    Default Newbies' Journeys

    hello everyone!

here's a thread where people can get together and share experiences whether you are fairly new to the forum and wish to share a story with everyone in a loving atmosphere, or whether you simply wish to welcome and comfort newbies to divine cosmos.

here we are free to explore ourselves as we journey through a spiritual awakening.

hello! just wanted to share this...

one morning, several months ago, i was laying in bed, a little before the alarm clock was due to sound, and i was almost "half" asleep. suddenly, i became instantly alert and awake for no apparent reason, but something told me that my wife just woke up at that moment.

the energy emitted by her awakening, i believe, enhanced my own awareness instantly that morning. i asked her if she just woke up, and she said she did.

just a neat experience to feel so connected...

Default Mt First Post - New Guy

i am new here. i joined the forum because i have watched a lot of david's interviews and videos on youtube.

i have experienced a lot of things in this life, and i have a lot of things about myself which i don't understand and don't really have anyone to talk to about, so i figure that maybe hanging out in a forum such as this will help me to get some things off my chest by talking about such things.

i could make no less than 500 threads about certain things that are all bottled inside me. but for now, i just want to say hello.

i did read the forum for a while before i made this post. i notice that the forum doesn't encourage the experiences of others; and it seems to revolve mainly around what david says. i am just wondering if i am allowed to share things which have happened with me? if not, that's ok, i'll keep searching for a forum -- but there aren't too many serious forum's around.

i also noticed that david seems not to posts here and he seems not to have any interaction with website members. that's kind of a bummer too. does he ever hang out somewhere, like a chat or something?

anyway, that's all i'll say for now.

    cm1star,

i am in no authority position here, but since i've been a member (april 2007), many members have posted about their personal experiences (including myself). so, please do! i've found that "airing my dirty laundry" here has helped; many have provided valuable feedback which helped me form a perspective that allowed for deeper insight and understanding.

additionally, there is always the chance that someone could gain from your experiences, so again, please feel free to share. you'll find that this is a very positive place!

Default experiences are a part of the research-

    hello cm1star! welcome!

i think you will find that experiences are a part of dw research to a point. i have shared many things (dreams, personal experiences, spiritual journeys) on the forum and im thankful the mods allow many others experiences. i think part of the research is the idea that many are having experiences that seem to be connected with the idea of a united consciousness.

i think you will find that experiences are welcome that pertain to experiences that dw researches, such as dreams, phenomenons, spiritual journeys, and feelings of intuitions (to a point).

you might not receive alot of input about the experience, because ultimately, you are the one that must decide on the meanings. but lots of ideas are presented for why we experience such things through out the forum. i remember when i first began posting my dreams and i so much wanted someone to interpret them for me. no one responded for input and now i know why. many here realize the importance of personal significance, to the individual, that their inner voice is the place that holds the understanding. many here grant the individual this gift to keep following their intuition and inner voice, but yet enjoy hearing about others experiences so we all know we all arent alone in these thoughts and feelings. sharing is wonderful, but dont be discouraged if others feel the need to allow you the gift of discernment of your own experiences. i believe everyone here understands the importance of us all feeling the need to share ourselves right now. i for one love hearing others journeys and adventures in this life.

    peace to you,
    lynette

thanks (again) for the comments. i had replied, but unfortunately the response wasn't approved. so -- i have created my own forum to post my experiences.

i'll hang out here, as i have been for many months -- i just hadn't registered until yesterday.i felt no need. but i wont be posting my experiences here. i am in no way trying to sound upset or anything, but i don't want to post and sit here wondering if what i say will be approved or not.

i'll be a good sport and try to involve myself in other posts and respond to other posts as i was politely asked in pm.

    Default new member...tree of life

    hey ya'll,
new member here. this is my first post. i've been wanting to post but didnt know what to write about. i devoured the law of one study guides and have been reading all i can on this site. all this stuff is pretty new to me, but alot oof it resonates with me (i love that phrase)

my question is about the tree of life. i got a tree of life tattoo a few years ago. i didnt know what it was and had never seen it before. i saw it once in a tattoo magazine, was intruiged by it, but could never find that pic again. i did some research about it and found that it was a celtic (pagan?) symbol. mine is a realistic looking tree with the roots showing, a few of the roots curve upward and some of the branches curve downward forming a circle. the tat is on my chest above my heart. i never really understood why i was compelled to permanently ink this onto my body, but am so happy that i did.
what do you guys know about the tree of life?

i was raised catholic, but consider myself spiritual not religious (long before i heard of the law of one). anyway, anyone's input would be much appreciated. it feels good to contribute to this site. thank you

    peace,
    eric priestley

Default Hi all I'm new here

hi all, my name is stacy. i'm new here. i'm so happy to have found this discussion group. i have been studying the law of one for about three months now and i'm fascinated. i've been looking for this my whole life. i've studied the western magical tradition for years but always felt something missing. now i feel like i found the missing piece. hurray!
i live in montreal. i was wondering if any one in this group lives in montreal? it would be nice to get together with others who share interest in the law of one.
i wish you all health, happiness and spiritual growth, amen.

    Post magical personality/Higher Self

hey everyone here at divine cosmos reading this, i was wondering some questions about my higher self/magical personality and how to directly contact it for guidance. i have tried before but the message wasn't very clear. the question i would like to ask all of you is how do you contact your higher self?
