    Default Help!

    hi.

i'm just now discovering this whole world of information that people like david have brought to the relative public.

i've read/listened/seen things of mr. wilcock speaking, such as the 2012 enigma, his interview with project camelot, and his appearance on coast to coast and myth or logic.

my question is, well i have a few (not all of which i expect to be answered):

    - if there is such a profound e.t. presence (ufos, on mars and the moon, and the extended galaxy), why is all we are able to see in the night sky are, on rare occasion, a ufo or two? personally, i've only seen one thing i suspect to be a ufo of some sort, but then i couldn't have been sure. however, the witness testimony is quite convincing.

    - is there any way i can receive any sort of "enlightenment" of this? i feel like i have some connection to it, but it all seems so messy, i can't make sense of any of it...

    - are there any more links to any david wilcock speeches, documentaries, discussions, etc. other than what i've listed? listening to him speak is truly a rewarding and inspiring experience.

    thanks, that is all.

    Default the accumulation of wealth

hi, im stuart im new here. right, heres a question i could do with a bit of help with! which is the best path out of the following....you have a choice of 2 new jobs, the first is a job on a meagre wage helping children get everything they deserve when growing up(love, food, education, healthcare) but giving you an inner satisfaction of helping others less fortunate than yourself. the other job is a high paying job that causes pollution and deforrestation, but with the higher wage you can contribute to many good charitable causes and wrong many rights closer to home. which would be the more spirtual choice. i i ask this question because i have changed many things in my life for the better but i seem to be stuck with the dilemma of what path to go down work wise. love to all, stuart l

diadems, i have found this to be a friendly and welcoming community. perhaps nobody responded simply because they were not knowledgeable about the topics you asked about? at least that is the case for me - also, i do not read every thread, and i did not see your post until just now. i have been here less than a month myself, and as of yet do not feel the authority to say, "welcome to the group! we greet you!" if you are drawn here, though, i expect that you can trust within yourself that you belong here. while list members do not usually overflow with displays of enthusiasm, i have found that it is possible to connect deeply with a few people who share common interests. that might take a while, so patience might pay off. at least it has for me.

but for the record, welcome! i am glad you found your way here. i can greet you as a fellow newbie, and empathize with your feelings of wondering what you're going to find here. i can speak for myself and say i have been on dozens and dozens of lists online, some on psychological topics, some on spiritual topics, and so far this one seems to be the most solid and positive one i have ever been on. it also seems to move a bit slower than some others, and my opinion is that the reason for this is that people take their time and think about what they are going to say before they post. thus, when someone does reply, it is likely to be worth waiting for.

i'd like to respond to questions you and jon brought up, but i will do that in a different post. thanks for being here, brian, and thanks for being open about your concerns.

hi, stuart, and welcome to the list. i am a fellow newbie, and my name is paul.

i admit to feelings of bafflement as i ponder your question. as i see it, you have essentially posed a question as to whether to follow your heart or your head. that is a difficult choice. usually, any time somebody asks me a question like that, i reply by saying that your head and your heart are two different sources of information, both legitimate, and that my goal for you would be for you to find an answer that both your head and your heart feel satisfied with. to do that, sometimes you have to re-frame the question.

as i see it, you have framed the question in a black-and-white way - either one thing or the other, with no in-between. perhaps that is really the way things are, and i can certainly see the logic of it when the question is about a job search. i would, however, ask you to consider a couple of other things.

1: how much time do you have to make your decision?

2: are you feeling pressured one way or the other? other people's experiences may be different, but for me, a feeling of outer pressure as if i were being forcefully pushed usually does not lead me in the best direction for myself. there is a different feeling, a small but insistent inner tug, that does not push or pressure, but feels more like a good friend gently encouraging me in the direction they see as best suited to who i am. can you distinguish between the two? can you say which one is associated with which decision?

    3. i appreciate the fact that you are searching along the lines of what would be the best for all, not just best for yourself. one unfortunate side effect of having such a spiritual conscience & being determined to do what is best often makes decisions more difficult. i'd suggest you take a moment, set the decision aside for a moment, and give yourself a few moments of appreciation for being someone with such a tender conscience and a deep commitment to do the right thing. i personally am glad whenever i meet such a person, because i feel that people like you help make everything better on the planet.

even better, take *five* minutes to savor your positive qualities. if you find it hard to do that, then take 5 and savor the fact that another human being (me) appreciates how spiritually conscientious you are being.

when you have done that, i'd ask you to consider the question again. then see what thoughts and feelings emerge. i see good things ahead for you.

numerology is my short suit, but i can at least welcome you to this forum. i have found the people nice, the moderators fair and honest, and the spiritual food to tide me over until suppertime.

my birthdate is decades before yours. i'll just say it gives me a good feeling deep inside to see so many of you "young spring chickens" following a spiritual path, and bringing so much deep and ancient soul wisdom with you.

Red face Apologie to our new friends

i'm sorry you're not being given the feedback you deserve. for myself i'm a bit overwhelmed. for the one who has become a master of reiki, you are already way beyond me and i have no answer for you.
as for the friend who has the dilemma of the two jobs i can say this. you first must be able to live with yourself. i speak as one who is old enough to have retired from the workforce.
to work at a job that slowly diminishes your life force will make you miserable and ineffective as a family member and as a seeker of truth.

only you can decide what you can live with, but remember the greatest gift you have is yourself. money can come to you in various forms, via work, grants, gifts etc. what you have within you is a combination of diligence and intention and can work magic.

it's a bit easier if you think of money like any other commodity - paper, pencils, houses, food. it exists, there's no reason that you can't have what you need. diligence and intention. (and prayer, if your given to that)

in reading over what i've written, it's a bit fragmentary. i hope it helps.

it is written that; because of free will of the planet earth. et's cannot access the surface of the earth when ever they may please. the et's have to be granted permission by the quardians of the earth.

ah, yes. i held back from saying it, and now nancy has filled in the gap with her post.

in the reading i have done on creating wealth, the research findings have shown that the biggest key to wealth is doing what you love most. an example from one book i read was about the owner of a beauty salon. she absolutely loved her work, even though she did not make terribly much money at it, she made enough to meet her needs. she stuck with it out of love. over a long period of time, she earned enough to purchase the small building she worked in. it was modest, but she loved it.

the day came when a big corporation wanted to buy the building she worked in. she was shocked, and told them that it was not for sale. the man persisted. she persisted, emphasizing that it was not for sale at any price. the man still persisted. he asked her, "well, at least tell me what you would settle for if you were to sell it."

she laughed, and said, "oh, what the heck. a million dollars!"

to her vast surprise, the man replied, "i am not authorized to offer you a million dollars. the most i am authorized to offer you is $900,000."

that story was offered as an example of the power of love in your work. if you love what you do, then you will take the time, put the energy into it, see that little "unimportant" things are done right. that is what makes success.

ahhh, how i do love teamwork! thanks, nancy.

i see. but would that necessarily make them invisible to us?
