What about the idea that those who have "gone to the other side" and can communicate with a medium telling us still living on earth they are just happy and fine might be in "heaven" and those "lost souls" who come back to haunt earthlings and don't understand they are dead might be "stuck in hell".

I have had contact with most of my deceased relatives via mediums that have pinpointed extremely accurate and abundant details about themselves and my lifesituation.

There a mediums that can contact disturbed souls and guide them back to "the light", i know one personally and have seen several trustworthy ones doing this on swedish TV.

There might be several versions of "heavens" and "hells" since i don't think those waiting in "bardo" to reincarnate have ascended to 4D ´positive or negative.

There is no heaven or hell. When not incarnate, we are one with intelligent infinity. Those who fail to go to the light are caught in an astral plane because of their incarnate death experience was confusing to them, hence ghosts. These entities will be taken to the light when the harvest begins. All will be as it is supposed to be. No one will be forgotten.

I did not say there actually is "heaven and hell". I was referring to an earlier post concerning religions having misunderstood other densities, astral planes and states of consciousness as "heaven and hell"

My apologies if you misunderstood my post to be "telling" I often am misunderstood when I write. I believe this is common in the world of the interweb, where body language and facial expressions are nonexistent.

my experience is that our dead, or how I prefer to refer to them, "our loved ones who have crossed over," are ALWAYS with us, so in 4th dimension they will also be with us.

Where they are is dependent on their soul evolution at this time, or that time. But they are usually accessible via "T-mail", haha..."telepathic mail," anytime we think to connect with them, for sure.

Sometimes (rarely) soul's are very involved in their processing and aren't available to connect with us. Don't let that dismay you! They are just processing and are where they are supposed to be. But you can connect to their guardian angel who will intercede with you, even if your loved one can't directly. Again, this is very rare.
