    asc2k: guidelines for participation

asc2k is a group of individuals who communicate via email on topics related to
the work of david wilcock. we are all here because we are interested in his work
and how it relates to other information, personal experiences, etc. group
dynamics are prone to extremes, and these guidelines seek to define the common
ground upon which we can have meaningful and informative discussions about
    topics concerning wilcock's work.

    1. participants are asked to keep their posts on topic. possible topics include
mr. wilcock's written work, personal experiences and thoughts related to that
work, material upon which mr. wilcock has based his research (ra / the law of
one, seth, etc. - see the list of recommended reading materials in the "files"
section), and new scientific / empirical data related to mr. wilcock's research.
this is not an exhaustive list of proper topics, but it does give one a general
idea about what is considered "on topic". our intention is that members are here
to discuss this material and will have read at least a certain amount of the
ascension2000.com website. many basic philosophical questions and concerns can
be answered by reading the law of one study guide posted at
http://ascension2000.com/ra-studyguide.htm. this study guide is a distilled
document of all major points raised in the law of one series, and is highly
recommended as a prerequisite for list participation.

    2. your presence in this group comprises a tacit acceptance of our core values
and beliefs as set forth in mr. wilcock's work and the law of one series from
l/l research company. while skepticism and critical thinking are always useful
in the pursuit of knowledge, we cannot have meaningful discussions if we must
constantly defend our fundamentals against those who choose to disagree. if an
individual cannot approach the material with an open mind and respectful
demeanor, they will make others uncomfortable, and in turn may receive
uncomfortable responses. such skeptics will be unsubscribed from the group if
their criticism hurts the community spirit of the group.

    3. similarly, the new age, et, metaphysical, and alternative physics communities
are diverse, popular, and numerous. in order to have worthwhile discussion that
is beneficial to those who are interested in the material, we must restrict our
focus to topics that relate to our core mission. members who selfishly use the
list's common resources without regard for its members' shared interests may be
unsubscribed. this includes those who insist on promoting / showcasing
themselves, their own websites, philosophies, products, services or other
    unrelated teachings.

    4. we feel that the law of one represents a complete body of spiritual teaching,
which becomes increasingly useful the more that it is studied and applied. this
group is optimally designed for those who have made a free-will decision to
study the teaching and harmonize their own attitudes and behaviors with it,
instead of endlessly searching for more "new" teaching to read. be aware that
mr. wilcock and his associates receive large volumes of email each day, and when
a person "discovers" a new source of channeling they often email us and ask for
our opinion. the recommended reading list is a direct result of this broad
spectrum of feedback, and the vast majority of "popular" channeling is not
included, and thereby considered off-topic. such material is best discussed on
other message boards devoted to the study and integration of those particular
teachings. the question of one's personal journey in integrating the law of one
teachings is of extreme interest and importance for this group, thus leading to
practically limitless areas for personal sharing and participation in a "safe"
atmosphere of mutual trust and respect.

    5. spamming is strictly forbidden, and members who abuse the trust of the list
by spamming will be immediately banned, and their internet service provider
contacted regarding the nature of the abuse. using email addresses acquired on
the list to spam members privately is also forbidden. be aware that any
discussion of a product or service for sale, or of a website designed to sell
products or services, is forbidden, even if you do not directly profit from such
a discussion. if you feel that a particular product / service is uniquely
related to mr. wilcock's work and worthy of discussion, please email a moderator
privately before making any statements to the group.

    6. discussions that involve drugs and other intoxicating substances,
pornography, foul language, racial / sexual / national intolerance, hate speech,
politically subversive acts or planning, will obviously not be tolerated.

    7. "dead text" wastes bandwidth as well as disk space and reading time. also,
those who subscribe to the digest version are adversely affected by excessively
and unnecessarily long posts. when replying to a post, please remove all the
previous text that is not essential to the reply. this does slightly slow down
the speed with which you may respond to a post, as it requires you to manually
select this older text, either by dragging the mouse over the text while holding
down the left-click button or by moving the arrow keys on the keyboard over the
text while holding down the "shift" key, followed by hitting the "delete" or
"backspace" key thereafter in either case. every time you respond to a post,
your dead-text cleanup job should include all the advertising material at the
end of the post which is automatically added by yahoo each time that a post is
made. the moderation team may edit or reject posts that violate this guideline.
it only takes a few extra seconds but it makes a world of difference in the
    quality of our presentation.

    8. personal conversations should be conducted privately. although the majority
of our members are "lurkers" who do not regularly post, do remember that your
posts are going out to hundreds of people who may not find private jokes or
topics beneficial. try to keep posts on topic at all times.

    9. when sharing outside material with the list, please do it in the form of
links with summary paragraphs. posting long passages (i.e. more than 2 short
paragraphs) of outside text, regardless of relevance, is prohibited. we do ask
that you either summarize the content of the link in a paragraph of your own
words and / or with a single-paragraph excerpt from the text itself. "naked"
links, i.e. links without summary text, should be avoided, as most members do
not have the time to blindly research such links. if you are posting scientific
material that you feel may be uniquely useful to mr. wilcock for his research
efforts, it is all the more important that you make him aware of what the link
contains, or else he will likely never inspect it.

    10. membership is subject to approval by the moderation team. candidate members
who wish to subscribe to the list via a free email service (yahoo!, hotmail,
    etc.) must submit additional information to verify their identity;
specifically, their full name, address and telephone number. if the provided
phone number is not in service, the application will not be processed. this
information will only be used for verification of identity and will not be
released to any other party for any reason. this way, we prevent the list from
being exploited for commercial or other purposes not related to our guidelines.

    11. individual posts may be subject to approval by the moderation team. posts
    may be rejected without explanation.

    12. these guidelines are intended to help members participate on the list with
the least possible degree of difficulties. they do not limit the authority of
the moderator in any way. this list is private and participation constitutes
tacit acceptance of that authority, including the authority to accept and reject
applicants and their posts. while this may seem arbitrary, it is necessary to
preserve the character and usefulness of the list so that all may enjoy it.

    13. feel free to contact the moderators with questions and concerns.

    ------------------------------------------

    dear sirs/david wilcock/et al,

thank you for your guidlines and rules of
participation. i hope that i am in compliance with my
questions as copied and pasted below. i am assuming
that the guidline are sent as a formality only for
participation, but might assume otherwise as my
questions and discussion were not addressed? perhaps
it is forthcoming? it is my sincere desire to simply
further my understandings along my path, and that in
no way have i offended or stepped out of the boundries
outlined. with that in mind please allow me once again
    to attempt my question:
if indeed it is out of the bounds of discussion, good
sense, and/or common decency of conduct, i would only
ask for specific guidlines and reasons as to why, and
how i might comply for further particiption with this
fine group using this letter as example. thank you
once again. your time, efforrts, and considerations
    are valued.

    1st discussion
    1st/2nd density:
i have recently become intrigued with questions
involving 1st and 2nd density 'beingness' as regards
the ra matrial, and our possible need to experience
same. do we? on asking one ra student and scholar his
opinion, as stated below, it is his opinion that more
often than not "we", as man/3rd density beings, need
not experience anything as far down as 1st or 2nd
    density. here is our conversation:

question:are we to assume that "we" as present
3rd density entities, i.e. man, in fact need by
definition to initially inhabit 1st and subsequent 2nd
density first, before becoming 3rd? in other words,
were we by ra definition initially 1st density i.e
fire/air/earth/water,to then become 2nd density, as in
animal/plant/mineral, before becoming 3rd as in man?

answer: no.when the oneness fragmented, it did not
fragment from first density on upward, but rather
worked down to first density. so, there
have been beings that have never been down that far.
however, several law of one scholars speculate that
all beings must pass through the density of "the
choice" (i.e. third density) before they can graduate
to seventh density. so this wanderer path might well
be a requirement, at one time or another, in one's
    curriculum.

counter point: in session 37:3-12-81:don elkins asks:
questioner: you said that each 3rd density entity has
an higher self in 6th density which is moving to the
mind/body/spirit complex of the entity as needed. does
this higher self also evolve in growth through the
densities, beginning with the "first density", and
does each higher self have a corresponding higher self
    advanced in densities beyond it?

does this question not pre-suppose the idea that we in
fact do evolve from 1st through 7th, and have thus in
fact inhabited 1st and 2nd densities?

    2nd discussion
here is a qoute from the ra study guide, after which
    questions follow:

    15. the galaxies
definitions: 1. logos - a galactic level creator; the
creator of all the stars in a particular galaxy.
defines the natural laws of physics for that galaxy,
establishes its own ?personality? of deep-mind
archetypes and a form for consciousness to express
itself, such as the human bodily form: the template
for all evolution in this and neighboring galaxies.

    2. sub-logos = an entity whose physical body is a star
= a planetary level creator; the creator of all the
planets in a particular solar system.

    i. each galaxy is created by a different logos

ra: a logos may create what you call a star system or
a logos may create billions of star systems (i.e., a
galaxy), them are many different logos entities or
    creations. (b2, 13)

question: how much of the creation was crated by the
same logos that created this planet?

ra this planetary logos is a strong logos, creating
approximately 250 billion of your star systems for its
    creation. (b2, 13)

question: "earth": earth is a term used as a creative
principle, or sub-logos of the star/sun.
1.it is my understanding that our sun presumably
created "all" of the nine planets revolving around
"it" in our/it's solar system, and in it's orbit? did
the planetary sub-logos create it's moons, or was it
the logos/suns which simultaneously created the moons
    with it's planets?
    3. restating for another question:a logos of higher
being, according to the ra material(my understanding
of it) created all of the sub-logoi/suns.
would this galactic creator of the sub-logos/suns,
including our own, be termed the central sun? or is
"the central sun" defined as 'the original creator'?
certainly this would not be the first and primal
logos? something yet again created this galactic logos
responsible for creating this galaxy milky way? ra
refers to this logos as a "galactic level creator
logos"? certainly it stands to reason that this is not
the first and primal logos, and therefore i believe
this galactic level logos(creator of our 250 billion
suns in the milky way galaxy) is yet another fragment
of yet another logos above it. is this galactic level
creator termed the central sun, or is this term
reserved for the primary creator/god? if central sun
is interchangable for galactic creator logos, then are
there not presumably an infinite number of central
suns/galactic level creators, responsible for creating
an infinite number of galaxies as well, comprising the
    universe?
3.if so, might the central sun then not also have a
creator as well, and as such, does each central sun
perhaps not also have a central sun and so on upwards
    spriraling toward the infinite?

personally it seems to me that the way the system is laid out is
that there are an infinite number of you's all traversing the path
of the octave, therefore some of those selfs are transversing the
octave from the starting point of the first density and some from
higher densities. time and the eternal march of things seems to
become very ambiguous when viewed from an overall perspective. the
summation of you as a sub division of all that exists would then
have experienced the beingness of the first and second density but
from our individualized and seperated reference point of the 3rd
density it seems as though there is only 1 you that can only have a
single beginning point, thus the confusion in the area of what you
    spoke of.
now on the point of the logos, rememeber the infinite intelligence
expanded outwards into every point at the same time, thus all is
one. seeing this it seems to me that it is possible that the
creator expanded directly into the logos but i suppose it is also
possible that there is an infinite herarchy as in the progression of
    the octaves/and sub-octaves.

    9. when sharing outside material with the list, please do it in the form of

that you either summarize the content of the link in a paragraph of your own
words and / or with a single-paragraph excerpt from the text itself. "naked"

not have the time to blindly research such links. if you are posting scientific

information will only be used for verification of identity and will not be

    asc2k: guidelines for participation

asc2k is a group of individuals who communicate via email on topics related to
the work of david wilcock. we are all here because we are interested in his work
and how it relates to other information, personal experiences, etc. group
dynamics are prone to extremes, and these guidelines seek to define the common
ground upon which we can have meaningful and informative discussions about
    topics concerning wilcock's work.

    1. participants are asked to keep their posts on topic. possible topics include
mr. wilcock's written work, personal experiences and thoughts related to that
work, material upon which mr. wilcock has based his research (ra / the law of
one, seth, etc.

    7. "dead text" wastes bandwidth as well as disk space and reading time. also,
those who subscribe to the digest version are adversely affected by excessively
and unnecessarily long posts. when replying to a post, please remove all the
previous text that is not essential to the reply. this does slightly slow down
the speed with which you may respond to a post, as it requires you to manually
select this older text, either by dragging the mouse over the text while holding
down the left-click button or by moving the arrow keys on the keyboard over the
text while holding down the "shift" key, followed by hitting the "delete" or
"backspace" key thereafter in either case. every time you respond to a post,
your dead-text cleanup job should include all the advertising material at the
end of the post which is automatically added by yahoo each time that a post is
made. the moderation team may edit or reject posts that violate this guideline.

spectrum of feedback, and the vast majority of "popular" channeling is not
included, and thereby considered off-topic. such material is best discussed on
other message boards devoted to the study and integration of those particular
teachings. the question of one's personal journey in integrating the law of one
teachings is of extreme interest and importance for this group, thus leading to
practically limitless areas for personal sharing and participation in a "safe"
atmosphere of mutual trust and respect.

    5. spamming is strictly forbidden, and members who abuse the trust of the list
by spamming will be immediately banned, and their internet service provider
contacted regarding the nature of the abuse. using email addresses acquired on
the list to spam members privately is also forbidden. be aware that any
discussion of a product or service for sale, or of a website designed to sell
products or services, is forbidden, even if you do not directly profit from such
a discussion. if you feel that a particular product / service is uniquely
related to mr. wilcock's work and worthy of discussion, please email a moderator
privately before making any statements to the group.

    6. discussions that involve drugs and other intoxicating substances,
pornography, foul language, racial / sexual / national intolerance, hate speech,
politically subversive acts or planning, will obviously not be tolerated.

    10. membership is subject to approval by the moderation team. candidate members
who wish to subscribe to the list via a free email service (yahoo!, hotmail,
    etc.) must submit additional information to verify their identity;
specifically, their full name, address and telephone number. if the provided
phone number is not in service, the application will not be processed. this
information will only be used for verification of identity and will not be
released to any other party for any reason. this way, we prevent the list from
being exploited for commercial or other purposes not related to our guidelines.

    11. individual posts may be subject to approval by the moderation team. posts
    may be rejected without explanation.

    12. these guidelines are intended to help members participate on the list with
the least possible degree of difficulties. they do not limit the authority of
the moderator in any way. this list is private and participation constitutes
tacit acceptance of that authority, including the authority to accept and reject
applicants and their posts. while this may seem arbitrary, it is necessary to
preserve the character and usefulness of the list so that all may enjoy it.

    13. feel free to contact the moderators with questions and concerns.

    asc2k: guidelines for participation

asc2k is a group of individuals who communicate via email on topics related to
the work of david wilcock. we are all here because we are interested in his work
and how it relates to other information, personal experiences, etc. group
dynamics are prone to extremes, and these guidelines seek to define the common
ground upon which we can have meaningful and informative discussions about
    topics concerning wilcock's work.

    1. participants are asked to keep their posts on topic. possible topics include
mr. wilcock's written work, personal experiences and thoughts related to that
work, material upon which mr. wilcock has based his research (ra / the law of
one, seth, etc.

    4. we feel that the law of one represents a complete body of spiritual teaching,
which becomes increasingly useful the more that it is studied and applied. this
group is optimally designed for those who have made a free-will decision to
study the teaching and harmonize their own attitudes and behaviors with it,
instead of endlessly searching for more "new" teaching to read. be aware that
mr. wilcock and his associates receive large volumes of email each day, and when
a person "discovers" a new source of channeling they often email us and ask for
our opinion. the recommended reading list is a direct result of this broad
spectrum of feedback, and the vast majority of "popular" channeling is not
included, and thereby considered off-topic. such material is best discussed on

by spamming will be immediately banned, and their internet service provider
contacted regarding the nature of the abuse. using email addresses acquired on
the list to spam members privately is also forbidden. be aware that any

products or services, is forbidden, even if you do not directly profit from such
a discussion. if you feel that a particular product / service is uniquely
