David Indian scientist challenges Einstein Vijay Thakur NEW DELHI, Aug. 20: E may be equal to mc2, but this famous equation now faces a challenge from an Indian scientist. Ajay Sharma, a lecturer in physics at Himachal Pradesh, says he has found a ?conceptual loophole? in Einstein?s equation. ?I have seriously analysed Einstein?s 1905 research paper and have found a conceptual mistake while deriving E=mc2. Einstein?s theory is valid for nuclear reactions only, but hasn?t been confirmed in the burning of fuels. I have suggested a new equation,? Mr Sharma said.
