hey there,

as you may remember i've been spending the week here in austin tx at the
electric larryland studios - going through some enormous learning curves on a
whole new platform for co-creating music with larry seyer. it's been very busy
and there has been a lot to learn, but i feel very good about what we've
accomplished thus far. we've done 3 experimental songs to try out various studio
techniques and i don't know if we will use any of them but we just had fun.

i will be doing the "big drive" tomorrow, starting early. larry has also been
helping try to get us through the final phase of the website development - my
other programmer seemed to have hit a brick wall. i had almost gotten to the
point of not even thinking about when, or if, this would actually get done, and
i do apologize for that. larry and i should definitely get it running by later
in the week. the last hurdles have been crossed. our software does not yet
support streaming audio but we should be able to do mp3 downloads without a
problem - and as i said before, they're all about 5mb in size.

there are a lot of logistics going on right now as i am preparing to move to la
by the first of the year to be even more directly involved in the filmmaking
process. various options are being weighed out for how this is all going to
transpire. it is tiring but invigorating at the same time. once we get the audio
archive system up and running i intend to regularly create new readings that you
will be able to download and listen to. for those who don't want to subscribe to
the archive i'm sure there will be others who will transcribe the readings and
we can share them.

anyway, there's a lot more to do so i'll sign off. hope you are well.

peace be with you -

- david
