psychic abilities - do they run in the family?

hello everyone! so i as the thread title says, do you think psychic abilities may be passed down in the family? my grandmother and great grandmother were both very psychic and both did readings for a living. my mother doesn't do anything like that but has told me of psycich happenings that have... happened to her.

so what i'm asking is, if three generations have had psychic abilities, do you think i could have them too? i have not had any psychic type things happen in my life so far so i'm not exactly sure. what are your thoughts on thsi subject? also i'm male and 18 if that helps (since all the psychic ones were apparently female)

absolutely! grandma always knew if a stranger would come around dinner time because she would set an extra place setting at the table, among other things. you never wanted to think around my dad... or within a few miles of him. all of us kids,(now adults), are known around town, and our significant others all refer to us as witches! when we get together for holidays they always gravitate to another room and we are left cackling in the kitchen!

both my grandmother(still living) and my mother(deceased) have exhibited various psychic abilities.

everyone has psychic potential. some appear pre-disposed-genetically or otherwise, to these abilities.

my maternal grandmother had some psychic abilities, as do my mother and one of her brothers. i have some, and i think at least one of my brothers may have some. if my other siblings do, i think they either want to ignore it or are too afraid it may be considered "satanistic" to admit it.

i have one daughter who has told me about her psychic abilities, and the other daughter has a daughter who exhibits some degree of psychic traits. she saw her deceased grandfather about a month after he died and told her mother about it. i think she was about 3 or 4 at the time. and this daughter has been on the extreme christian "anti-psychic abilities" track for years.

i have tried to tell my kids that those ablities are just as much god-given as their artistic and musical talents, but when they went to a church that denounced such things, it was hard to break that kind of brainwashing. i think all three of my kids are now beginning to open up to their psychic abilites, as they have all witnessed things that go beyond "normal" explanations.
