After I had read about the Cydonia complex superimposing over Washington D.C. I decided to try it out for myself. I got some photos of both D.C. and Cydonia to play around with. I wasn't surprised to see that they did in fact line up. But not at first. Yet this is very interesting! First I took a photo from Google Earth of Washington D.C. and put it into Adobe ImageReady, then took a photo of Cydonia off of the internet, sized it up to match the distances between the White House and the Pentagon compared to the D&M and the Face, then superimposed them over each other and they did not line up at all. I made sure that the Cydonia complex was aligned straight to north yet it still didn't match up with D.C. It wasn't until I rotated the Cydonia complex 19.5 degrees clockwise from true north (or Washington D.C. 19.5 degrees counter-clockwise) did the whole thing line up. Wow, 19.5, which is what Cydonia implies! Has this been mentioned before? It sounds so perfect that D.C. would align 19.5 degrees different from Cydonia since according to Richard Hoagland, 19.5 is part of what Cydonia is telling us. So back to where we were, even the angles at which the D&M Pyramid and the Pentagon align are extremely similar. The only discrepancy I found is that the "Tholus" and the 6-way intersection don't match up exactly as mentioned in David's article, "The Revealing III". Even though the intersection and Barney Circle match up at the same angles as the "Tholus" and the satellite, they are still off by what seems to be at least a quarter mile. But then maybe they weren't so perfect in mirroring it just right or maybe it has nothing to do with D.C. But it's still pretty close. See the photo titled Cydonia-Washington.gif in the files section (if it uploaded correctly) for an animated gif that I made showing you the similarities between the Pentagon/D&M, White House/Face, and Rosslyn/City Square. Even though the "Tholus" doesn't quite match up, the similarities between the latter three are uncanny! |
