hello everyone

i recently sent an email to david asking a few questions about topics such as cosmic consciousness, the montuak experiments, 2012 etc.

as david is obviously very busy with his work, he invited me to join this forum so i could ask you people about my questions and perhaps gain some more insights

some of you may recall the radio interview with mr. wilcock on coast to coast.

what i found very interesting was when david covered the information regarding the 'montuak experiments'.

david was describing how people would hit what they called- "the bump" in these experiments, be overwhelm by some sort of energy, then they would shift into a state of cosmic consciousness, great awe, knowledge etc. be able to know whatever they chose to etc. etc.

i was not personally involved in the montuak experiments but experienced a similar event to the one described above- where i was overwhelmed and, during meditation, shifted into a great void of light. all there was, was light everywhere, with no trace of darkness at all. very intense light, you could even say infinitely bright.
there was also a great sense of eternity- as if this was the real reality, not just for 'me' but everything in the whole cosmos, very impersonal- yet apparently others around me did not recall the event as i did.

in this state it was as if i 'knew' everything, like a sense of omniscience- yet now that i am back in 'this reality' or 'matrix' i am just ordinary once more.

i was wondering if there was anyone out there who has any insights into what occurred here, as i am told that there are many who have experienced this 'state'.
it would be great to hear your opinions about what this light is and perhaps read about others' similar experiences.

some people say that this powerful light is a gateway. some say it is the fundamental nature of consciousness. some even say it is god.

i have seen this light. it was at a time of very intense emotion. i went off to be by myself and had an experience similar to what you describe. it did not last very long, but it was extremely intense and its memory has remained with me for almost twenty years now.

it would be great to hear your opinions about what this light is

my guess is that it's what ra is talking about when they say "the contact with intelligent infinity is most likely to produce an unspeakable joy in the entity experiencing such contact."

i had a smiliar event happen to me back in june 26, 1999. the only way i am able to describe it is, "i had a spiritual cleansing/awakening."

thats strange cause i experienced it around the same time, the same year.

i can't say that i have 'seen the light', except metaphorically, but my 'spiritual awakening' also happened around this time, june 9th 1999, to be exact. that was around the middle of carl calleman's 'day 1' of the 'galactic underworld', his interpretation of the mayan calendar. i wonder how many of us 'woke up' around that time.
