do not use it. i am telling you from experience. it is bad. bad bad. now, i have not used it since i was younger but i do not need it and there are other ways to connect then that medium.

imho, anything that is fear-inducing or anything that says it knows all the answers, or interrupts your free will (see the ra teachings) will probably be an entity to stop communicating with.

i would suggest maybe readin up on some good ways to protect yourself should you chose to use a medium like the board.

i think that is also what gives the board a bad name. i have done a bit of research on this and the conclusions i have come to(after loads of advice and the like, plus questions to people here) if you go in with fear thats what you will get. especially if you dont protect yourself either!!!
i am going in positive and hopefully well protected. plus as you said i can challenge them if things get a bit iffy.
i dont plan on any questions or anything like that, i just plan on seeing what comes through. take it easy to start with, see how i go and head on from there!

i think you will be fine angie just say the prayers, have the mindset, and be firm, yet loving if you need to be. choose who you "play" with carefully. the negative experiences people have, i feel, may have come in part from the mindset of others' involved. there's always that one guy who's in the bad frame of mind, or who is susceptible to psychic attack. everyone practicing needs to be aware and in that mindset.

i have to advise against the use of this 'tool'. it is dangerous, there is no doubt about it. the use of the board is the same as opening the doors in your own home to strangers saying, "everybody's welcome......anybody's welcome". most will wander past and there will be friendly guest's....but it can also happen, that one of these day's there will be one energy entering the home unannounced who will do damage. there exist entities who are trapped within the confines of their own suffering, who in actual fact need to be released from their voluntary confinement. they can attach themselves to you and/or your family, and they may even prefer the light of your children. there just is no telling as to their agenda. when this happens i guarantee that people will be at a loss as to their next move. many of them will be difficult to remove. free will exists there as much as it exists in this world.

i have had many personal experiences in this, and because of this i'd advise against the use of the ouija board. off course, you do as you must. the opinions expressed here are solely my own.

a friend of mine recieved a ouija board for christmas, i know how to use it but am having alot of trouble trying to establish how it works. is any body certain on how it works? are we contacting another demension? is it safe to use?

also after speaking with a couple freinds they said they have had bad experiances, these experiances to me dont seem bad but seem rather interesting, feel free to share any experiances anyone has had.

i used one once, andd it was kind of weird. basically it was this native american named chris whos father had killed him a long time ago. the funny thing though, is that when people don't remember my name, they often guess my name to be chris, or think that i look like their friend chris, etc. even though my name is actually nick.

question though for the previous posters. are the manifestations from the ooiji board not simply reflections of ourselves? i mean, if you are saying prayers etc. in fear that 'evil' might come through and harm you, are you not then inviting that sort of experience in the first place? to be honest, i was skeptical at the time when my friends and i used the ooiji board, and then after we read about chris, when i went home part of me felt guilty for engaging in the act... but looking back at it now after all that i've learned spiritually in the last 6 months... i feel that chris was simply a reflection of my own being.

however, i don't know for sure, i didn't really study it or anything, these are just my passing thoughts.

yeah but lets be serious here, its a board that moves to letters and numbers when 2 or more people put their hand on the compass. why wouldnt it move with only one person?

i dont understand how it could be dangerous and what actaully could happen.

i believe it works, however i couldnt see it causing harm. their are many people who are saying its bad but why?

also there's this "the spirit in the glass" when pple touche a glass lightly with their fingers, and the glass starts to move around the letters of the alphabet to answer questions. my parents did this together with a neighbour when i was little f.i. and it gave exact answers about the future and nothing dangerous ever happened ....
