how many "dark night of the soul" experiences does one
have to go through in an incarnation?

i am under the impression that the proverbial "dark
night of the soul" is a circumstance, or series of
them, to create catalyst for growth and polarity,
regardless of your initial orientation coming into
this incarnation. it's just hard for me to accept that
there is one pivotal moment or circumstance (or a set
of circumstances) that "changes everything"..........
and you suddenly "understand it all"......... i would
think that it is like climbing a mountain pass,
thinking you have reached it's summit, only to realize
when getting to that spot that there are several more
passes ahead of you to climb (but at least you can
take a moment to enjoy the view before moving
on........... right?)

could we revisit the definition of "dark night of the
soul?"

could we revisit the definition of a "negative
greeting?"

are there major differences between the two, or are we
spiritually talking about the difference between a
"splash" and a "ripple" in our
consciousness/development/growth?

(i know it's probably in the archives here in the
group, or on l/l somewhere, but i just do not have the
physical time to search that right now......maybe at
least not for the next few weeks anyway....... i'm
still doing double-time here in 3d-land, but i hope to
seriously get back into this forum & all this juicy
metaphysical stuff.........!!)
