    dear david,

not only could the ‘hexagon’ on saturn represent an icosahedron, it could also represent a dodecahedron!!! (as strange as this may sound at first).

if you carefully look at the pictures of the ‘hexagon’ you may notice that at the vertices a short edge of around Ľ of the edge of the regular hexagon can be observed. it gives the impression that the hexagon has ‘rounded’ vertices.
take a careful look at the left vertice in the first picture:

    http://www.esa.int/specials/cassini-...m5t4lze_1.html

also the black and white picture on the bottom of this page shows this feature clearly. so it seems there are more than 6 vertices in this ‘perfect’ hexagon.

what it could represent is the top view of a dodecahedron observed from an angle that will give it its ‘hex view’:

    http://www.zayra.de/soulcom/physicsofphi/image26.gif

since the icosahedron and the dodecahedron are duals they can be nested into an ico-dodeca alternating fractal geometry. this geometry implodes from large to small scale and describes the geometry of a vortex as has been demonstrated by dan winter.

this geometry then may explain why we see ‘nested’ hexagons on saturn which in reality are nested icosa-dodeca fractals. the fact that the nested ‘hexagons’ on saturn do not align but are slightly rotated when you go down from one hexagon to the other, may be an indication that we’re dealing with this kind of fractal geometry.

the north pole of saturn shows the icosa-dodeca geometry because here the vortex implodes to a zero point while at the south pole this geometry gets blurred because of a widening of the funnel of the vortex.

you can read more on this icosa-dodeca fractal from the work of dan winter here: http://www.zayra.de/soulcom/physicso...sicsofphi.html

    this is my five cents.

    regards

    the violent history of mars
    tom van flandern
    meta research <tomvf@metaresearch.org>

    abstract.

with overwhelming evidence now available for the basic correctness of the exploded planet hypothesis, questions arise about the details of the most recent such explosions responsible for shaping mars and its orbit as we know them today. this study shows that the basic scenario suggested by the evidence and described previously stands up under rigorous scrutiny despite the improbability of passing these new tests by chance. and it allows us to derive specific information about the properties and history of the bodies involved that could only be guessed at heretofore. the solution we adopt is not unique, but satisfies all previous constraints and leads to the present day orbit and rotation period of mars. “planet v”, the original parent of mars, was apparently of “helium class”, a proposed new class of planets. it had an estimated mass of 2.4 earth masses, a circular solar orbit at about 1.5 au from the sun, and two “twin” moons. the inner moon, which later became today’s planet mars, originally had a circular satellite orbit with a period of 20 hours. tidal locking made that its spin period as well. outer moon “body c” originally had a circular satellite orbit with a period of 40 hours and a mass of 86% of that of mars. following the explosion of planet v 65 million years ago, body c and mars were left in a mutual, highly eccentric, prograde satellite orbit while continuing to orbit the sun on an altered solar orbit. tidal evolution continued until the explosion of body c 3.2 million years ago, leaving mars alone in its present solar orbit with relatively high eccentricity for a planet and a prograde rotation period of 1.026 days. mars today shows the many scars that exhibit this violent history, seen dramatically in the accompanying video.

    overview

a recent review article showed that evidence for the exploded planet hypothesis (eph) scenario is pervasive and deep. [[1]] especially telling are the many successful predictions of the hypothesis against all odds: satellites of asteroids; satellites of comets; salt water in meteorites; “roll marks” leading to boulders on asteroids; the time and peak rate of the 1999 leonid meteor storm; explosion signatures for asteroids; strongly spiked energy parameter for new comets; distribution of black material on slowly rotating airless bodies; splitting velocities of comets; the asteroid-like nature of deep impact target comet tempel 1; and the presence of high-formation-temperature minerals in the stardust comet dust sample return. this research report assumes the basic eph is established and seeks to find out more about the now-exploded bodies involved in the two most recent events that have left behind the most surviving evidence.

    jupiter's tumultuous changes
    april 11, 2007by sean walker

times, they are a-changin' on jupiter. the planet is now shining in fine view in the southern sky before dawn, and as first noted earlier this year by amateurs around the globe, jupiter's familiar dark cloud belts and bright zones are in the midst of a facelift. john rogers, director of the british astronomical association's jupiter section, reports that several different latitudes on the planet are showing rapidly developing phenomena.

the new white spots noted on march 29th by zac pujic have now spread out within the north tropical zone (ntrz) and the north temperate belt (nteb), disturbing a long swath of the thin, almost invisible nteb. these spots are bright at all wavelengths from ultraviolet to near-infrared, implying that their cloud tops extend to a high altitude.

Default An Unknown Planet Orbits in the Outer Solar System?

an unknown planet orbits in the outer solar system
    by julian kane (juliankane@optonline.net)
earth and planetary scientist, professor (retired)
    hofstra university

a theory is hereby proposed that an unknown mega-massive planet has, for billions of years, been orbiting at 77.2 au from the sun --- within a 44 au-wide, virtually empty great void that surrounds the kuiper belt (one au = 93 million miles, the mean earth-sun distance). the void is postulated to have been formed by strong gravitational attraction of the unknown planet having removed all ckbos (classical kuiper belt objects) that had existed previously in the vicinity of the massive planet's huge orbit.

the kuiper belt is a doughnut-shaped, 10 au-wide region surrounding the regular planets that contains possibly trillions of small ckbos, with some larger than pluto. ckbos, which make up approximately 70 percent of the known kbos (kuiper belt objects), orbit the sun in nearly circular paths that are typically within the ecliptic, the general plane of the solar system. kbos are primordial planetesimals that had not coalesced to form planets billions of years ago. some ckbos, known as rkbos (resonant kuiper belt objects), have been pulled by neptune's gravity into orbits which resonate with that planet's 165-year orbital period. these comprise about 20 percent of all kbos. the scattered kuiper belt objects (skbos) are ckbos that have been perturbed into highly eccentric, extremely inclined orbits, and they make up roughly 10 percent of the kbos within the belt. a small number of skbos apparently are the only objects that remain within the great void surrounding the kuiper belt. they may have been near aphelion and far away enough to have avoided being captured whenever the unknown planet had orbited into a suitable position to acquire them.

    report #118
    april 22, 2007

the above first image evidence is not something that i would normally report on simply because i doubt that very many would be able to distinguish this from geological terrain. this type of evidence is common in the mars distant obfuscated satellite imaging. i pass over reporting on evidence like this often because i suspect many would see this as just too inconclusive. yet it is biological life and it is included in this report because it is present in this strip and it demonstrates yet another example of a different looking mars forest life bio-diversity.

this section of evidence comes from the mid-upper area of the original strip. nothing that you are looking at in this larger than my normal size image is geological rock and soil terrain but rather a forest of flourishing densely packed life. more specifically the darker material is some kind of finer smaller textured and pattern biological life engulfing this terrain area. unfortunately, the massed individual objects in the darker material are too small and the resolution too poor to allow determining any more about it than that.

then there is the larger more course light reflective evidence you see above. it may be a different life form erupting out of this biological sea of life via spout or plume activity on top of the finer texture evidence to establish its own presence like a collection of individual islands in this area. on the other hand, it may simply be the same darker fine textured life but seen as a permanent spout/plume/bloom function making a transition to another stage of development. we just don't know and, as is often the case, the visual evidence often raises more questions than it answers.

remember though that this is not earth but another world with its own unique evolutionary paths. as you will come to know in this evidence record, some of those paths are very unique and unknown to us. often they take the form of spouts/plumes or blooms that may be temporary or even semi-permanent to permanent in nature establishing different looking structures. in any case, so much for that, let's move on now in the following images to the principle evidence and reason for this report.

    Default The Face Of 2007

    dear friends,

    the face of 2007

on the 11th april 2007 the mars reconnaissance observer (mro) team published the first high resolution image of "a popular landform in cydonia" on their website, (see µµµ).

according to comments from the mro team the "face" image is one of the poorest quality images taken by the mro to date. although the image is not up to the usual crystal clear quality of almost all mro pictures, the resolution of 11 inches to each screen pixel is still more revealing than the 2001 images taken by the mars global surveyor (mgs) spacecraft.

the full resolution mro face image comes in at a massive 300 megabytes and in a special format called jpeg 2000. these are far beyond the capability of my existing computer. fortunately paul mccarthy has kindly supplied me with a compressed version of the image, which has allowed me to pick out the most salient features.

as cydonia quest has a limited amount of web space i've decided to limit the following analysis to two small example areas indicated on the context image below.

yes, probably. and i expect that many planets including venus will have a polar revearsal. currently its spin is the opposite of earth.
