Search Engines/Google (Was: New Goemetry of Pavlita)

1) if you have enough hard drive space, i suggest downloading sites
onto one's computer cause you never know when that site will
mysteriously disappear, which seems to happen with some new age sites
i've came across. i bookmarked them. now they're dead pages.

2) a thought just crossed my mind. concerning google and the
possibility of going public or whatever. this isn't a linear thought,
so i can't come to a conclusion logically, but here it is anyways.
the thought of the government buying shares of google and somehow
ending up and somehow controlling the content, like certain sites not
showing up.

i have a question - when i went, that site was just a forum/message board
with excerpts posted. were there links on that page, or was that the content?
