Messages/Reply To Messages
dear friends,
i've had to reject quite a few messages because the sender has included the
whole message which he/she is replying to or sent a message that was quite long.
when replying to a message please delete the "dead" text. you can include a few
sentences, but don't send the whole message that you are replying to. many in
this group receive their messages in "bulk" format and it's quite redundant for
them to receive a messsage over and over. there's also no "rule" as to how long
a message should be, but somewhere between 6-8 kb is enough. if you're not sure
how long your message/reply is send it to yourself first and then you will see
it's length in your mail box.
hope you all understand.
be well, be love.

Re: Messages/Reply To Messages
hi, chris...from your instructions i see now where i can find the
bytes of my message...used to be easier on my mac. i imagine i have
to do the message in word or my email then paste it in here rather
than try to compose directly in this manner as i'm doing now?? or
send it directly to asc2k@yahoogroups.com?
i just sent one that i did here and i couldn't check. if it exceeded
bounds my apologies. i'll learn eventually...i got used to sloppiness
from some other sites i have been on...in some ways it is good to be
able to carry the text so one doesn't have to go looking for the
original, but it can sure become overblown and irritating.
