"one of the most bizarre weather patterns known has been photographed at saturn, where astronomers have spotted a huge, six-sided feature circling the north pole.

rather than the normally sinuous cloud structures seen on all planets that have atmospheres, this thing is a hexagon.

the honeycomb-like feature has been seen before. nasa's voyager 1 and 2 spacecraft imaged it more than two decades ago. now, having spotted it with the cassini spacecraft, scientists conclude it is a long-lasting oddity.

"this is a very strange feature, lying in a precise geometric fashion with six nearly equally straight sides," said kevin baines, atmospheric expert and member of cassini's visual and infrared mapping spectrometer team at nasa's jet propulsion laboratory, pasadena, calif. "we've never seen anything like this on any other planet. indeed, saturn's thick atmosphere, where circularly-shaped waves and convective cells dominate, is perhaps the last place you'd expect to see such a six-sided geometric figure, yet there it is."

the hexagon is nearly 15,000 miles (25,000 kilometers) across. nearly four earths could fit inside it. the thermal imagery shows the hexagon extends about 60 miles (100 kilometers) down into the clouds.

at saturn's south pole, cassini recently spotted a freaky human eye-like feature that resembles a hurricane.

"it's amazing to see such striking differences on opposite ends of saturn's poles," said bob brown, team leader of the cassini visual and infrared mapping spectrometer at the university of arizona. "at the south pole we have what appears to be a hurricane with a giant eye, and at the north pole of saturn we have this geometric feature, which is completely different."

the hexagon appears to have remained fixed with saturn's rotation rate and axis since first glimpsed by voyager 26 years ago. the actual rotation rate of saturn is still uncertain, which means nobody knows exactly how long the planet's day is.

"once we understand its dynamical nature, this long-lived, deep-seated polar hexagon may give us a clue to the true rotation rate of the deep atmosphere and perhaps the interior," baines said. "

personally, i've read portions of david's divine cosmos book in the past, but not the whole thing, nor understood it completely.

however, i have recently read a few physical books on sacred geometry, but my general feeling about the harmonics of the universe is this:

hexagons, squares, various other geometric shapes occur throughout nature, especially in micro crystalline structures, usually on the "micro" level because certain forces on that level behave in a regular way that causes them to occur.

now, for this shape to occur on the "macro" level (several times the size of earth), it indicates to me, that universe, the fabric of space itself, must have harmonics that are as-yet unrecognized by modern science, as, our understanding of the structure of nature is limited to our understanding that all large systems apparently move towards disorder, entropy.

this shows that that view is indeed, not entirely correct.
as above, so below. god shows us the inherent harmonic geometric structures he created, from waves of light, to molecular structures, dna, all the way up this hexagon on mars.

very well put. the point we keep stressing is that there is a fluid-like energy field that is outside our measurable three-dimensional reality, and without this field, matter, biology and consciousness -- all aspects of the universe itself -- could not exist.

dr. hans jenny's cymatics research, as well as experiments of dr. buckminster fuller, showed that vibration and sacred geometry are one and the same. geometry is simply a visual representation of the structure of a vibrating fluid.

in this case the planets display geometric patterns because they have 'central oscillators' within them -- luminous plasma, not iron cores -- which set up standing waves in the 'aether' that have a geometric form. this geometry then impinges upon the exterior structure.

it's not rocket science and i put the whole thing together in the third convergence book, divine cosmos.

expect a post soon where i shed new light on the interior structure of the earth, and new revelations about the exterior as well...

i have a lot of things to say, and i'm not sure if i should add a new thread, so i'm just going to say them here.

first a little background

- my first real metaphysical love was astrology. i've been interested in astrology for a very long time, i see it as a beautiful, amazing way to describe human personalities, and is a great lens to use when exploring any type of myth, as there tends to be a lot of similarity between astrology throughout the world, as well as zodiacs. also, i now recognize that the aspects between planets, which are the angular separation between them on the horoscope, also form regular geometric figures. the most commonly used are called conjunction(being together on the chart) opposition (180 degrees) trine(120) square (90) quintile (72) and sextile (60). some of these are harmonious, others are disharmonious.

-next came reading a lot about obe's and astral planes, lucid dreaming, that affirmed for me the existence of the afterlife. i've really only had probably 1-2 successful obe's, although when i had a lot of partial separations, and felt amazingly intense vibrations from it.
-recent my interest has been in geometry, and i read a couple books on the meanings of the numbers 1-10, and about the elements (which i already knew about from astrology)

-also now, i'm interested a lot in various religions, particularly cabala and that of christianity, especially of the gnostic variety.


most of what i've thought about has been concerned with finding connections between things, as applies to religion, geometry, etc. these things help me to understand the universality of things.

for now i have a few things to say. first, as far as geometry is considered, i know that geometry accounts for a massive amount of religious symbols, but i would like to explore the vesica piscis. simply two circles of equal size, whose outer walls touch the center of the other, the inner part of the vesica piscis can be used to perfectly draw all regular polygons. the way this works is that points are formed by the intersections of the lines, and by the center of the circles. sometimes additional circles of the same size need to be drawn though. still, drawing lines between points created by circles allows us to draw all of the polygons.

i was wondering, perhaps, could a sphere do the same for the 3d equivalents of the regular polygons? if so, this would demonstrate that moving a sphere, aka vibration, could create all of the shapes. i'm not sure if this is correct or not though, perhaps you're better at visualization than me?

anyways, the piscis is also the basic unit for the flower of life, from which we can create the tree of life, and additionally, the platonic solids as well. you can read more by reading http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/flower_of_life it links to the simpler units of the flower as well.


also i felt if interesting to note, that seeing as vibrations are numbers moving though time, and geometry moves through space. (represented by progressing waves and standing waves respectively) both are defined by e=mc2.

as far as my knowledge of elements is concerned, platonic and vedic ones are the same (air, fire, water, earth). however, vedic also has akasha, from which they believe the other elements were created. the greeks called it quintessence, and you call it the aether.

i'l perhaps have more to say eventually, various thoughts are still growing in my head...

you will see just how the recently discussed hexagonal shape on the north pole of saturn might be formed and why also the south pole is simply a vortex. the rotation of saturn's north pole is the fulcrum upon which everything else rotates. imagine what would happen on earth if it has the viscous gases saturn has or its mass. ask yourself "when would the circular patterns of the clouds on earth (a much smaller sphere) become like that of saturn?" read the article and ponder it for a moment. fascinating what you learn from planet #6 in our beautiful solar system and interesting that it displays a hexagonal (6-sided) pattern on it marking it as such.

what an amazing universe we live in.

ironically i had just listened to hoagland's thursday appearance on coast today, and then immediately called him and had an hour-plus conversation after i finished listening... and this water-rotating study came up on the show. i asked him to send me a link, expected it would be there, and he hadn't sent it... but you had.

it's not the be-all-and-end-all study, because it's only 2d, and it's basically another iteration of cymatics (which is still more potent because it reveals that the platonic solids are simply fluid vibrations in three dimensions)... but that doesn't change the fact that it's still valuable. richard might see it as a hyperdimensional bleed-through caused by rotation, whereas i am prone to see it as a natural consequence of vibration in a fluid creating a resonance pattern... all very 3d in this case.

in fact, richard proposed we do a show on this hexagon story... since i'm the only person out there who took this aspect of what he started and further built on it and expanded it. the hexagon is now firmly in the collective consciousness thanks to it being linked on drudge - and what's even more exciting is that it is multi-layered. in fact it gave me an epiphany about how platonics interact in a planetary system.

you're mostly correct. all the platonic solids can be formed by what are called "close-packed spheres" - the closest they can nestle together, depending on how many you have, will create the various platonics.

rather than moving a sphere, it has more to do with the one sphere that is vibrating, (more technically pulsating) and then the original sphere becomes a "wavelength" in 3d that continues iterating... thus forming the entire universe.

i believe that the hexagon on saturn may be the top view of the underlying icosahedron.

as with masaru emoto's hexagonal water where he's photographed hexagonal shaped ice crystals, the underlying structure of the water clusters is icosahedral.

a recent theory by martin chaplin professor of applied science water and aqueous systems research of the london south bank university demonstrates that water molecules can arrange themselves in various structures and configurations based on the icosahedron. the most amazing structure is a super icosahedral structure that exists of 13 smaller icosahedral structures with a total of 1820 water molecules.

yes... that particular water study is another one of those that exists in the huge convergence research archive (along with others like it) that just hasn't gotten written up yet.

the point about the icosahedron is a very good one. i'd realized that before, forgotten it, and you gave me a timely recall. you can even see, in some of the original shots, how there are straight lines (at times) from the edges of the hexagon to the center -- totally in accordance with an icosahedron.

it's certainly the path of least resistance becuase so little of the current model needs changing to fit the data. the next logical question would be if the width of the 'nested' hexagons keeps expanding rapidly enough as you go down to account for the width increase of that geometry -- but it is a very good fit.

now i'll have to work up a geometric diagram of saturn. it seems that the aetheric flow pattern is going in through the south pole and out through the north pole, predominantly, and that slightly pushes the icosahedral wave out of perfect alignment with the planet itself -- thus accounting for the asymmetry we are seeing (since there is no hexagon on the opposite pole). hoagland had brought up this point on the phone and how it ties in with the data from kozyrev.

ah, the synchronicity of today continues. let me connect a few more things up that you all helped me to link up about water, the hexagon shape, saturn, and light.

let me first start off with what is known as the “kissing” principle of a sphere here, if you haven’t heard of it already. basically, it goes like this. in a 2d worldview, you can put exactly 6 spheres (of the same size) around a central one (of the same size as the 6 spheres surrounding it) where each sphere has a single point that touches (i.e. kisses) the central sphere. in a 3d view, you can put exactly 12 spheres around a central one with each one having a single point that touches the central sphere. see http://plus.maths.org/issue23/features/kissing/

i would venture to guess that depending on which sphere is/spheres are activated by any light and/or electro-magnetic source that an icosahedron or a hexagonal shape can be produced (within a group of spheres about a main “core” sphere) and energy transmitted via the resultant shape’s boundary lines via em fields running through it. funny how an icosahedron resembles the vortex of a tornado, isn’t it? perhaps the formation of this hexagon on saturn is related to the 20-year and or 60-year grand cycle of jupiter and saturn???

jan: when i saw your website http://www.soulsofdistortion.nl/water4.html and read the text about zero point energy, i saw something beyond what you had already written there. water has some very interesting principles. unlike most other substances, which normally reflect, refract, and absorb light, i believe that water gives us a better glimpse of what light really is. (note: it seems that in 3d we don’t get to really see light but rather we see objects as they appear to reflect, refract, or absorb light). in other words, we don’t get to see inside the “black box of light” but see only the results of what comes out of that black box in our everyday world.

if you go to http://www.coralcastlecode.com/id1.html and note the text around figure k in particular (you might have to scroll a good bit down the page), it states “water has the ability to capture the neutral particles of sunlight in which the north and south pole magnets orbit as a common core.” so basically water allows us to actually see more about light than is possible via most other substances.

in looking closely at a water molecule (especially that of a frozen water molecule such as seen in hado water photos) you will see the tubes that connect each center. are these not magnetic structures in nature being shown to us via a simple water molecule in its geometry? these little hexagonal water molecules connect up and help keep the consciousness of their source alive and extend beyond their original bounds into a network of little crystals? is it not all about electro-magnetism interacting through matter which has specific geometries (i.e. planets being roughly sphereical or elliptical)? this is why when you drink water that has been charged with sunlight that it seems to have more healing properties and why the various brand name flower essence remedies and ancient oils put out in sunlight seem to have almost magical properties. they are infused with something you normally don’t find in other substances! wonder isn’t it why our bodies are made up of mostly water.

hopefully i am making sense here to you all with what i am trying to get across.
