Well,

This could be the primary reason why the study of Neuroscience has been on the
fore-front for quite some time.

In the past 5-6 years, scientists have discovered so much information about
the functionality and capacity of the brain that it's mind-boggling. (Sorry,
couldn't resist the pun there.) Also, they've compiled new research that
contradicts older information that has been accepted as undisputed 'fact' up
until now.
