are over extending yourself and that is why you are at this crossroads.
reread your response to me. look at all of the things you as one human being
are trying to accomplish. is that fair to you. is it you performing to your
optimal performance? i do not think so. in an effort to do everything you
have boxed yourself into a corner where you must make such a decision as to
ask us for money to speak amongst ourselves. perhaps the most valuable thing
that you have given to us all is the reassurance that not only are you out
there working with like mind but all of us are out there working with like
mind. you've given us the opportunity to communicate with eachother where
before we would more than likely have never known we all existed. now i know
that you didn't plan to implement a pay service from the beginning. but at
the same time to do so at this point, to make us pay to keep in communication
with eachother...

your input is an amazing added bonus to this list. but it is obviously taking
away from your work. your work is not the maintainance of our issues it is
the completion of your writings. i remember two or three months after the
list began you took time away from the list to write. i think you need to do
that again. if moderation is an issue, i think at this stage you should have
enough trust in a few people on the list to take over that task for you. it
is not that we do not want your input here but i believe we would all prefer
your attention be put at your life's work. the discussion here will continue
as lively as ever. if you need to generate finances for maintainance, perhaps
consider a weekly newsletter directly from you. those who can i'm sure will
spend the $4 to get these messages, especially as informative as i'm sure you
would make them.

lastly i would like to comment on reality and what you referred to as playing
with the illusion. this concept is a trap. playing with the illusion.
what's worse than failing in the illusion is succeeding in it as success
blinds us to its own illusion. if indeed we are at the end of many cycles the
illusion is like thin ice in the arctic. walk on it carefully because if you
slip and fall in it will freeze over before you make it out.
