Army: Sun, Not Man, Causing Climate Change
the army is weighing in on the global warming debate, claiming that climate change is not man-made. instead, dr. bruce west, with the army research office, argues that "changes in the earthís average surface temperature are directly linked to ... the short-term statistical fluctuations in the sunís irradiance and the longer-term solar cycles."
how far that little candle throws his beams!
so shines a good deed in a weary world.

Sun not 100% responsible for "global warming" weather
i disagree partially with the conclusions that the army has found. while yes, the sun is increasing the heat factor around the globe and in our solar system, we as humans are not blameless for what is going on (even though we would love to wipe this off of our plate). the pollution we are putting up into the air is exacerbating the weather. a pollution molecule is very different from a regular dust molecule. a regular dust molecule has fewer "connection points" and isn't as greedy to bond with other molecules/atoms (i.e. moisture/water) in order to be neutralized. because of this, a pollution molecule greedily snaps up more water from the local atmosphere (causing drought in one area) and quickly releases it in neighboring areas (causing flooding) as we are seeing across the us.
we still need to support mother earth with continued reductions in pollution and consumption, the production of local produce and the reduction of fertilizers produced from petrochemicals, the support of organic growing, recycling projects, and caring for her and the lives of our fellow creatures.
