February as well!
WANDERER AWAKENING
I feel very blessed to have built a whole musical around the spiritual awakening I was led through by the Law of One series and my own personal readings, called “Wanderer Awakening.”
If you don’t feel like reading anything but still want to experience the core of what the Law of One spiritual teachings tell us, this musical has it all packed in there — very eloquently.
This musical goes through all the highest highs and the lowest lows of the spiritual journey, with a focus on romantic relationships — and is structured based on the same storytelling principles as a film screenplay.
The songs were co-produced with my partner, nine-time Grammy-winning musician and composer Larry Seyer, who has engineered the finished-product studio tracks for many top recording artists, some of whom went multi-platinum — and at our last conference he said he feels this is the finest musical work he’s ever done.
We have now released Wanderer Awakening Select, a shortened collection of 17 vocal songs from the collection, for 17.99, so you can find out for yourself what so many people have already discovered — this project has exceptional production value and may well become a beloved part of your favorite music playlists!
To get the full story with all fifty songs, you can buy Wanderer Awakening Gold at 39.99 — and other packages offer even more music, including the Galactic version which also features a complete remix of the collection as an acoustic ‘Unplugged’ exploration.
This is a completely self-financed and self-distributed project, so one hundred percent of your investment goes towards helping insure we can continue providing you lots of great free stuff.
UPDATE NEXT DAY: LET’S TALK ABOUT THIS
It’s kind of cool to be vigorously attacked about something besides politics for a change. Quite a refreshing change of pace, in fact.
Obama is over there, and now we’re over here. I’ve managed to completely enrage an entirely new category of people this time. That means we have a teach/learning opportunity coming on here…
Like the political crew, I already know these opinions are very likely not going to change — so I am writing this for those who have not yet formed a hard-and-fast viewpoint on the topic.
I can be OK with you being vegan, vegetarian, raw or whatever. Last night I had a full meal at Juliano’s Planet Raw restaurant on 6th and Broadway in Santa Monica, including a lovely “tortilla soup” that was on special. And I still often order vegan cuisine at various restaurants as well.
My ultimate point is that we can choose to live our lives how we want to, without making other people ‘bad’ if they choose a different path.
So let’s talk about this!
QUICK TO DELIVER THE ‘L.R.M.’
When I quit smoking marijuana, for about the first two years or so, I was a passionate anti-drug crusader. I wouldn’t hang out with anyone unless they hardly ever, if ever, used any mind-altering chemicals.
Anyone who signaled to me that they were not “on the Path” got an LRM — a Long Rambling Monologue — about the evils of chemical dependency, replete with all my scientific evidence.
This mindset was distinctly the result of having done a “90 and 90” — 90 meetings in 90 days — within Alcoholics Anonymous and, to a lesser degree, Narcotics Anonymous.
After 90 days, I no longer had any interest in ‘using’ — nor did I have any interest in going to meetings. I had quit cold turkey and never went back to the habit — and still haven’t — after 18 years.
“DRUNKS ONLY”
Though most of the people in these ‘rooms’ are just trying to stay clean, within the meetings I frequented, there was a clear, obvious and consistent undertone of judgment and condemnation of others.
In a way, you could liken it to an indoctrination — born of the deep desire of the members to improve their lives by fighting against extremely powerful desires to ‘use’ that they still had within themselves.
They assumed, by extension, that everyone else had to be as compulsively prone to addiction as they were. No one could ‘use’ at all without becoming hopelessly lost.
In order to be correct, I had to introduce myself as an ‘alcoholic’, even though I never even enjoyed getting drunk. One of the meetings I went to would have a handwritten sign on the door that said “DRUNKS ONLY”.
NOT A LOT OF GOOD MATERIAL
One of the things that finally got me to leave was I had to strain my mind to the limit to try to remember stories where I actually did drink alcohol — and did something foolish or harmful to myself or others.
I probably never drank any significant amount of alcohol more than about 20 times at the most.
There was the time I drank a vodka-and-orange-juice ‘screwdriver’ and my friend accidentally kicked me in the head as I was crawling around on all fours because I couldn’t stand up straight.
There was the night this guy threatened me at a party, almost stuck a lit cigarette into my eye, and I pummeled him in a fistfight before they dragged me off of him. [We later talked it out and he respected me for standing up to him and “beating his ass.”]
There was the dreaded college ‘fondue party’ where I drank too many wine coolers, ate way too much cheese and chocolate, and ended up vomiting on all fours when I got back to the suite. All my hard-drinking New York City suitemates gathered around me laughing and mocking — while I was as sick as I had ever been in my life.
One time I drank a lot of beer at a high school party, and started making a sloppy pass at a cute girl. An experienced drinker and football star gently convinced me to lie down on the couch. When I opened my eyes, everyone was gone and it was 2AM. My buddy immediately handed me another giant plastic cup of beer from the keg.
At that same party, I dropped my pants straight to my ankles while standing up and peeing, and leaned against the wall for support. Of course when this popular guy I was friends with waltzed in and saw that, it was great fodder for graduation-party stories — I had “passed out up against a wall with my pants down.”
THE “FIVE-FINGER DISCOUNT”
Probably the dumbest, most negative thing I ever did to “support the habit” was steal a pack of Marlboro Red cigarettes from an Adirondack country grocery store when I was ‘dry’, and didn’t have any marijuana left.
Yeah. I know. Big whoop. But that was the worst story I had!
There was a big rotating cylinder filled with loose packs of cigarettes right out in the open, in the middle of a secluded aisle.
I was 16, too young to buy them legally, and was dreading spending the whole week at my grandparents’ camp without having anything to alter my consciousness in the event that things got confrontational or emotionally rough.
My grandparents did have booze in the house, but I would get so sick from any attempt to drink the hard stuff — or even the lighter stuff if I wasn’t careful — that I had absolutely no interest in it.
I never even smoked the Marbs, since I hated cigarettes, was terrified of getting caught, and felt obscenely guilty about shoplifting.
A LITTLE ‘CREATIVE LICENSE’ MIGHT HELP THINGS…
By AA standards, my two-dollar petty crime was a very weak story. I wasn’t even ‘on’ anything when I did it.
I hadn’t cheated on a wife, taken advantage of a drunk girl, run out on a pregnancy, yelled at or struck a kid, woken up covered in vomit on the side of a road, totaled a car, broken a bone, smashed up my body, disappeared for days at a time on a bender, lost a job, or even converted needed family food money into booze.
However, if I had raided my grandparents’ liquor cabinet… particularly for something gross like Vermouth or Peppermint Schnapps… then at least my Adirondack story would have had some ‘bite’. In turn, people would have liked me more — and given me more support and positive feedback.
So, once everyone had heard the head-kicking, fistfight, fondue, blackout and standing-up stories, it got to the point that I began flirting with the idea of embellishing the Adirondack story — or even concocting one out of thin air.
I realized this was not the place for me. I had nothing left to process and no desire to ever use again. In support-group parlance, that only meant I was a Dry Drunk.
PEOPLE, PLACES AND THINGS
To put it bluntly, there was a pervasive mindset that anyone who was not in the ‘rooms’ was in deep, deep trouble.
They were deluding themselves, spiritually bankrupt and needed to immediately change their ways if they wanted to have any chance at soul evolution.
This philosophy is an extension of what they call “People, Places and Things”. In order to stay clean, you are advised to completely avoid the “people, places and things” that are, in any way, associated with your chemical dependency.
This can very easily and quickly extend into a mindset where the entire world now becomes your ‘devil’.
Only those who are totally sober, within the very rooms you frequent, have any chance at redemption.
Your group is now the elect, the special, the different, the ‘chosen’.
Each of you have been self-appointed by your personal ambition and ability to actually stay clean — or at least heavily shame yourselves in front of the others after every new ‘relapse’, in the 12-step-group version of ‘Confession.’
THE ‘TWELFTH STEP’
You, as a Member, have been strong enough to awaken from the ‘Matrix’ (though this film wasn’t out back then) and become one of the Good People.
Everyone else is an outsider, engaged in a mass hallucination. They are walking zombies whose lives are being run by chemicals rather than by the heart.
They do not have a Spiritual Path — which by definition means the person got sober first, before ever even having any idea about spirituality.
Everyone else is invariably going to “Hit Bottom” and have their lives end in “Diseases, Institutions and Death” if they don’t Join the Program — and begin Working the Steps.
The “Twelfth Step” is where you try convince the outsiders (i.e. everyone else in the world) to join the group.
If they are not already in the group, then they are in Denial.
The power of The Addiction is so vast that unless you’re in the Program, you are Active — and therefore another mindless robot within the worldwide Devil the group is wrestling against.
SURRENDER TO ‘THE ROOMS’
Within this system, your only chance to break through Denial is to “admit that you are powerless over” alcohol and / or drugs, and start going to meetings. This means you have now “surrendered to your Higher Power”.
Many people in ‘the Program’ do not have a clear concept of any intelligent, organizing element in the Universe — and this leads to them worshipping ‘the rooms’ as if it were their higher power.
Many times I heard people say, “the only Higher Power I know is these rooms… The rooms have changed my life… Without these rooms I would be lost.”
The vast majority of every meeting involves ‘sharing’, where members can take as long as they want to talk about basically whatever they want, as long as it focuses on the addiction in some way.
Many people’s ‘sharing’ invariably features lamentations about how terribly deluded everyone is if they are Not In the Program.
I LEFT — BUT SOME OF THE PHILOSOPHY STAYED WITH ME
Again, I stopped going after 90 days. I had no further desire to ‘use’ and I was starting to wish I had better drinking stories to share with The Rooms.
When I realized I was becoming tempted to make things up, or embellish existing stories to add ‘sizzle’ — I’ve always had a passion for creative writing and theatrics — I saw this was not where I needed to be.
I also felt that any successful treatment plan should not cultivate an ongoing dependency on something else — in this case The Rooms.
Furthermore, it seemed like almost everyone in ‘the rooms’ was heavily addicted to caffeine (the invariable three-gallon coffeepot) and refined sugar (the inevitable donuts and cookies) — and a substantial number of them couldn’t even make it through a whole meeting without a smoking break.
I found myself consistently coaching people on the scientific proof that there was, indeed, a Higher Power — and as a psych major, I could see there was a significant OCD everyone had about Being In The Program.
Nonetheless, I did still feel that if someone was actively using marijuana, alcohol or other drugs, they were creating grievous chemical imbalances that affected how their mind would function — and I felt compelled to let them know my opinion.
ALL THE EVIDENCE
I had all my evidence right on hand. The use of mind-altering chemicals ultimately bankrupts your ability to ever feel happy because you deplete your serotonin and endorphins — and without them you are biologically incapable of feeling positive emotions for any sustained length of time.
Even use in moderation, sporadically, will create a distinctly measurable reduction in your ability to feel good about your life and the things that happen to you.
That’s also why they recommend a 90 and 90 for 12-step groups. It’s going to take you three months before you will feel any type of sustainable happiness, because you’re just too serotonin-starved to have those emotions.
I was ready and willing to preach to someone about this even if all they did is make an offhand comment about ‘weed’. As a result, I became socially isolated from many thinking and feeling people.
In time, I was guided through a series of experiences that taught me not to criticize and judge others for their behavior and their choices.
When I then extended into a vegan diet, I became just as passionate about that issue.
REALLY GOT INTO IT
In order to be a vegan for seven years, I had to endure all manner of humiliating experiences.
My grandparents got on my case every single time I had dinner with them about why I was ‘not eating’.
I did all the research, talked to naturopaths, nutritionists and what have you, followed all the best guidelines to a tee, and tried to optimize my diet as much as possible.
My housemate and I would heckle and debase each other if either of us contemplated going off the diet — as it takes a lot of structure and discipline to maintain a practice like this.
I had a canvas wallet, non-leather shoes, and never touched animal products of any kind.
I was constantly weak — to the point that I could barely stand up at work for long periods of time. I had a private meeting with my supervisor where he accused me of being an anorexic and wanted me to use a company-paid counseling program.
I actually had people tell me the circles under my eyes were so dark, my skin so pale and my face so gaunt, that I looked like I had “just stumbled out of Auschwitz.”
I remember when a woman I worked with at a teen halfway house told me she had been vegetarian and had gone back on meat.
To her face I was polite, but I literally spent days obsessing on it after she told me that.
EVERYONE ELSE IS YOUR DEVIL
As a variety of the comments below will illustrate, some vegans are not into it just for the health benefits. It becomes a passion that runs much deeper than that.
Everyone else who is not part of your insider group is now a Vicious Animal Killer.
The ‘outsiders’ are deluding themselves, spiritually bankrupt and need to immediately change their ways if they want to have any chance at soul evolution.
Only those who are totally “cruelty-free”, within the very groups you frequent, have any chance at redemption.
Your group is now the elect, the special, the different, the ‘chosen’.
Each of you have been self-appointed by your personal ambition and ability to actually go off of animal products.
You have been strong enough to awaken from the ‘Matrix’ (though this film wasn’t out back then) and become one of the Good People.
Everyone else is an outsider, engaged in a mass hallucination. They are walking zombies whose lives are being run by killing animals rather than by the heart.
They do not have a Spiritual Path — which by definition means they stopped eating animals first, before ever even having any idea about spirituality.
If they are not already doing this diet, then they are in Denial.
Unless you are on this diet, you are another mindless robot within the worldwide Devil the group is wrestling against.
LOOK AT THE SCIENCE
What really awakened me from this mindset was the work of Dr. Cleve Backster, who I often cite at my conferences. You can order his book “Primary Perception” and read all the evidence for yourself.
Backster became famous in the 1960s and 70s after discovering that plants had remarkably human-like variations in their electrical activity, moment to moment.
This variation is called Galvanic Skin Response, or GSR, and is used to administer lie-detector or ‘polygraph’ tests in humans.
Backster hooked up his polygraph to a plant and was dazzled to find how human-like it was responding.
The biggest shock of his life happened when he got the idea of lighting a match and burning one of the leaves of the plant.
Bear in mind he hadn’t actually done it — he just had decided to do it.
Right then, the plant had an enormous reaction, with the stylus fluctuating so extremely that it was actually hitting the stops that kept it from flying right off the paper.
Were this a human being, you would literally be seeing them screaming and crying, churning in their chair, drenched in sweat — or at the very least hyperventilating and sweating, with their hearts pounding and a feeling of being light-headed and highly agitated.
He then actually did burn the leaf, and the ‘screaming’ continued. It did not stop until he actually removed the matches from the room and left the plant alone.
EVERYTHING DOES THIS
As you can read in the Primary Perception book, from primaryperception.com, every living thing is part of this ‘family’, and they all look out for each other.
Backster hooked up one egg to his polygraph and then boiled other eggs. The electroded egg invariably ‘screamed’ as each of the others were dropped into the water.
Plants even ‘scream’ when bacteria die, such as in yogurt — and if you want to be healthy, everyone knows you have to take ‘probiotics,’ which actively are killing millions of microbes in your own body in the process.
Bacteria scream at the loss of other bacteria. They scream when plants are burned. They even screamed when Backster planned to crack an egg — but he hadn’t actually done it yet.
In one case, an African violet screamed when Backster picked up Sammy, his sleeping Siamese cat, and startled him.
In another case, plants always screamed when a particular man came into the lab. It turned out he had a job as a lawnmower — so to the plants he was a Mass Murderer.
These are things that strongly affected how I think.
EACH PERSON IS DIFFERENT
If I could get by on a meatless diet, I would. In many people’s eyes this is the optimum spiritual path you can take through diet.
Again, in my case it was very simple — I was so weak without it that I seemed to be in real danger. Even one piece of fish would buy me about four days of energy and vitality.
Some people’s systems react in other ways — and do not digest meat easily, if at all. Furthermore, once you’ve been on a vegan diet for a long time, you have much less intestinal probiotics in your system, and therefore are not equipped to digest other types of food — you will actually feel sick from it unless you take HCL and / or enzyme supplements.
There are great comments below where different people present their opinions on this obviously charged issue.
Again — if you can be healthy as a vegan, that’s probably the best spiritual path you can take. I would definitely do it if my body could tolerate it, as I could probably accelerate my spiritual abilities even more.
I had to choose a lifestyle that allowed me to have the health and vitality to do my work for the planet. That was the initial hurdle I crossed.
Then when I found out about Backster’s discoveries, I realized that life and death are part of a symbiosis, and without death there could be no life.
I therefore “vote with my wallet” for the more ethical approach — doing my own part to help change the way things are done here on Earth.
KEEP COMING BACK
There is lots more to come in the future, so keep coming back!
As my schedule clears I do want to cover the many interesting things that are going on right now — and I hope to be able to do that in the coming weeks.
Right for now, may you indeed have the best day ever!
Davids got Rabbit ears! (the two leaves of the plant behind/on top of his head)
“follow the white rabbit” 😉 lol
Blessings and guidance 🙂
I want to give thanks for the video. There were many very particular things said that were very “synchronistic” 😛 for me.
I feel more inspired into certain directions. Thank You
Hi everyone—( which friendly greeting encompasses breatharians through ethical cannibals ):-)
A note to Meg: Meg, I have no idea how to PM (private message) you for information on a bio-available plant source of B-12 …I checked the forum and there is no less than 7 Megs!
If you would please go to the forum and PM one billybobbutterball it would be appreciated.
As for myself I augment by using methylcobalamin…which is probably derived from bacterial sources.
Some other oddities:
I understand that the 12 step program resulted from a reading requested of Edgar Cayce…which considering David’s later experience with the 12 steppers has a certain irony of Karmic twisting. Seems that RA works in mysterious ways.
Another one. For those who assume that merely eliminating animal farming would save much more sentient life may not understand the BIG picture.
‘Onething’ touched on this in an earlier posting…
Anyone interested in the food question should investigate this book review:
http://www.proteinpower.com/drmike/lipid-hypothesis/the-vegetarian-myth/
This represents the research done by one who was a dedicated, whole heart, vegetarian (Vegan?) for some twenty years. A must read.
It is virtually undeniable that the toll on flora and fauna accompanying the hijacking of land to accommodate a society based on agriculture — as practiced — amounts to the brutal rape of nature.
Yes. Our food supply comes tainted with brutality whether sourced in plant or animal.
About David’s recommendation of Sushi. I recently watched an expose of fish farming. It concerned in particular the Mekong Delta…arguably the most contaminated river in the world…besides being one of the largest suppliers of fish to the USA.
The Delta is in actuality a huge sewer as thousands of primitive dwellings overreach the banks to better accommodate their sewage disposal needs. Not good, as some sages have pointed out that “One is not what one eats but rather what the ‘food’ had eaten.)
One last comment. The idea that things ‘dieing being of utmost concern in our appreciation of reality seems misplaced to me in that it unduly exalts the TRANSITORY 3rd dimensional reality.
The third density is NOT one of understanding!
In fact is we are informed that one cannot move into the 4th without understanding that fact.
True, our stomachs may be the graveyard of entities eaten and their shadows follow us. BUT to disengage from that the clutch of Karma is to FORGIVE…and that means both others and OURSELVES!
Interestingly enough there was a reading from
LL Research about the question of hunting…seems there is a little understood payback in that the deer “victim” in its encounter with a higher density hunter received the gift of “individuation”.
This means that the prey is lifted from being part of the deer group soul and is sent on its way along the path to the one creator…Some millions of our years in the future the hunter may be named Ra who mentors the ascending Bambi’s mother.
Thanks for reading…of course what doesn’t resonate, dump.

😀 Great David, wonderful to see you guys in your 3 different energies and masculinity, enjoyed that!
I agree tremendously and passionately on the value of good food and vital food. No strict rules, but quality in how it’s cultivated/grown, harvested and how it’s prepared and enjoyed as meals.
In my experience love for oneself by eating good nurturing food is a tremendous boost to the immune system.
Consciously eating and being grateful for farmer, cook, food and a decorated table, makes all the difference.
I am a healthfoodconsultant and my mission is to awaken those qualities in people. A basic joy of food and eating. The Slow Food organisation that started in Italy is a great foundation of that too.
The man that took this initiative is Carlo Petrini and he wrote a book titled Slow Food Nation. The website is (in the US)
www.slowfoodusa.org
I am very happy with this subject, David!
My heart is with you!
We choose what we eat depending on our spiritual level (fear level). My clients who released their fear and reached “I AM” state (*Zero state), which they feel themselves as “Love”, stop eating meat very naturally without being taught.
Their body and mind cannot accept the energy level of animal dead body. As far as people has “Fear”, or are not “I AM (Zero)” state, still it is OK to eat meat.
*Zero state: There is no difference between good and bad, or between negative and positive in the state.
Just wondering how many people here, kill, skin, gut, and bleed out these animals that are claimed to be necessary for your life?
Im sure most meat posters will say ‘of course i do it all myself, no problem, there’s no difference between doing that and cutting up some lettuce”. Really? Okay..
For those that pay someone else to do it, would you have the stomach for it -could you do it yourself? have you considered what’s involved?
Have you ever watched whats involved to do it? Or do you, like the rest of the herd, pay someone else to do it for you because, well why just convenience right??? really? are you sure??
what if our society was set up that you had to do every step yourself? okay.. So i have a 5yr old neice that don’t understand why people want to hurt animals or eat them.
anytime i put an animal in front of her (at home, or the zoo, etc) she wants to hug them or pet them not eat them, and although she is aware that some people like to eat animals as her granddad does, she has never associated an animal with food and is often confused and sad that people hurt them.
In my own family who were predominantly eating meat, not one member could do this when they caught fish to eat them. My dad had to and he would often feel quite sick doing it, and sometimes skipped dinner.
When i asked why he did it if he didn’t like it, he explained that we had no choice. Yet we did, but he just didn’t have that choice in his list of possiblilities.
Maybe its inherent in humans not to want to kill others but we get conditioned to believe that we must, because everyone else does, and then through corporate monetary influence we get diet guidelines made via government to tell people what to eat and that if they don’t then they will be sick and weak (stereotypes)
and if a person dares to become veg and fails then they do not have to take any responsibilities for their food choices during that time so they can blame the diet and not take ownership in their choices
(so eating french fries and pop is vegan, yet they one could get quite tired, weak, sick and therefore conclude – it’s the vegan diet! it doesn’t work!)
isn’t that kind of like meeting someone from a foreign country that you have never met before that may not look or speak like you and you have an unpleasant experience with them so therefore conclude –
“it’s those people! im normal they’re not, they are all bad, evil, etc!” That’s a huge stereotype and it is evident here in David’s opinion that included a negative judgement based on his own experience out of all the humans in the world and evident in some of the meat posters.
It is easy to find reasons to blame your environment and others for things that didn’t work out for you when you have a closed mind. But the first time i tried to learn how to skate, i fell, i failed but certainly didn’t blame the ice or, the skates or my instructor, but i kept an open mind and learned how to do it so that it became easy and enjoyable.
Just some things to ponder. Thanks for listening!
Hi David,
Thanks for the great video. What I constantly get out of your messages is that you’ve meditated and gone directly to God for your answers, and you’ve gotten the direction and guidance you require to make a decision about how you want to live your life.
I feel you encouraging us all to go direct to God to get our answers and I feel that is a great message. Thanks!
Tino
Blessings,
I love your comment.Makes sense to me.Thanks. 🙂
It is significant that Eastern teachers, such as the Chan (Zen) master mentioned below, are virtually unanimous on the need for a vegetarian diet.
Many of them do say that the karma of eating meat is to be reborn as an animal who will be raised and killed for food. It is self-evident that we are all free to make our own choices, but not all choices are equal in terms of the suffering they cause or the karma they incur.
Since these wisdom traditions in Hinduism, Buddhism and Taoism have endured and have tried and true methods for liberation, I think it is wise to heed their teachings on the importance of avoiding killing and avoiding the food that comes from killing.
In the Surangama Sutra the Buddha praises those who avoid all animal products for both food and clothing. He says that these people will become liberated.
Regarding the Dalai Lama returning to a non-veg diet, this has damaged his reputation and credibility enormously.
Please read Open Letter to the Dalai Lama by Norm Phelps for one letter which expressed the disappointment many people feel in the Dalai Lama http://www.all-creatures.org/letters/20070615-np.html
Hey David,
As always, thanks for all you do. On the subject of diet I think you missed the most important quote from the Law of One (which appears directly before the “to the extent necessary, the animal products” quote you used).
Questioner: In dietary matters, what would be the foods that one would include and what would be the foods that one would exclude in a general way for the most, or the greatest care of one’s bodily complex?
Ra: I am Ra. Firstly, we underline and emphasize that this information is not to be understood literally but as a link or psychological nudge for the body and the mind and spirit. Thus it is the care and respect for the self that is the true thing of importance.
I hope the people who read what you wrote also read this. Dave, you saying “that having some degree of animal products in your diet is absolutely essential to optimum health” is just as dangerous as any statement that doesn’t allow for each person to make their choice about the best way to care for themselves.
Be easy man, it feels like you are trying to defend yourself for some reason but at the same time ostracizing others in that defense.
As far as I am concerned you could smoke meth and eat sausages out of dumpsters and I would still read and listen to your work. I love you David. And I am so happy that you are free.
peace
David – great article as usual.
Just a quick note is that I always found (Mahatma) Gandhi to be very wise and a very spiritual man in the true sense of the word. He was a vegetarian practically all his life (and for a large time a fruitarian – which I guess is the same as a raw foodie).
After reading his autobiography he had the following snippets of information I’d like to share which does emphasis your point with respect to adding animal products to your diet:
-He found by far the most nutritious food to be milk, of course in his day it was raw, pure milk. (Its my understanding these days that it is very hard to come by the real stuff – it is normally full of chemicals, animal waste, pasteurization also kills good bacteria as well as bad etc. In fact in the UK and other countries children in primary schools are given free milk (with lots of chemicals by the government – you think they have their best interests at heart? The chemicals are added to dumb down the brain).
In contrast:
-He did try meat (beef) once in his life when he was a teenager – as he was persuaded by a friend (they noticed that people eating meat were much bigger/bulkier and generally taller) and were very curious. He said he regretted it for the rest of his life.
-He believed that a man becomes what he eats, and that spiritual progress demands that we cease to kill our fellow creatures to satisfy our bodily wants.
By controlling our thoughts / brain we can really control our cravings. Fasting played a great role in his life, and it is one of the best healthy / detoxing things you can do for your body.
Seems many are very passionate about which type of living being others feed on for their sustinace.
I think its important to remember to respect other peoples FREE-WILL to eat what they choose.
You have control over your own eating habbits, but practice some ACCEPTANCE of others choices. Trying to have control over others choices is a negative trait. You need convince only the self, by all means shed light on ignorence, but there is a fine line that one should be carefull not to cross.
In truth, there is no right or wrong. All is perfect, the apparent imperfections and bias are in the percievers limited mind.
God bless Morningstar Farms.
I think David is right on with his position vis-a-vis meat. It is ironic that some request empirical proof of plants being sentient or having emotional reactions when frequenting a site operated by an intuitive person.
Intuition, the yin to the empirical yang. If everyone here required verification of everything that David states, then there is no point in visiting.
Harvesting live plants is no more ethical than reverently hunting a deer or slaughtering a pig (neither of which I have personally done).
Were the indigenous peoples with their great wisdom and prophecy immoral for the buffalo hunt which resulted in a buffalo dying slowly from numerous cuts? No, reverent and responsible consumption of meat is completely compatible with high spiritual development.
I would question the motives of those who take such an accusatory tone with respect to the issue.
Hi David,
Great work as usual.
Just a quick comment is that (Mahatma) Gandhi was a very famous vegetarian he was also a fruitarian for awhile – in his time it is the same as being a raw foodie.
He ate meat (beef) only once in his life, as a teenager he was persuaded by a friend to take it – because they were interested to find that people that ate meat did get bigger / bulkier and taller, which they wanted to be. Gandhi regretted it all his life.
He often did ‘fasts’ – which is one of the best things you can do for keeping your body healthy – which shows you that by substaining from food your body heals itself.
He taught people that eating was all about training your mind.
Another interesting part which relates to what you are saying about animal products in your diet is that in Gandhi’s experience he found nothing more nutricious than milk (i guess in his day this was pure raw milk).
As with all activities on Earth including eating, I think we might be being asked to accept all conditions as well as the chosen paths of all. A big lesson here, IMO. Mark
What I got from David’s post basically is that we really shouldn’t judge each other.
Also I seem to remember reading a story once about someone who through meditation connected with the grass they were walking on.
The grass was in joy and bliss because the person was feeling the love of the person walking on it. It wasn’t in pain from being crushed.
Why we assume that all plants and animals (and yes I agree that many animals do) have the same reactions and feelings that we as humans do to the same stimuli I don’t know.
A spike in a graph perhaps could just as easilly be profound joy as it could be fear.
I remember reading the book adrift where the author is adrift for 76 days or so in a lifeboat. One of the most profound parts of the book is near the end of his time being adrift and he is close to death.
Some flying fish basically jumped onto his boat of their own free will to provide him with food and that saved his life.
David – great post as always
Alex – Also, a great post. As you mentioned, we shouldn’t assume that the vegan path is the right path. Who knows what the right way to eat is. Yes, animal cruelty is a bad thing and should be stopped. However, I know I will never be able to go on a vegan diet.
Like David mentioned, my body just couldn’t handle that. Also, my local supermarkets don’t carry all the foods that are mentioned in the latest video. I have to eat what’s available to me, like most people in this world. I also have to eat what’s affordable.
I’d like to point at that humans aren’t the only carnivores on this planet. There are all sorts of mammals, reptiles, birds fish, and insects that eat meat. Meat eating is a way of life on this planet. The difference is that humans farm their own food and all the other species out there have to hunt for their meal.
I don’t see what the difference is between a human eating a chicken and a lion eating a Zebra. It’s the circle of life. If the Lion knew how to farm Zebras they would. Human’s aren’t even the only species that farm their food. Various species of ants do the same thing we do.
Besides the fact that I don’t see what is wrong with eating meat.. I will also say this… (and the vegans are really going to hate me for saying this but I don’t care)… I LOVE MEAT. I love to cook.. I love to eat.. and there’s nothing better to eat in mind than meat… steak, chicken, fish.. whatever.
I’ll eat anything that walks, runs swims or buries a hole in the ground. You can keep dessert.. I’ll have another hamburger instead of cake. Do you really think the sugar in that non dairy cake you’re eating is s better for your mind and soul than the meat I’m eating? I don’t think so.
So why do I bring the fact the I love meat Simple… these are the things that make me happy. I even used the work love in that sentence.
Hanging around the house on a Sunday afternoon cooking a pot sauce while watching the football game … that’s a great day for me. Getting together with family in the summer while bbq’ing in the back yard… another great time.
What am I suppose to do, give all that up? Go around telling everyone else they are wrong? Sit at the dinner table eating carrots while I watch everyone else eating their chicken parm dinner.. pretending like I don’t want it.
Why? For what? What’s the pay off? I’m already in touch with my spiritual side… I do not fear death.. and I have a very happy peaceful life. I have a great family, great girl friend, great friends and a great job. I am truly blessed. How is not eating meat going to make my life better?
It’s already pretty great. I think not eating meat would make me a very angry person… very negative.. like many of you who have commented so far.
So anyway… I believe our purpose on this planet it to live, learn and love. I say do what makes you happy…. and like David said, don’t judge others. If being a vegan makes you happy go for it. Being a meat eater is what works for me. I don’t go around yelling at vegan’s trying to get them back on the meat band wagon.
Negative comments and negative thoughts are just adding more negativity to an already negative world. Let’s focus on the good and not what we think wrong.
Many interesting points of view.
I watched a program recently about people that live in the arctic circle and have done for centuries. It’s a place of no vegetation so people eat the only thing available. Animals and fish.
The meat issue is one that I have struggled with over the years. I have eaten very little since I was a teenager or have been vegetarian or vegan.
Whether I have done veganism right or wrong, I have finally come to the conclusion that occasional grass raised bison, some organic free range chicken and fish works best for me and is about the best I can do. I can’t say I like it at all, but I feel better physically when I do.
Would I agree that others can herd humans in some way so that we can be harvested for food or vibrational output? Probably not — and perhaps it’s hypocritical.
Yes, plants and animals are as sentient as we are. However, all sentient animals kill and eat other sentient animals and plants. And we will all keep killing eating something…until a vibrational shift or other things change occur on the planet and we no longer do.
Perhaps it’s a decision we all have to make (and perhaps pay for) ourselves.
“even horizon”, Thanks David
listening to the speech of David with the other two fellows, I want to ask one question, David points out that the Galaxy is spreding an energy that comes from the center of the Galaxy, but, isn`t true that the solar sistem is crossing the galactic ecuator?,
is it possible that the black hole has a tinny dimmension that acts as a disck (wherever you spell that, I`m not a expert on nothing) that could represent the acredition disck of a black hole?. If this is the case, and we are wittnesing the coming of a turning in to a singularity and/ wave-David-Galaxy turn?
Hi dear David,
during several years I was on macrobiotic food only (which is vegan). I loved the food!!!
When I became pregnant with my son Jonathan I detested the taste and the smell of macrobiotic food entirely. I was completely lost, didn’t know what to eat otherwise as I couldn’t quite remember what the alternatives were.
I had to go to the grocer’s and check the food on display to find out what I might find tasty. To top my confusion I even developed a mild craving for “fast food”.
That was eleven years ago. Now I eat whatever appeals to me. It is the attitude towards the food, the gratitude, the appreciation for the plants and animals that give their life to me that makes the difference.
Lots of love from Katie, Cologne
🙂
Life gives us secret after secret.
This video shows the timetraveling David explained us exactly.

Nice plant crown in the video, David.
Have you really never researched how medicinal vaporising cannabis oil is? I personally think it raises your vibration. It has anti-carcinogenic effects and an incredible pain reliever.
You come off as sort of pompous and silly with your straight edge attitude. I can almost hear your tighty whities tighten.
[Moderator: I would take the advice of Don Miguel with your total assumption of what kind of underpants Mr. Wilcock wears : ) ]
Thank you for the update David – and for all the fantastic work you do to enlighten the world – including your film, your book, conferences, videos etc etc!
Your wisdom has helped me so much to accept myself and others ‘as they are’. I no longer ‘preach’ to anyone as I respect their path and their choices – their soul’s sovereignty – as I expect them to do for me. I don’t let my ego go out there judging others…
“Love thy neighbour as thyself – and do unto others as you would have them do unto you”.
So happy to know you will be visiting us here in Australia in March! Be assured of a warm welcome…
With love,
Kathy
This video was fresh David. I really appreciate it.
I do believe the more sensitive and grateful we are to everything, such as the food we eat and the sacrifice from which they came, the more we will grow spiritually and ascend higher states of existence.
Im conscious of these ideas and strive to live in this state of being. I am also very excited about the amazing truths and discoveries that are coming to light in my world.
It is nice to know people like you and many that visit this site are on this same frequency.
Much ♥ , LJ
Hmmm, this ‘meat issue’ usually provokes slightly depressing debate…
Brings to my mind a couple of things;
Firstly, the story of Dr.Temple Grandin, whom anyone who hasn’t heard of, and is interested in this debate should read up about.
Secondly, In Tudor England (at one time, in Canturbury at least) a decree was actually made prohibiting beef from being sold unless the animals (that would be bulls in this case) were first subjected to a public ‘baiting’.
‘Enlightened’ stuff indeed!
I can’t help but wonder how many of the ‘common folk’ of the day would have objected to this either privately or publicly and imagine an hypothetical debate around the issue at the time, which would presumably have hinged heavily upon whether or not these poor beasts even had ‘souls’ (never mind a nervous system!).
Perhaps it was even decided that they in fact ‘needed’ to maintain this practice for their own ‘wellbeing’ or civic order or some such (a little joke there for you folks).
And thirdly, this argument also makes me think of listening to a modern Jewish Rabbi defending the (historical?) practice of animal sacrifice with a retort (to his secular [assimilated?] ‘dissenter’) as to the prevalence of meat eating amongst the general populace today.
Oh, so if everyone is eating meat anyway, it makes it perfectly sensibly an unassailably defensible does it!?. And does that also mean that these Orthodox Hebrews would recommence animal sacrifice if they gained control of the ‘Temple Mount’!?
I personally suspect that veganism/vegetarianism is the ‘way of the future’.
I’m sure that it is absolutely possible for a human organism to exist healthily without ingesting any animal flesh whatsoever.
Obviously we shouldn’t be begging Obama (or any other supreme PR agent) to outlaw the practice of meat-eating (any more than we should be tolerating his finger on any internet ‘kill-switch’), yet my guess is that it is going to be somehow related/relative to our species’ evolution.
Just a thought, no need to choke sir/madame!
On another topic (which doesn’t seem to have generated the same amount of interest here) I’d like to say thanks (to both Davids) for the decalcification information.
I had never heard of ‘The Calcium Bomb’ and have been looking for knowledge along these lines since I learned that fluoride calcifies the pineal gland (SHIT! You are kidding me)!
*The last remaining fluoride free state in Australia recently had fluoride introduced (to the water supply) without any kind of democratic referendum at all (Edward Bernays and Co. would be proud)… the wonders of mass medication!
I’d tentatively suggest that the correction of the corruption of our ‘mystic/visionary’ (and possibly psychic) faculty is of utmost importance (at least as important as peoples ‘right’ or ‘need’ to eat meat) and might just lead to a revolution in the way that many individuals live and think about and debate such issues.
And will anyone need or desire Hollywood fare (even, with respect, such as your own Mr Wilcock) when we have all developed the ability to dream ‘lucidly’ (every bit as vividly/clearly as waking life)!? I sincerely doubt it!
That much I certainly look forward to.
May the universe bless, heal and evolve us all!
ethical meat diet?
i dunno bro, i think it’s wrong to eat flesh..it’s just wrong…this world is twisted
people can do whatever they want, it’s just disapointing to see what humans can and do on this world..
please my brothers and sisters let’s evolve, let’s juts love each other..no killing of anything…
protect life, nurture life, spread life..

Different Strokes for different folks. Me, I’m sticking to my lacto-veg diet. Been going strong since 1993. And I still lift weights.
This same sort of firestorm over dietary issues recently erupted on the Renegade Health Show because the author of The Live Food Factor confided that she (Susan Schenk) is no longer vegan.
What nobody seems to realize is that David’s recent incarnations as John Bainbridge and even Edgar Cayce himself hardly set in motion the karmic forces that would make it easy for him to function well as a vegan.
On p. 37 of The Reincarnation of Edgar Cayce we learn that Cayce’s Source gave him “complete dietetic regimens, which he ignored.” On p.478 of the Sidney Kirkpatrick biography of Cayce it says that Cayce “asked for a meal heavy in fried fats and topped it off with a rich dessert and coffee” and afterwards “he proceeded to smoke one cigarette after another.”
Cayce was a Pisces, as is David, and Pisces are known to often have issues with
addictions. Meat is replete with addictive compounds, of course. Also, as a vegetarian and then vegan of many decades I’ve noticed that the people who are most likely to succeed as vegans or at least vegetarians are the ones who stopped eating animal foods out of compassion for animals rather than out of any health concerns.
I think this is because they are reaping the karmic reward for their compassion in the form of their personal biochemistry that allows them to thrive without using animal products.
That is not to say that David lacks compassion — far from it — but like many gifted psychics, such as John Edwards, James Van Praagh, Donna Eden — his genetics apparently don’t support a vegan diet because he didn’t turn his attention to animal welfare in his past lives but did develop his psychic skills.
I would say he is doing splendidly in overcoming many negative propensities left over from Cayce and Bainbridge, and I greatly appreciate his work. Also,I don’t think David really considers himself a guru.
My guru was a vegetarian whose spiritual and psychic attainments were far beyond those that David has claimed. He was a great Ch’an patriarch from China who insisted that his disciples maintain the precept against killing by being vegetarians, and he often said that eating meat could lead to future lives as “food animals.”
He also carried on the tradition of liberating life, that is, buying up animals destined for slaughter and releasing them. Many a bird and turtle was saved a gruesome death because of this Mahayana Buddhist tradition.
Fascinating discussion and interesting feedback and comments. We all have to eventually realize that we judge things based on our subjective values.
Everyone has a unique collection of programs in their consciousness that govern their body and how it processes things. People’s bodies’ needs are variable and always shifting.
While we could ultimately live on light it would be unwise to apply a diet that doesn’t support where you’re at in your development. We’re here on Earth for a range of experiences – and there’s no objective good or bad about it – so people can try whatever diet they wish to and gain whatever experiences they need from that choice.
People who are into spirituality often seek to apply vegan diets because there is a lightness to fresh vegan foods that can support tuning in to non-physical realms. Yet, the body may have difficulty maintaining itself if there is lack of nutritional components that the body isn’t alchemically creating from light or other elements.
Those on light, cleansing type diets would be wise to pay attention to their body and use supplements, superfoods, and if necessary animal foods to help the body build and sustain itself.
Many people can live a long time on vegan diets and be healthy but then at some point start to need increased amounts of certain nutrients again that aren’t abundant in plant foods.
Regarding “plant sentience”, there is a difference between sentience http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sentience and sapience http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sapience
There is also something called the Sentience Quotient http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sentience_quotient
According to this scale, plants have a very low sentience quotient compared to mammals and fish. So if one is concerned about causing pain to other lifeforms, veganism is the obvious choice.
However, even if plants were the most sentient life on Earth, veganism would still be the minimum standard of decency. This follows from the fact that it requires from 10 to 15 pounds of plant food to produce one pound of animal flesh.
Animals are very inefficient recyclers of protein and much of what they eat goes to physiological processes required for activities such as breathing, digestion and growth, and to forming non-edible tissues such as fur, horns and bones.
If we eat plant foods we cut out the inefficiency and waste of recycling them through animals. In this way, veganism reduces both animal and plant suffering.
A Third density perspective yields the illusion of continuity. The past flows into the present into the future. We evolve from the lower densities in a continuum which leads from the lower worlds to the higher worlds. We tend to think one earns his way into “higher” levels of being or consciousness. The truth is much more mysterious.
Many of us jump around in time and levels of consciousness for the purpose of our souls journey and unique purpose. There are those among us now who have incarnated at this time to be third density humans in particular. People who from a third density perspective have de-volved or gone backwards spiritually. This is only appearance.
This is only appearance because in truth all is ONE and there is no such thing as higher and lower. This third density planet is an exalted state and it is a great privilege to be in this space at this time. There are those who have come “back” to earth to immerse themselves in the experience of Love/Hate, Light/Dark, Togetherness/Separation, Bliss/Despair. There is no place quite like this for experiencing Duality. Duality is indescribably beautiful.
For many of those who have come “back” it is the mundane that is Holy and feeds their souls needs. I realize the profane does not seem Holy but many of these souls have come precisely to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune.
Not because they are being punished and sent to a lower world to suffer Karma for being bad but rather to become humbled and enlightened in a way that can only be experienced here.
The difficulty for these souls is to stay in the experience. From this perspective staying grounded is the task. Being human is the spiritual goal and living and loving and experiencing consequence in all its Divine Glory is the highest path for these souls.
For these souls most of what we define as spiritual practice is beside the point. The point is to lose themselves in the experience of being human. The problem is how not to come unstuck, how to stay in their body and how to stay in the body with eyes wide open.
The beauty of the third density is that each one of us who is centered in their purpose is constantly supported.
There are those who have opened their eyes and have overcome their fear and now walk as full humans full of compassion and non-judgment who are not striving beyond the moments they are allowed as humans in this time, unafraid of the future or toxins or meat or terrorists or being left behind when the great mother ship comes or Armageddon or……..Death.
Many of these souls are not drawn to religion or spirituality as we think of it. Most aren’t joiners or have any interest in leading others. A rare few have the task of being “public” and experiencing the really outrageous slings and arrows. David is one of these.
I am amazed at his level of humanity. It is only explained by his human love that he has not yet spun off this world. I know he loves this world and its people. He has no agenda other than being here and fulfilling his unique purpose and Hallelujah he is doing it being fully human and experiencing all the Glory and Despair along with the rest of us.
I’m also glad its not me in his shoes. Fortunately there is only one of each of us and my purpose is decidedly different.
Breathing Prana is a wonderful thing when it occurs for those who are so called, Vegan is also an exalted path to follow but to equate either as some sort of necessary step to enlightenment or advanced levels of consciousness is ……well….. presumptuous at best.
As for myself I will eat pretty much what finds it way onto my plate with utter gratitude and continue my belief the third density is an exalted state and will be content with ascension or whatever awaits. This is the best adventure yet.
Celebrate Your Good Fortune, Jodasala
Wow, reading about AA and the 12 Step Program brings to mind the rules and regulations of the Eastern/Western Cults with their isolating, brainwashing, fear ridden and dismpowering agendas. It is scary stuff! Bravo David for taking back your power.
Whatever foods that brings you health, joy and happiness, then keep eating them. I believe in moderation and gratitude of everything I eat.
Thank you David for sharing your mini journey. The only thing constant is change. Sometimes exhausting, but always rewarding.
Much Love and Light to all.
Oh… oh… one last thing now that I finished reading (I have a 3 yr old so it takes time to get through ANYTHING!
I’m so incredibly excited that your planning a trip to Australia! This is pure awesome and I cannot wait! I’ll be spreading the word high and low!
Thankyou for your abundance of information.
I was vegetarian for 10 years until my body collapsed and my naturalpath doctor let me know I had to eat some form of animal protein or I would likely lose my own life.
It was a difficult choice.
I’ve introduced meat products for 4 years and feel much better.
DID YOU KNOW … the Dalai Lama had to add meat to his diet on recommendation of his doctor? It’s not highly publicized, but he did. He was given the choice of not being able to be of service to the world or adding meat and being healthy enough to stay incarnated and be of service.
What if the animals agreed they would support David and the Dalai and You in your quest to be of highest good to all?
What if the animals pre-agreed to contribute in this way?
We grow our own chickens for eggs and meat. We pray and they live happy lives. We give thanks for them every day.
I ask that the chickens that come to our farm are those who are agreeing to incarnate for the purpose of being of service and supporting us in being of highest good to all.
We do feel sadness at their passings and also give great thanks to them for their participation and gifts of supporting our lives. We see them as heroes and great contributors to our lives.
I have also seen inside the corporate meat engine and agree with people who talk about the cruelty.
I truly wish my body could live without animal protein. But my system collapses each time I go without it for even just a week.
Thank you David for this great blog post.
I’ve also tried to find David Wolfe’s information on diet.
All I find is multi-hundred dollar products that talk, talk and preach and high priced chocolate and foods, but I can’t find an actual suggested protocol that’s easy to figure out and follow.
For Blue in China, I totally agree with you and understand what you are saying about being able to afford only “cheaper more commercial” foods.
What if God ate here on earth?
Would God lose all its superpowers if it ate commercial food?
Would all of a sudden God become less “God” if it ate junk food?
That’s laughable. Really.
So the “dark boogie guys” can “trap” God by feeding God junk food?
Really. Let’s think bigger here.
Could it be that it just takes more gratitude and spiritual awareness to direct the body and manifest health regardless of the food intake?
I one had a broken ankle that I healed in 3 hours with focused meditation and intention … while I ate junk food in my diet (not meat, but many vegetarians use commercial food and junk food.)
Also, Abraham-Hicks says the body is a chemical factory that with gratitude, love and intention is able to convert even junk food into perfect food for the body.
While I certainly appreciate all everyone is saying here, I believe it comes to each person making the decision for themselves.
If you eat organic food and worry about the price, then it is the worry that will do more harm than junk food.
If you eat junk food with joy, it is the joy that will do you more good than the food.
Abraham-Hicks says no body feed itself good food and worrisome thoughts and expect health.
Likewise, a body can feed itself less than optimal food and loving thoughts and do well.
Regarding the body; You decided to be in it, so use it as you will. Drive fast, have fun and crash or be fairly sensible, get good mileage and enjoy the ride.
Or, treat your body like some odd people treat their cars, by waxing it every weekend and keeping the bodywork spotless until it goes to the scrapheap too. Life is too funny!
As far as the Moderator comment about the reptilians feasting being over the top or exaggerated (not the exact words used)… this is an illusion.
All of life is HOLOGRAPHIC, so if one part kills another… this travels through all levels below the zero point energy dimension (total unity), meaning more bactirial disease (we’re not talking healthy simbiotic bacteria like the below person mentioned [those bacteria dont kill us man… they help us.]), more viral dis-ease, more beings killing beings they THINK are lower, and more beings killing beings they think are equal or better.
The chain doesnt stop until ALL stop. Does this mean I go around demonizing thosae who eat meat. OF COURSE NOT! Bless ALL degrees of the path. They give us mirrors to see where we are in the big picture, or where we need to do more harmonizing.
This is not a mater of judgment, but what works and what does not for each individual at that time, BUT ultimately… as I said, ascension will include the cessasion of all cunsumption of whole consciousnesses, save the unifying wich is actually expansion.
Thank you greatly moderator for allowing the reptilian issue to be addressed. It is VERY real. There is even a Christian book called 23 Minutes in Hell by Bill Wiese in which he describes what he thinks is the Christian hell.
He claims he was sent there by no doing of his own, but the very thought that he needs another human to commune with God is what sent him there. I notice that the reptilians beat him when he begins to self-loath in his cell, and leave him alone in his cell when he thinks of his wife and love for her, BUT when he starts to think, “I’ll never see her again!” They come right back in to beat and rip him apart.
In truth these reptilians are our creation of the ultimate teacher for those in the ultimate denial of self…. to which humanity has been in. That is why they are terrified of us knowing our truth… that they will fade like shadows as we fade all thoughts not in unconditional love!
