    Default recommended books

hello, everybody. one of the lurkers here, but i thought you all
might be able to help me. i have run out of books to read and need
some suggestions. i thought this thread might be a way for everybody
to share some of their favorite books, books that they have learned a
lot from, or books that have inspired....etc.

anyways, i hope to hear from you all soon so as i can get some
fresh reading material. as a gesture of sharing, i'll clue you all in
on some books that i have found to be great reads in the past few
    years.

    ishmael - daniel quinn
the story of b - daniel quinn
    beyond civilization - daniel quinn
the sirens of titan - kurt vonnegut
    cat's cradle - kurt vonnegut
the dune series - frank herbert
flatland: a romance of many dimensions - edwin abbott

that's all i can really think of off the top of my head.
i'm looking for good engrossing books so anything you can suggest
    would be appreciated.

    thank you everybody...

<font face="arial, helvetica"><font size="3">i strongly recommend dr. michael newton's books called the journey of
souls and destiny of souls. they are excellent and very thoughtprovoking.

newton is a hypnotherapist that uses regression techniques on his clients who regress to the time between lives. the cases discuss how our lives are planned by us, how we view our options for our life, decide on a body and parents, etc there is just so much to his books. i think amazon.com has some free pages of his books up on their site and you can get a good idea what all is covered in the books.

    hi kent...

if your looking for recommended reading material there is a list that was
posted on the asc2k file list by david... you can access it by entering the
asc2k group via the yahoo website and click on the files section.

i have always found that there is alot to be learned in going over material i
have already read... things you may have missed or lessons that were not
relative to your experience at the time may now have more meaning. i would
definately recommend going over thr ra material and davids readings again and
    again.

    hope this helps,

    robin.
