    a new planet?

    http://afp.google.com/article/aleqm5...a_axh9m51mrqcg

tokyo (afp) — scientists at a japanese university said thursday they believed another planet up to two-thirds the size of the earth was orbiting in the far reaches of the solar system.

the researchers at kobe university in western japan said calculations using computer simulations led them to conclude it was only a matter of time before the mysterious "planet x" was found.

"because of the very cold temperature, its surface would be covered with ice, icy ammonia and methane," kobe university professor tadashi mukai, the lead researcher, told afp.

the study by mukai and researcher patryk lykawka will be published in the april issue of the us-based astronomical journal.

"the possibility is high that a yet unknown, planet-class celestial body, measuring 30 percent to 70 percent of the earth's mass, exists in the outer edges of the solar system," said a summary of the research released by kobe university.

"if research is conducted on a wide scale, the planet is likely to be discovered in less than 10 years," it said...

    dark halos discovered on mercury
    03.07.2008

march 7, 2008: the surprises continue. scientists studying the harvest of photos from the messenger spacecraft's jan. 14th flyby of mercury have found several craters with strange dark halos and one crater with a spectacularly shiny bottom.

"the halos are really exceptional," says messenger science team member clark chapman of the southwest research institute in boulder, colorado. "we've never seen anything like them on mercury before and their formation is a mystery."

    the eye of the hurricane
the puzzling 'eye of a hurricane' on venus
    13 march 2008

venus express has constantly been observing the south pole of venus and has found it to be surprisingly fickle. an enormous structure with a central part that looks like the eye of a hurricane, morphs and changes shape within a matter of days, leaving scientists puzzled.

the eye of the hurricane is at the centre of a 2000 km-wide vortex. it was discovered in 1974 by the mariner 10 spacecraft. there is a similar structure on the planet’s north pole, which was observed by the pioneer venus mission in 1979.

venus express scientists have been studying the structure in the thermal infrared, the wavelength range which reveals the temperature at the cloud-tops. seen in this wavelength, the core of the vortex appears very bright, probably indicating that a lot of atmospheric gases are moving downward in the region, which creates a depression at the cloud-tops, making the region hotter.

    venus's polar vortex

“simply put, the enormous vortex is similar to what you might see in your bathtub once you have pulled out the plug” says giuseppe piccioni, co-principal investigator for the visible and infrared thermal imaging spectrometer (virtis) on venus express, at iasf-inaf, rome, italy.

    Lightbulb Expanding Earthsync

    gosh!

i just posted a new thread on expanding earth by neil adams........i'll track the threads for davids promise he would be back on that.....earth not having an ironcore and all that...my mars uranusconjunction today reflects sudden surprises and discoveries and impatience with slow motion....excuse me for not having read the whole thread through..i will

transit mars conj uranus, venus trine uranus, sun trine sun, mercury 135 neptune today and neptune square mercury, trine moon together with sun-solarreturn neptune...no wonder i feel like i've ascended into the diviecosmos already.

i love the planets and i don't regard them as dead objects anymore merely acting as chessmen on the synchronicityboard, but also as living entities......

just had to burst into this personal comment

Default Present Day Mud Flows on Mars - Liquid water is active on the surface of Mars today

    dear friends,

mud means water and water means there's life as we know it...

    http://xenotechresearch.com/newflow1.htm

    be well, be love.

    david

present day mud flows on mars
liquid water is active on the surface of mars today

evidence from the opportunity rover shows that the soil is acting in the same manner as mud, and that many flow features and geyser vents appear in this particular area. now i have images from two different sols showing changes in the soil that are only reasonably created through the action of liquid water.

images from one area on the rim of endurance crater show where the soil was analyzed by the mossbäuer spectrometer, and the print that was left by the instrument in the soil. a characteristic round-shaped print is left by the metal ring on the front of the spectrometer when it is in contact with a soft surface. first, let's examine the area before the instrument was used and see the soil and its shape.

    report #136
    march 24, 2008
    joseph p. skipper
    j. p. skipper can be contacted at: jskipper@marsanomalyresearch.com

this reporting is sourced from only one mgs moc r08-01745 narrow-angle strip and will be a bit different. the location of the evidence is well out midway in the south polar region below and out from the cap in mars chart 30. this reporting is about biological growth and it is characterized by a finer texture relative to other larger more gross size growth forms. this type of growth is very easy to hide in this satellite imaging by employing the prevalent distancing technique and tampering with the image resolution a bit and so it is very rare to get a halfway decent look at it.

the distancing tactical causes the image strip to be physically very narrow and that is the case with this strip. this tends to merge finer textured bio-life into a unrecognizable visually fused mass with no or at least insufficient individual detail. as i explore this data, i see this over and over again countless thousands of times and have to move on because i know that the evidence is too visually compromised for most viewers to recognize and they would regard it as ambiguous. however, with that experience also comes the knowledge of what just might rarely show sufficient revealing detail (with a little graphics clarification work) and that is the case here with this strip.

this strip has been subjected to the usual distancing obfuscation tactical and the resolution has also been compromised so much that the strip will not allow very much zoom factor before quickly encountering pixelation. however, the evidence, while still being finer textured relative to other larger forms that will be seen in my upcoming book evidence, is just large enough at a slight 107% zoom factor to resists the compromising tactics enough to be adequately seen. so what i've done is start in the upper part of the straight .gif strip and work down it with my image crop outs with each one adjacent to the other end to end with no missed gaps.

so i'm going to just present four images one after the other below. each will be a split screen two panel image. the left panel will represent the upper scene from one side edge of the strip to the other and the right panel will represent the scene immediately below and adjacent to it. as you view from left to right in each split screen panel you will be traveling down the strip with no gaps. likewise each next split screen image of the four shown here will represent the next lower scene/section in the strip.

now understand that each of these four images is of a very high file size even though they are medium compressed .jpeg for saving space for presentation here on the web. that means that each will be slow loading and particularly for those of you on a dial-up connection and why there are only four images presented here. that very high file size comes from the graphics software counting a lot of individual objects down there even if the human eye tends to be overwhelmed with detail tending to want to merge it all into a single mass.

that human eye/brain tendency is also why i have presented this evidence in this sectioned way trying to minimize the overwhelm and merge effect. just remember that the left panel is the upper field of view and the right panel is the scene immediately below and adjacent to it and the scenes are comprehensive from one side edge of the strip to the other. the official statistics tell us that the strip view is 2.94 km or 1.83 miles across and so that is theoretically the view in each split panel below.
