hello everybody!
this thread is about a computer program developed around 17 years ago by terence mckenna called timewave zero.
anyways, way back when he developed this program called timewave zero that is based of the 64 hexagrams of of one of the sequences of the i-ching (i want to say king wen but i'm not sure if that's it)
anyways timewave zero purports to map out time in a linear fashion via a type of sine wave. the y axis of the timewave represents the amount of "novelty" present at that moment in time. the x axis represents the passage of time.
the tricky thing with this theory is defining exactly what novelty is. mckenna basically described it as the complexity and frequency of events happening in time.
if you want to look into this more look up timewave zero on youtube. i don't think anyone can explain it as well as the man who created it.
peace and love
