    Default History in the Remaking

interesting news article about gobekli tepe.

a temple complex in turkey that predates even the pyramids is rewriting the story of human evolution.

they call it potbelly hill, after the soft, round contour of this final lookout in southeastern turkey. to the north are forested mountains. east of the hill lies the biblical plain of harran, and to the south is the syrian border, visible 20 miles away, pointing toward the ancient lands of mesopotamia and the fertile crescent, the region that gave rise to human civilization. and under our feet, according to archeologist klaus schmidt, are the stones that mark the spot—the exact spot—where humans began that ascent.

this is great news. all these new discoveries are truly shedding light on the earths history and its importance for all. i have a feeling, with all the knowledge gathered by scientists and archeologists, that soon it will be known among the world what these sacred sites were used for. from loo, ra stated these were somewhat 'out of tune', due to the polar shift and gradual deteriation over time. i wonder if that when the pole shift realines the earth to its origional direction, will the pyramids of the world also re attune?

if this is so, and the knowledge of their use discovered by all, i believe there could be a mass reconstruction of sorts in order that they may be used for the initial purpose they were given before they were miss used. im not too sure if it would matter so much for the human race, but more so the earth in general, as we have changes of our own at hand.
thank you for sharing the info.

    harmony to all

there is no listing for the 'bosnian pyramids' as a unesco world heritage site:

also, the third picture down, the one that resembles the latin american pyramids, is a doctored version of the fourth photo. the left foreground of both pictures (see the bottom left corner of the supposed pyramid) dont match up.

fishy but intriguing. i must admit there are some suspiciously straight edges there. its a bit tainted by false claims and misleading photography.

mass (reuters) - a u.s.-led research team may have finally located the lost city of atlantis, the legendary metropolis believed swamped by a tsunami thousands of years ago in mud flats in southern spain.

"this is the power of tsunamis," head researcher richard freund told reuters.

"it is just so hard to understand that it can wipe out 60 miles inland, and that's pretty much what we're talking about," said freund, a university of hartford, connecticut, professor who lead an international team searching for the true site of atlantis.

to solve the age-old mystery, the team used a satellite photo of a suspected submerged city to find the site just north of cadiz, spain. there, buried in the vast marshlands of the dona ana park, they believe that they pinpointed the ancient, multi-ringed dominion known as atlantis.

god had a wife, asherah, whom the book of kings suggests was worshiped alongside yahweh in his temple in israel, according to an oxford scholar.

in 1967, raphael patai was the first historian to mention that the ancient israelites worshiped both yahweh and asherah. the theory has gained new prominence due to the research of francesca stavrakopoulou, who began her work at oxford and is now a senior lecturer in the department of theology and religion at the university of exeter...

Default Scientists To Drill Deeper Than Ever Before, Hope To Sample Mantle

"scientists say it's now possible to drill through earth's crust and potentially sample earth's mantle, according to a commentary in the march 24 issue of nature. the piece came out on the 50th anniversary of the first attempt to drill into the mantle."

"the drilling would also give the scientists an opportunity to learn more about the shadowy "moho" layer, which lies between the crust and the mantle. "we know what the happens to seismic waves as they cross the moho, but we don't know what it is," teagle told national geographic."

new mineral discovered on antarctic meteorite

"a meteorite discovered in antarctica in 1969 has just divulged a modern secret: a new mineral, now called wassonite.

the new mineral found in the 4.5-billion-year-old meteorite was tiny — less than one-hundredth as wide as a human hair. still, that was enough to excite the researchers who announced the discovery tuesday, april 5.

"wassonite is a mineral formed from only two elements, sulfur and titanium, yet it possesses a unique crystal structure that has not been previously observed in nature," nasa space scientist keiko nakamura-messenger said in a statement.

Default Satellites discover lost Egyptian pyramids

"in a new documentary soon to air on bbc, space archaeologist sarah parcak from the university of alabama in birmingham shares her recent discovery in the relatively new field of space archaeology. with the use of satellites and infra-red imaging, parcak and her team have discovered 17 lost pyramids, over 1,000 tombs and 3,000 ancient settlements in egypt.

using nasa satellites orbiting 435 miles above earth that were equipped with cameras capable of pinpointing objects less than three feet in diameter on the earth’s surface, parcak and her team were able to identify materials that where just under the earth’s surface."
