synchronicity or coincidence?

i was catching up on some episodes of sliders, you know, that cool sci-fi show from the 90's where they "slide" from parallel dimension earth into the next?

well, in the first season episode 7, hillary clinton is the president in a world where women are the dominant sex and men are wishing they could break the glass ceiling.

this was obviously made when hillary was first lady so is it just a coincidence?

hi to all! i've been thinking about an incident that occurred a couple of weeks ago and i'm not sure which "box" to put it in. was it synchronicity, was it a coincidence or was it something else?

my husband and i were on our way home from visiting our daughter at a holiday camp. we had bought a new car the week before so hubby was dying to see how fast it could go without blowing up the engine. of course, i kept screaming at him to slow down but he was loving it so much that he was oblivious to anything else but the car and the road.

at some point he decided to overtake the car in front of us. as he moved into the opposite lane, a "swarm" of cars could be seen in the distance. at this point, i started to get this eery feeling that we had entered some type of "weirdo zone". the first three cars in the opposite lane were black and those that followed were all light coloured. o.k. , but a couple of minutes later when hubby decided to over take another car, the cars coming towards us in the opposite lane were again in the same colour sequence. three black cars at the front and all those behind them were white, beige or light silver.

i knew by now that something was up but i wasn't fast enough in figuring it out. just down the road, we were pulled over for speeding. good thing my husband is a good pr man so we were only fined 80 euros.

what i keep wondering now was if i had read into some kind of matrix code-that's the message i keep getting. i'm not too sure?

oh and by the way, our car is red!

any insights?

a scary thought just crossed my mind. did one of my other selves set the cops up on my ot to stop him from acting like a madman and not get us killed before our time.? just wondering!!!

wow, perhaps your higher self saw that an accident might occur and set up the clues that eventually lead to the cops putting some sanity back into the driving!

i guess it depends on the perception of the observer and whether the impression is temporary or lasting.

i took a friend to see the new animated movie coraline, as we watched the previews there was one movie that was the same plot as the one major video game she had helped design, then as we watched a trailer for an animal movie i mentioned that the last zoo i went to was the detroit zoo, and later in the movie a snow globe with "detroit zoo" was an important prop.

just coincidence? these things are happening with increasing frequency, and i've been consciously looking for synchronicity for at least 20 years!

this is a great synchronicity for me. for the past week i have been having these blasts from the past of things from my childhood and early life that i completely forgot about. i used to watch this show all the time. i didn't miss an episode. i even remembered watching "flight of the navigator" non stop and of course "e.t"
