"The Secrets of the Saucers," by Orfreo M. Angelucci, is a surprisingly authentic UFO book describing a 1952 ET contact that led to positive, prophetic messages coming through a human channel...
THE REAL DEAL
What you are about to read is an account of a contact that began on May 23, 1952, and led to a predominantly accurate transmission of written messages and information. Some aspects could appear to impugn its credibility, such as a purported asteroid collision that might have destroyed our world in 1986 had we not evolved spiritually enough by that point -- but it is typical to have some degree of distortion mixed in with quality information.
One of many major correlations with the Law of One material is the discussion of the "exploded planet" Maldek (here called by its other name, Lucifer) between Mars and Jupiter. And yes, Biblical mythos of Lucifer are, in part, encrypted messages about this cataclysm.
In the 1950s you couldn't "just write" about UFOs -- you had to pass agents, readers, editors and the bureaucracy of the publishing companies. Granted, you could still have BS come through this system, but reputations were at stake and the standards were much more exacting.

"This is one of the best contactee accounts of the 1950s. Mr. Angelucci's Secret of the Saucers is a memoir of a more innocent time, and a tale of spiritual growth. It was edited by Ray Palmer, the gray eminence behind FATE magazine, the publisher of the first flying saucer accounts, and the Shaver mythos before that. In fact, Angelucci's name doesn't appear on the title page, simply Palmer as editor. Angelucci is, strangely, only listed as a copyright holder.
The well-named 'Orfeo' (see Orpheus and his journey into the underworld) was, like Shaver, a regular guy, a swing-shift line worker at a Lockheed factory in southern California.
On Friday, May 23, 1952, by this account, he was strangely drawn to a remote location in Griffith Park; actually not a bad place to land a UFO in Los Angeles. He was contacted by an alien entity named 'Neptune.' Later he is taken aboard a spaceship, gets to visit their paradisiacal home planet by exchanging bodies with Neptune, meets Jesus, and gets to see the end of the world (in 1986).
Angelucci (or Palmer?) does some seminal UFO myth-building here. There was a being named Lucifer who lived on a planet between Mars and Jupiter. His hubris led to the planet being shattered into the asteroid belt. Humans were imprisoned on Earth, to work off the karmic debt.
There is a 'prime directive' which prevents the UFO builders from interfering in Earth's affairs. However, humanity's spiritual evolution is helped along by extraterrestrial, godlike entities such as Jesus. The contactee is instructed to spread the UFO builders' message to the world at large, and only a handful are picked from the multitudes. All of these themes have become incorporated in one form or another into various UFO belief systems.
There is a field guide to UFOs at the end with some fascinating details. The UFOs are grown as a single large crystal with all of the subsystems intact, and work on some kind of magnetic principle. They have capabilities such as tractor beams, cloaking devices, and inertial dampening; the concepts were so fresh in 1955 they didn't even have names yet. Some are small drones, used for surveillance. Others are huge motherships.
Among the highlights on earth are a description of the first ever UFO convention, and a speaking tour that goes horribly wrong. The book makes a brisk read (again, a hallmark of Palmer), and if you suspend disbelief, it works as science fiction as well.

This is one of a small number of books that we will be featuring as the precursors to the ultimate contact of our time, the Law of One series, aka "The Ra Material." The story of how these early books fit together -- of which this is one of about five or less -- has been covered in some of David's live lectures and will eventually be covered here and in his upcoming 2012 book.
This book opened the door for its channel to be contacted by someone who was working with several others, and gained valuable testimony from multiple witnesses who independently said the same thing. The whole story will be revealed within the next few months.
Bear in mind that the in-person, 3D physical ET contacts reported in this book are, according to the Law of One series, no longer being done. This is due to the fact that the experiencers of these events experienced personality distortions of being special, unique or different from others, and were not emotionally equipped to handle the cultish praise they then received.
For now, we invite you to enjoy this rare and precious document! It's a bit rough going and overly autobiographical in the preface, so we urge you to skip ahead to Chapter One if you at all start to lose interest. Buckle up... this is a hell of a ride!

Really weird... I work at an academic library and found this book at another insitution. When I ordered and received the book it just happened to be signed by Orfeo himself! I really love the book and I really cannot see why anyone else would not. It really does not matter that it does not correspond to the LofO. Common people you are analyzing this way too much! In the early seventies a group of young people would drive west on Tamiami Trail in South Miami and we would sit on the hood of the cars and watch these aerial maneuvers which we were certain were spaceships because of the flight patterns which defied the laws of our aerodynamics. They were of various luminescences and colors and would literally dance in the skies. After a while they would converge into a point and then disappear! Sometimes they would return sometimes not. This was in the summer of 1974. A couple of years earlier, we had been channeling someone by the name of Ashla kalma and information very similar to Orfeo's, Seth's, the Law of One and now David Wilcock's was coming through. Apparently this has been going on for a few generations now and we are transcending, of this there is no doubt. Namaste!

Like lauralisa's comment, I too was struck with the thought that the "Great Accident" was Chernobyl in 1986. I was visited over 3 days in 1990- no space rides. My sense of the visitor is that they are far more spiritually mature and that the "evil" ones are those Earthlings living among us. Great read.
one thing i noticed about the history of the asteroid belt told by orion in orfeos book, is that the names given to the planet and the hosts are different than in the law of one, the ra material. orion tells that the planets name was lucifer and that it had a prince named lucifer. ra proclaims that the planet was called maldek, and that when the people of that planet had to exile they became the neanderthals. orion states that lucifer was exiled and that his minions came down with him. that story seems familiar with the story about mars and their luciferian rebelian but that could just be that mars was influenced by maldek because both civilizations were aware of the law of one within the universe, and both making the same mistakes. so really are the two different versions of the same events just the higher selves using the persons knowledge to explain the events in ways so that those people can understand what they are saying?
Another excellent explanation that we all have to take responsibility and help maneuver the Earth in a positive direction. But, I would like to see more about how to do that! Well exemplified by Serge Kahlil King "The Urban Shaman".
In his discussion on the sweeping changes that are upon us and the role we must each play he suggests:

"At what we call the second level, "ike papalua," it is a thought sent to one you care about, a prayer. Love at this level is telling a mountain how beautiful it is, speaking to a dolphin, singing to the stars, listening to the voice of a tree. It is using the "la'a kea" to build and send out thoughtforms that represent the way you want the world to be, so that others may notice them at second level and reinforce them in their own way."
"At third level, "ike papakolu," the spirit of Aloha is recognizing love in everything you see around you, in everything that happens within you, of seeing and experiencing everything as a symbol of love. It is recognizing the assimilation of food by your body as a symbol of receiving love, is the realization that even the processing of toxic waste, that is called so toxic by you, and yet is given to the world from your body, is nourishing to other aspects of the Earth. That receiving and giving out again is a symbol of love."
There comes a time when we have to stop reading about it and do something!

Timeless Law of One tinged info - from 1955! My heart is with Rufeo - with no human fellows in his mission, his love for mankind transcended his fear of ridicule of 1950's America, and he may well have helped open the door to continued efforts of our higher density friends to impart the timeless message of the Law of One to Man. I'll be the first to comment and say WOW - I just loved reading this and still have about 20 pages to go. I really resonated with a lot and found many times I had feelings of 'knowingness'. The Lucifer bit made a big impact because only days before I was drawn to bring up Lucifer on my own forum without any prior thought about 'him'. So much resonates as truth with this book. Thanks so much for sharing it!

If i may make another comment, also at 4 Am before goingt to bed after watching the UFOdisclosure video I walked my dog and looked up into the sky thinking it would be wonderful to see a UFO but was convinced i wouldn't. Looking out my window though there was a strange reddish glowing cloud and i thought it might be the reflections of the sun beginning to rise...
...Orfeo describes his first UFOencounter seeing a dim faintly redglowing ovalshaped object..What i saw was a cloud of course, but the synchronicity strikes me and as i'm now reading the story i'm slowly daring to think that perhaps the two posts i've made about an incident that happened to me in the early 90:ies where i was asking if it could have been a UFO-contact actually was a 1:st atempt to contact me...
