Vital Service Opportunity: Transcription Volunteers?
hey group,
the time is now to get wednesday night's show transcribed. the response
to the show has been overwhelmingly positive, and the transcript could
increase its visibility to perhaps 20 million readers. we might even get
it on the coast site itself, which would be a real plus. i would like to
do the transcription myself but there are too many other things going
on, namely finishing parts 4 and 5 of the article series with richard.
the streamlink service on the coast-to-coast website now presents you
with the opportunity to download full hours of the show as
commercial-free mp3 files. they are 14.5 megs each. i have already
downloaded all three hours.
if you would like to volunteer, i'll give you an access code that will
allow you to have access to these files. this code will have to remain
confidential with those who receive it. obviously it is best if you have
high-speed internet access.
if we get three of you who want to do this, we'll have one do the second
hour, one do the third and one do the fourth, to make it faster. each
hour is really only about 42 minutes of transcription time.
any volunteers? :-)
peace be with you -
