2010 Crisis Worse than 2008Mervyn King, the Bank of England Governor, summed it up best: "Dealing with a banking crisis was difficult enough," he said the other week, "but at least there were public-sector balance sheets on to which the problems could be moved. Once you move into sovereign debt, there is no answer; there's no backstop."In other words, were this a computer game, the politicians would be down to their last life. Any mistake now and it really is Game Over. Or to pick a slightly more traditional game, it is rather like a session of pass-the-parcel which is fast approaching the end of the line.The European financial crisis may look and smell rather different to the American banking crisis of a couple of years ago, but strip away the details – the breakdown of the euro, the crumbling of the Spanish banking system to take just two – and what you are left with is the next leg of a global financial crisis.Politicians temporarily "solved" the sub-prime crisis of 2007 and 2008 by nationalising billions of pounds' worth of bank debt. While this helped reinject a little confidence into markets, the real upshot was merely to transfer that debt on to public-sector balance sheets.This kind of card-shuffle trick has a long-established pedigree: after the dotcom bust, Alan Greenspan slashed US interest rates to (then) unprecedented lows, which helped dull the pain, but only at the cost of generating the housing bubble that fed sub-prime.It is not so different to the Ponzi scheme carried out by Bernard Madoff, except that unlike his hedge fund fraud, this one is being carried out in full public view.The problem is that this has to stop somewhere, and that gasping noise over the past couple of weeks is the sound of millions of investors realising, all at once, that the music might have stopped.Having leapt back into the market in 2009 and fuelled the biggest stock-market leap since the recovery from the Wall Street Crash in the early 1930s, investors have suddenly deserted.London's FTSE 100 has lost 15 per cent of its value in little more than a month. The mayhem on European bourses is even worse, while on Wall Street the Dow Jones teeters on the brink of the talismanic 10,000 level.Whatever yardstick you care to choose – share-price moves, the rates at which banks lend to each other, measures of volatility – we are now in a similar position to 2008.Europe's problem is that the unfortunate game of pass-the-parcel came at just the wrong moment. It resulted in a hefty extra amount of debt being lumped on to its member states' balance sheets when they were least-equipped to deal with it…The International Monetary Fund simply does not have enough cash to bail out a major economy like Spain, Italy or, heaven forfend, Britain. So, again, we find ourselves in unknown territory.There are plenty of episodes in history when countries have been as indebted as they are now, but they are all associated with periods of war.History shows that when nations reach as high a level of indebtedness as Greece, and have as few prospects of growth, they will almost certainly default.Indeed, the IMF, which has pretty good experience of fiscal crises, privately recommended that Greece restructure its debt (a kind of soft default, renegotiating payment terms). It was refused point-blank by the European authorities.To understand why, step back for a moment. It is fashionable to compare the current situation to the Lehman Brothers collapse, but that understates its severity.The sub-prime property market in the US, together with its slightly less toxic relatives, represented a $2 trillion mound of debt.The combined public and private debt of the most troubled European countries – Greece, Portugal, Spain and so on – is closer to $9 trillion.Moreover, whereas the pain from sub-prime was spread out relatively widely, with investors hailing from both sides of the Atlantic, the owners of the suspect European debt tend almost exclusively to be, gulp, Europeans.No one is suggesting all of this debt will go bad, but the European policymakers fear that the merest hint that Greece might default would spark a chain reaction that would cause a more profound crisis than in 2008…Earlier this month, when the French President Nicolas Sarkozy announced that the continent would be saved by a "shock and awe" $1 trillion bail-out package, markets convinced themselves for a moment that the politicians might be able to manage it.But the challenge of having to co-ordinate an unprecedented rescue across a 16-nation region without a common language or central Treasury is proving too much for Europe's leaders.Add to this the fact that most citizens (particularly in Germany) resent the idea of bailing each other out at all, and are willing to vote out their governments to prove it, and you get the idea of the challenge at hand…In the meantime, European politicians, torn in one way by their voters, in another by Brussels, emit even more confusing signals which only destabilise markets further. Angela Merkel's ban on investors short-selling German bank shares, and the collapse of a swathe of Spanish savings banks have hardly helped, either.And all the while, the euro continues to fall as investors mull its fate. The single currency can survive – but only if its members agree to more political union, and the prospect of that would be about as palatable to the people of Europe this summer as an ouzo and retsina cocktail.

But it is the present Internet that has become an annoyance to him because he reasons that the mass of the public are essentially stupid and easily led.
From this, he goes on to express anger at the flood of “conspiracy” sites and the logical conclusion that their essentially anti-government beliefs could lead to anarchy, resistance to, as he sees it, more government control over a population that could be influenced by others to, let us say, attack the Jewish community.
In 2008, Sunstein and one Adrian Vermeule authored a paper on conspiracy theories and wrote:”The existence of both domestic and foreign conspiracy theories, we suggest, is no trivial matter, posing real risks to the government’s antiterrorism policies, whatever the latter may be.”
They go on to propose that, “the best response consists in cognitive infiltration of extremist groups”, where they suggest, among other tactics, “Government agents (and their allies) might enter chat rooms, online social networks, or even real-space groups and attempt to undermine percolating conspiracy theories by raising doubts about their factual premises, causal logic or implications for political action.”...

I have news for you, and no intention to bother you with stories or anything else (other than those spirals are holograms), but if you will have someone contact me my stepdad is setting up a function in D.C. in September gathering many Area 51 people to talk about who knows what, he said "declassified" material of some kind.
It is apparently public, he told me about it, he said Area 51, and he was WAY up there in government and is currently in a "secret government" by my best guesses from what all i've heard him say and what other family members have said (and were not supposed to).

Great interview with Graham Hancock, David. Puts more things into perspective for me.
Couldn't help but sense that many of our institutions are funded by corporations and their desire is to keep us in the dark so that we can be easily controlled.
I'm not a strong opponent of mind altering substances, but I strongly do believe that through meditation, we can achieve connections with parallel realities.
I, myself, have had these connections.
And, at times have been able to channel loving messages from the "other side", go assist those needing to hear these messages of healing.

I have been to South America to do Ayahusca. It was an amazing and life altering experience!
I was happy to hear Graham talk about it here because it's very hard to describe the experience to those who have never done it.
Most people would think you"re ``out there` when you tell them of the experience.
What I would say to describe it though is that it filled me with a capacity for love that I had never known before.
If you feel called to do it I would suggest you look into it.
It is not an easy experience though so if you are expecting a recreational little trip off the farm you will be very disappointed.
It will reveal you to your very soul.

For me the most compelling part of this interview was the discussion on DMT.
I've never tried it but I can see how it is possible for a chemical to tune our brains into other realms.
Oh, and David Wilcock seems overly interested in the machinations of "debunkers."
I'm sure the moderator will have some sort of rationale for that. However, it may just be possible that DW is externalizing some inner truths that have been denied.

Let me now give you some hints and links on the topics of the famous 2012 crop circle, DNA changes and the arc of covenant.
As far as the -----2012 crop circle----- is concerned, e.g. the one with the solar system constellation in it, there is a theory of an Austrian crop circle researcher.
His name is Jay Goldner. His web site is http://www.kornkreiswelt.at, and the video, unfortunately only in German language, can be found if you click on "Kornzeichen - Im Fokus auf 2012".
To cut a long story short he argued that our solar system would at this designated time form a gigantic Chufru pyramide with the earth as its capstone, and slopes with 52 degrees exactly like the Great Giza Pyramide in Egypt.
For this to see for yourself you have to connect at first the middle of the sun with Mars, Saturn, then the Earth and finally Neptune. (On the video you can find the picture of it at 17.50 or 19.00 or so.)
That would mean that our planet would become the recipient of some kind of torsion energy blast then, as it is always the case with things you put on the top of Giza-like pyramides.
Then you can find a hexagram by connecting planets like Mars and Jupiter, and for that the Mars had been repositioned, according to Goldner, by 3 degrees, which would also be no accident.
(This is difficult to explain with words, so I just leave it that.)
Jay Goldner also mentioned many Maya symbols had appeared in crop circles.
A significant example of this and the first one also is the Hunab Ku symbol for divine and galactic consciosness.
It appered already in 1996, on July the 13th in West Overton.
Then he went on with an explanation for the aberration of the Pluto in the crop circle, which, as David mentioned in his video, is ahead of its position.
Jay Goldner is not mentioning a planet X hypothesis, but is of the opinion that a stellar object, supposedly a dead sun, a so-called brown dwarf, would enter the solar system at this time, appearing in the direction of sagittarius.
It is supposed to be the size of 1.9 Jupiter masses, and would cause the Pluto somehow to accelarate to its indicated position in the crop circle. You can see some spiral-like cirles at the side of crop circle, which supposedly indicate the coming brown dwarf.

Now enter some -----reserch concerning the arc-----. The German researcher Thomas Ritter travelled around the mysterious location of Rennes le Chateau in Southern France, and found gold coins and further evidence that the antique people of the Goths had hidden their treasures there.
He suggested that the lost arc would be located next to left and ruined village Opoul-Périllos, under the mountain called "Salvaterra" ("Rescued Earth") with the castle Chateau Opoul.
Its postal code is 66600, it is described as a haunted and cursed place by its local neighbors, and the first and early cartograph of France, Cassini, didn't even draw it on his maps.
When the territory was annexed by the French king Louis XIV. it was supposedly marked as a holy territory, never to be sold, mortgaged and divided, and remained in this state until the end of World War II.
The mysteriously rich priest Saunière, who was the leading figure in the still unresolved story of Rennes-le-Chateau, had a landscape model of this location built, and was supposedly able to persuade Jewish communities to pay him a handsome amount of money for excavations: 8 million Francs in gold were required, nowadays the equivalent of 180 million Dollars.
In this region was also a Jewish fiefdom at medieval times, proclaimed in the year 768, with a ruler from Bagdad calling himself Makhis David Theoderic. Ritter argued that the templars brought the arc to France, and traded it for material support and knowledge, thus giving the arc to an ancient Jewish priest caste, calling himself the "Cohen".
This small fiefdom dissolved later on, but some Cohens supposedly built a subterranean temple for the arc. Saunière, as Ritter argued, came across this information, and managed to persuade the Jewish to take it seriously enough.

I am 44 years old, living in Cologne, Germany. Ever since I have been a child of nine I have been waiting for some kind of an "update" of human DNA on earth to occur to enable us humans here to feel more deeply connected with earth other and to communicate with each other more effortlessly - as one.
I have also been waiting for contact with beings from our vast outer space and the resolution of individual and collective isolation and separation.
When I was in elementary school and taught about ancient Egyptian civilization I knew in my heart I wasn't being told the truth about for instance how the pyramids have been constructed.
I just KNEW they had more advanced technology than anything my teacher was able to imagine.
I don't exactly know how I came here, but I come from far far away (probably a different galaxy...) and am here for an intensive on love.
My son of 10 whom I raise as a single mom is a great help to me on that. Without him being with me I would probably be pretty much without a clue.
I see my deepest wishes and childhood dreams come true with every word you publish on your site and therefore sometimes I tend to hold my breath.

According to Carl Calleman July is the beginning of the final Mayan wave, called the ninth wave, it is the beginning of the final "Day" and the end of the "Night".
We are currently in the final night (everything goes crazy and seems to freefall downwards) but during the final "day" we shall experience unity consciousness.
This is the final part of our schooling. My thoughts are the aliens will say hi during the next Day so sometime after July, as they represent unity conciousness, or rather universal consciousness.

What a phenomenal interview. Can you imagine diving for years and looking at the ancient ruins hidden all over the oceans?
Not much to add here, other than expanding on the symbol of the Ankh, which I would postulate is also the Caduceus.
In ancient times, the Caduceus was a staff that stood the height of a human, and along this staff were placed the crystals and stones that amplified the chakras.
So, this staff was held at arms length from the subject, and the serpentine energy as depicted by the great pyramid in South America and elsewhere at Spring Equinox, the spiraling double helix of DNA energy rises up from the base of the spine, up through the central column and activates all of the chakras, ending up at the pineal gland, which secretes and releases the elixirs of immortality as they were known, or in other words, the fullness of spirit inhabitant in the flesh, the visions of enlightenment.
So, when the vibrations of the lower chakras are resonating much deeper and more profoundly than ever before as we move towards the completion of the long cycle, as we move closer to galactic center, our job is not to judge these energies as fear of the first chakra, anger of the second chakra, and grief of the third chakra, but instead of doing battle with these energies and discharging them, which is what the “powers that were” want us to do, is to embrace them in such a way that we bring them into unity with the upper chakras by passing them through the “great transformer” energy of the heart, unifying them with the voice of the fifth chakra, the vision of the sixth and the connection to the celestial at the crown.

I see a lot of similarities between what is mentioned through the law of one, (new theories) and the content of the book.
The experience of reincarnation some 6000 yrs ago gives a picture of how people with 5th or even 6th dimensional abilities.
The very high priests who were initiated in higher wisdom.
It is well worth reading, also the maths that is explained in the book, vortexes, healing abilities etc...

I had a dream. I was on a ship I believe much like the Black Pearl from The Pirates of the Caribbean...
all of a sudden, it started going down this steep oceanic-river, towards a cursed chasm of sorts.
This "place", was at the bottom of the steep hill that I was somehow coasting down in rushing water.
When I got to the bottom, the ship went through this clear holographic ice sheet that was invisible and reflected normal scenery that everyone else used to pass right by but somehow it could be seen now and now that I went through it, it broke the curse that was cast...
The curse was basically a spell thrown over our memory of who we really were...
in this place, other than technological secrets that would blow your mind, those were a footnote compared to the sentient beings that were imprisoned there too.
I don't know if imprisoned is a right word... perhaps cut off, or at least prevented from coming through and celebrating life with us again as we used to do together so long ago.
Anyways, once the ship went through it, everything came out... this might sound retarded, but all these fantastic creatures like half animal/human and whatever your imagination can think of came out and flooded the land...

I understand that those states can also be reached through meditation, but for those of us, like me, who struggle with the process and the ability to still the mind, this sounds like an inviting alternative.

I would like to direct the attention to the book Initiation by Elisabeth Haich.
The book is an autobiography and shares the personal experience of the author going consciously back into a past life in Egypt being initiated as a High Priestess.
The catch is her info on The Ark of The Covenant and The Ankh which was an actual lifeforce "stick".
The job for the Priests and Priestesses back in ancient Egypt was to direct lifeforce from God through their highly initiated bodies into the Ankh, which could then "scale down" the Godenergy into levels that human beings could cope with.
The Ankh was used for human healing and also for working with gravity, making it possible to levitate and work the huge stones used for the Pyramids.
Thus the clear cut sides of the stones, which was basically carved by force of Godenergy directed at them through the Ankh.
The Covenant was used to store the Godforce and it is described in the book, how ordinary human beings would drop dead from being exposed to the Covenant due to the high levels of Godenergy contained therein.

The book was first published in 1960 and the woman later became a respected yogateacher in Europe.
Of course no one can proove the accuracy of the info, but it´s a hint worth taking seriously.

David...as I listened to your extremely interesting interview with Graham Hancock I was overtaken with the absolutely obvious parallel between the ancient Mayan winged serpent god Quatzalcoatl and the Kundalini serpent identified and described in ancient Hindu texts.
It is said to sleep at the base
of the spine and when awakened, it begins to travel upward (as on wings) energizing the energy centers (chakras) of the body as it ascends until it arrives at and pierces the crown chakra located on the top of the head at which point Enlightenment or Christ Consciousness is attained.
Could this be the result of passing through this wave of energy from the center of our galaxy due to hit our planet on 12/21/12??!!
I have practiced TM since 1970 and "the siddhis" since 1979. I know from personal experience that these techniques first prepare the body for this awakening and then encourage its upward movement through conscious intention!

I'm not sure disclosure is an act that is of the highest possible good.

just want to add my thanks to the chorus of gratitude 
i have some similar intuition regarding the oil spill, that it could be a good thing, a catalyst. at least i sure hope so!
same w/ Obama--a good man operating in an insider environment gone stark, raving mad.
trying to point that out to fearful friends is a challenge, as they then see me as 'The Enemy'.
i say give it time, and hopefully not too much longer.
i do believe we are on the home stretch here folks, let's hold our vision highly and with solidarity for the liberation of our entire planet and all sentient beings!
I am indeed very, very interested to see if suppressed technologies will be used for this oil catastrophe.

I really like David's message and want to believe so badly that what he says is true.
I believe disclosure will happen but I want it to happen while I'm alive.
What's turning me off though are all of those that are believing him religiously?
I don't think this is his fault - David seems like a wonderful person.
I'm just leery of crowds of people that instantly assimilate the words of others to their own belief system as truth.
I'm looking at the comments after his blogs and the forum lacks a little healthy skepticism.
Also I can't seem to tell who is writing the blogs because it seems david is writing about himself in third person.
I'm assuming david writes the blogs?

The main reason why you don't see much opposition here is that they typically are so cruel they never will be accepted by moderation staff.
I know David well enough to remind you that for two years he went 'on strike' because of the exact phenomenon you mentioned.
He hardly ever wrote new posts on the website and completely refused to accept any public appearances.
I, for one, am glad this has turned around, and that David has been able to accept the different types of energy he gets.]

Thanks also for passing on information and your own insights about what is ahead financially and with disclosure.
We know we can weather whatever happens, as we have been well prepared, we are all exactly where we are supposed to be, we packed many gifts in our tool box when we came in, and we all know where this is heading and long for it deep in our souls.
We are not worried, but rather anticipatory to finally see the shift.
One point I have been wanting to make about President Obama is exactly in keeping with what you have said.
We all know that no president has been his own person for decades, and whoever has been elected, no matter how unexpected or optimistic and good-hearted (as I believe is the case with Obama), has been compromised and has been forced to follow the corporatist, party line once they are in office.
That, of course, is changing now for reasons that go way beyond politics or even any groundswell of public awareness.
It is consciousness and the trends of time that are at work here, which manifest through changing public awareness and pressure for the right thing to be done.
We will see that play out now, because it is time for that in the big picture and it is happening right on schedule. We are entering truly exciting times.
Keep up the great work, David. You have much support here on earth and from the heavens.

Over the many years that I have known of you and followed your work very closely, there is only one thing that I strongly disagree with.
True history has shown very dramatically the operations of the hidden hand in all of our recorded history.
I am not an anti-Semite nor do I hold any racial hatred for Jews or any other racial or religious group.
That being said, if you cannot see that the Zionist movement has ALWAYS been behind EVERY major conflict, false flag operation, and not-so-natural disaster, then you are just not looking or you are refusing to see the truth just because it makes you uncomfortable.
It is not a matter of racism or religious intolerance. It is a matter of criminal activity, crime against humanity, crime and criminals that need to be brought to justice.
It has taken a few millennium for these crimes to come to light, but they are finally coming to light and people are waking up to the fact that they have been had, and they're pissed.
Although people have a right to defend themselves, it is a little hard to use that defense when you are squatting on land that was stolen from other people, and further indefensible when you are constantly taking over more and more land that doesn't belong to you in order to build new resort communities on the Mediterranean beaches.
There is no defense for the actions of Israel against the Gazans. If you try to starve, kill, and imprison people they are going to fight back.
I think before you speak of Israel and Jews, you should do a lot more research into the subject, because the only way you could possibly hold the opinion you hold is through ignorance of the FACTS.
I deal with my strong emotions regarding this subject on a daily basis.
Indeed it is my primary stumbling block and requires my constant vigilance to keep it from turning into pure unadulterated hatred.
I am however successful in that and hold no ill will toward the Jewish people. They are as much a victim of their leadership and misguided religious belief as any of the rest of us.
The question that burns in my mind is why these so-called benevolent ET's that supposedly have our best interests at heart, have not done anything to correct those problems since they are the responsible party for this mess.
The interference of ET entities in the past is what has created the disillusionment of our world.
To bring knowledge and technology to us and then abandon us to our own devices seems to me to be the ultimate violation of the law of non interference they claim to believe in so strongly.
Because of that interference, they are already deeply entrenched in our society, there is really no reason for them to continue to wait for disclosure or anything else.
Well, I still love ya dude but we'll just have to agree to disagree on this particular subject. The dirt doesn't go away just because it's been swept under the carpet.

The video and information is amazing, and I would like to compliment Larry on his music, it is heavenly; however, being somewhat hearing impaired it is very hard for me to hear what is being said through different tones of the music that I find I'm trying so hard to concentrate on hearing what is being said through these tones and not absorbing the message in these parts of the video.
If the volume of the music could just be lowered that would be perfect.
I love the sound tracks though, they do guide you through the interviews feelings and expressions.

I respect Wilcock work as much as I respect David Icke's but my gut feeling is that Wilcock's is too much tainted by new age naive optimism.

Nonetheless, what you think of as "New Age naive optimism" is, in fact, the way things really work.
Those who haven't discovered this yet simply have not made a strong enough connection with their own Higher Self.
The more you do this, the more you realize that the naive ones are those who buy into the fear that has been spoon-fed to them all their lives, often intermittently with a plank to the head.

I think Graham wins my favorite interviewee of the year award because he has not only put in all the work necessary for his books, to make them exciting and readable, but he takes on the most difficult challenge, staying himself in the process.

I think the articles you are citing in this entry are better than those of your previous entry, as they are more "to the point" regarding ET disclosure scenarios.
I also appreciate your optimism regarding government attempts to censor the internet.
Let us hope that this oil spill turns out to be more than just a catalyst for development of green energy.
Any negative event can be viewed as a "catalyst," however it's more important to see exactly how it will change things for the better.
