Hi everybody, I have a question about the information Ra gave us about healing ourselves. They said in session 5: http://wiki.bring4th.org/index.php/Ra_Session_5 "" Questioner: We have decided to accept, if offered, the honor/duty of learning/teaching the healing process. I would ask as to the first step which we should accomplish in becoming effective healers. RA: I am Ra. We shall begin with the first of the three teachings/learnings. We begin with the mental learn/teachings necessary for contact with intelligent infinity. The prerequisite of mental work is the ability to retain silence of self at a steady state when required by the self. The mind must be opened like a door. The key is silence. Within the door lies an hierarchical construction you may liken unto geography and in some ways geometry, for the hierarchy is quite regular, bearing inner relationships. ... "" Now when they say that the first thing needed for being able to heal the self is a quiet mind. How do we know when the mind is open like a door? Cause going in to silence can go very far, from my experience in the past, getting totally absorbed in silence is the same as a total unity experience or samadhi, I know this produces healing to as they say in the Ra material but for these healing exercices they offered us I assume it's not necessary to go fully in Samadhi. So does anybody has an idea what they exactly mean with silence the self at a steady state and the mind being opened like a door? Any feedback is most welcome. Anybody been practicing these exercices for some time already? After this first question I would like to go further into the exercices they offered us. The mental disciplines, understanding the body complex and so on. I'm sure I'm not alone in wanting to study this more deeply. Namaste, Filip |

Communications with higher self on healing and sometimes other subjects came with very little effort. Fortunately for me, the stilling of the mind was not difficult to accomplish. I started with breath meditations and the rest followed with ease. A flood gate of knowledge regarding healing entered through the opened door that is spoken of, within a split second it seemed. As though I suddenly knew techniques of energy healing like it had always been, but the gate was shut until then. As I read Paula's response, I could identify with the idea some will say you are crazy if you talk about hearing your higher self and other selves. But, I am very happy to have this so open communication between the different levels of self/one. It is true also that these healing and informative messages can also spring forth in the middle of the everyday chatter thoughts of the brain. Messages with answers sometimes of such complex nature I must study the meaning of the terms, but, they are always beneficial. Opening the gate or doorway through the silencing of the ever present brain dialogue can be the break through of the illusional barrier, but, once you do this, it seems the door is really always then open. That is how my experience has been anyway. Namaste to you always... Susan Stangeangels_9 |

Filip, In order to heal thy self and get to the silence, I have found it greatly helpful to simply act as an observer to myself in any situation. To do this, I simply go to a quiet room with no distractions and sit there in the dark (or just quiet) and let whatever thoughts or emotions come to me that come to me. I then pretend that I am watching myself like one would watch a movie. When I do this several things happen for me: (1) I usually get a bigger picture of what is really happening. (2) I begin to get an idea as to what the real issue(s) is(are). Often we are afraid to sit in our thoughts and emotions and to accept them as they are... neither good nor bad, just there. Most people would just turn on the TV, stereo, or do something to distract themselves or drown themselves from their thoughts....but I find that when we do this the mind simply turns up the volume on the issues and we eventually have to deal with them when they have grown out of hand. When you sit in your thoughts and emotions you begin to see what you are not accepting in self or others and you begin the healing process. The sooner one sits in them the better. It is not so scary as it seems initially and after a while you get really good at it. The first time or so it is kinda scary but it passes. As you continue to do this, you find that issues start peeling off like an onion (as Paula likes to call it). Don't expect instant solutions though (like you would in ordering something from a drive through menu at McDonands). Be patient with yourself and BELIEVE that the issues will be conquered in time (as you are in a world of time and space). Allow yourself not to have to be perfect. Recognize that the divine does not require you to be perfect...just to be. Is the divine not equally loving of you as it is of the birds, the plants, and the animals in the world? Recognize that you ARE thought of by the divine, or else you would not even exist. Over time you will notice that your thoughts will become more focuses and silence will become welcomed (perhaps even preferred) where it once was feared. I find that we are so busy DOING all the time in our society that we forget to BE. This silence is your BEingness. There is no reason to be afraid of it. It is you. Once you gain an better understanding of silence (BEingness) then you can simply choose the balance point and take action to DO something if it is your choice. I also practice the art of Sungazing (yes directly looking at the Sun during certain times of day) which is really an external focus on something other than my self absorbed thoughts. I won't say much more on this as some may consider it controversial (and I will tell you that if you have any fear of the Sun and going blind or if your soul does not tell you that it is right for you that you should NOT do it), but it has helped me to reach greater emotional and mental balance in my life where sometimes I get stuck in regular meditation. I have Sungazed for up to 30 minutes at a time. No matter what method(s) you use to gain silence, remember that it is working...even though sometimes it seems like it is not. We cannot always see the world of cause and effect until it manifests into our awareness. It is all about DOingness versus BEingness...and being able to go between the two of them at will. Hi Filip, I relate what Ra is talking about to the Japanese art of Reiki healing. I have been using Reiki for the last few years, and what Ra talks about is exactly along the lines of Reiki (which excites me, because lately in my studies everything I'm pulling from different sources is matching up). In Reiki, the idea is to clear the mind to allow the universal energy to flow through you. It flows through you regardless of your brainwave state, but flows alot more when you reach meditative states. The idea is to become a clear channel with no blockages. You don't necessarily have to be in a Delta (deep deep meditation) state to have the healing energy flow through you...just relax, calm your mind and it will come. The universal healing energy is there for everyone to access. There are very few rules, if any, to follow when accessing this energy. It's always there. Quiet your mind and realize it there's all around you, at every moment. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |

If you like to do reiki in group maybe this site will intrest you: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group...veryThruReiki/ They have weekly online group meetings which are focused on healing and sharing reiki. Very fun initiative and a great place if you don't have a local meditation group but like to practice in group. Peace, Filip |
