Default Introduction to group from new member

    hello everyone,

my name is rusty. i am new to this group, as well as the ascension
2000.com site. i just bought david's book last week from a
bookstore. before that i'd never heard of him. i did ,however,
read some of the ra material and seth material quite a few years ago.
i must say that i am very impressed by everything i've read on
    david's website so far.
in 1990, i had an experience with "the light" that profoundly changed
me and my life forever. i cannot describe it except to say that i met
"god" or "christ" and he/she/it opened up a well of "living water",
which was love and light, inside of me. i was taken on a virtual
tour of the universe, and shown how much he/she/it loved everyone
and everything, and nothing was ever judged or condemned, only
loved, and i could never forget the indescribable bliss of that love
even if i lived forever and never felt it again. i have been walking
my path ever since. i am not a "christian" but i believe myself to
be a "disciple of christ". i don't fit in to any category that i know
of other than seeker and lightworker. i don't know anyone else like
me, so if any of you have had a similar experience, please share it.

to lealdragon - 51% service to others is not a measurement that you
will ever be able to ascertain. more often than not it is a stumbling
block or "ego trap" that the ego is more than willing to wallow in.
i say that from personal experience. service to self is ultimately
the same thing as service to others, since ultimately there is only
one "self" or consciousness. better to learn to love and accept
oneself first, that you may be better able to love and accept your
other selves. what is important is the choice to serve love and light
and to go about spreading that love and light to everyone you meet,
be they friend, family, stranger, or enemy, for ultimately they are
    all you!
    love and light,
    rusty

    hi rusty,

what an interesting background! must have been "something" to see all of
that??!! were you forever changed after the "experience?".....or had this been
    your path?

like you...i have found that loving oneself is the most important beginning and
that love then ..."goes forth"....to others or in the pebble motion....outward.
...or by using the golden rule...

also....i have found we came here to experience joy..and fun creating the most
delicious life possible....while "alowing" or respecting others to have their
fun creating with joy ...their own individual experiences......and that we will
all never agree and be completely the same...and that is how it is suppose to
be........ to continue to grow and change.....as we are "growth seeking"
beings.....always changing and learning as we continue to grow. we are
"attracted" to what/who is "like" us......

good stuff!! i love hearing about these type experiences....they give me a big
    boost too.

have you or anyone seen the move...i heart huckabees? it is about this very
subject you are speaking of rusty.....and as someone else was saying......the
movies are being used to teach spiritual ways.....as the media is controlled and
all sewn up and will not allow any of this to come out. it is awesome to see
    happening.

thanks!! ............nice to meet you....we are all one.

    annie,

thanks for your reply. sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you.
yes, it changed my life and completely changed me. i'm like a totally
    different person.
at the time i had just started seeking, so i didn't understand what
    was happening to me.
it was definitely a shock, to say the least. it's a long story, and
    maybe i'll tell it sometime,
but it would probably be more like a book.
thanks for the info on the movie. i'm going to find it and buy it!
it is very nice to meet you, annie
    talk to you again soon.
    love and light,
    rusty

    hello everyone,

i am so grateful to have found this group of like minds. and thank
you, rusty for pointing me in the direction of david's site. you
    truly are an angel.

i have been "suffering in silence", so to speak, since the
early '80s. not too many people that one can openly discuss this
sort of revelation with. i have always felt a sense
of "seperateness" from my birth family as though i really didn't
belong here. i remember as a child, i would sneak out at night and
look up at the sky and beg for someone to take me home. i didn't
understand why i felt that way, but the feeling of not belonging here
has never left me. i've tried to help people all of my life, but
only recently realized that i was trying to "help" in the wrong ways
for them and for me. this was an extremely painful experience.

my family and i moved into my husband's old family home out in the
country in 1997 and i've been experiencing the 11:11 phenomenon since
then. over the years, i've mentioned this to many people, but no one
was able to shed any light on it for me. thus, i've read
the "numbers on the clock" thread and am overwhelmed that so many
others are experiencing this very same phenomenon. the numbers i saw
most often were initially 2:22 and 3:33, but now it happens daily and
with more of the other repetative digits. and i always get a "good
feeling" about something just before this happens. i also read
    juli's article at:
    http://members.aol.com/seeingbelieving/chapter13.html
thank you for posting that juli.

and thank you to david wilcock for sharing your wondrous gifts and
experiences with all of us who have been wandering blindly through
    this labyrinth of existence.

    light and love to all,
    gypsy
