Thank you David,
Your clear advice has offered very sound help, it resonates with me and after trying the grounding i feel the rigidity of my meditations.
The prayer is something amazing, the words ring true to much of what I would say when offering myself to the cause, it just delivers it in a more complete way, appreciate you sharing it...
Thanks for taking the time to give assistance.
Peace and light
David Bourke, I very much enjoyed your post. It was very informative but I have a reservation about one thing that you mentioned. I have been consciously grounding for decades but I was taught to always avoid concrete. It is an unnatural man-made substance and it is extremely high in male energy and extremely deficient in female energy--and thus very unbalanced. Stone and wood are natural substances and therefore allow energy to pass through them more easily and naturally. Furthermore, most concrete has synthetic fibers or rebar added for strength and these add to the unnatural state of the concrete. When I stand barefoot outside on either grass or soil I can ground practically instantaneously and I can really feel that connection but when I step onto concrete I can quite vividly feel the blockage of the flow of energy. It is extremely palpable to me.
A small informal study was done in New Mexico a few years ago. It involved two groups of workers. One group worked on concrete floors all day long and the other group worked all day long on natural flagstone floors. The two groups did the very same work but the group working on the concrete floors experienced significantly more stress and more health issues than the workers working on natural flooring. Perhaps this is because the workers working on concrete floors were not sufficiently grounded. There were other factors I'm sure but being personally able to acutely notice the difference in energy myself, I am quite sure the concrete was a major factor. When I built my house almost two decades ago I was adamant about there being no concrete floors. All my floors are either natural stone or natural wood. I always feel sublimely grounded when I am at home. When ever I spend any significant time on concrete floors I can feel the difference. It is extremely noticeable to me, in fact I've found that I just can't spend much time on concrete before I have to go outside, take my shoes off, and stand upon the skin of our paradisical planet.
Of course, that's just me.
In my experience you can ground anywhere - in a car, in a plane, in the astral planes without your physical body - and of course in the forest and in doors. The intention is the most important thing. Finding the Earth Divine Feminine energy really isn't hard - She's everywhere on this planet. Setting your intention into reaching the heart of the planet will guide you to grounding anywhere.

When you explode whatever it is you are holding in your mind's eye and recreating it, you release blockages and start moving stagnant energy. I usually explode and recreate my grounding at least three or four times before I'm happy. If I'm feeling particularly blocked, I might spend the most part of a meditating session just working on the grounding. And each new grounding "channel" between me and the heart of the Earth, I try to create it more pleasing and wonderful than the last one :-) Untill it feels really perfect.
Thank you to Vanya, Beardedsage, and Jonni Anton for some very interesting information.
Regarding concrete, I agree with Jonni that it depends on its constituents. But most concrete walking surfaces are made with Portland cement, sand, water, and possibly aggregrate (small stones). Portland cement is made from calcinated limestone and clay and is entirely natural. And sand, water, and stones are also natural. Cement is man-made in that it is manipulated natural materials. But so are flagstones - split by man from giant boulders. The question becomes, where do we draw the line at natural and man-made?
However, there are synthetic cements available, some of which are undoubtedly used in home flooring.
The only cement on my property is a garden path that was laid by my late father according to his own secret recipe. He mixed in cow dung from cattle fed on hay, plus some dried straw and smooth beach shingle. It was laid in 1960 and it's never cracked or worn. I've often thought of replacing that path with granite paving slabs. But then I picture my Dad standing there wagging his finger at me. So I think that path will outlast me!
Concrete wouldn't be my first choice of grounding material - far easier just to step off onto the grass. But I've tested it just now and had no difficulty grounding myself. I don't doubt though that synthetic cement would be an altogether different experience. Your information about the study was very interesting and revealing. I could never live in a house with fake concrete floors. All mine are either natural real wood or terracotta tiles laid on marine quality plywoods.
@Beardedsage: I'm glad you found the dowser's routine useful. Same energy - different name.
@Vanya: thank you for your very kind offer of help. I may very well take you up on it soon. Once I finish a very big job I have underway at present, I intend to turn my full attention to getting back into meditation. Many years ago, I took a course in Trancendental Meditation. I still remember my mindfulness trigger but I forget the induction routine and everything else. I'm 60 years old and partially disabled, so the lotus position is out of the question and I can't sit on a straight chair for longer than five minutes - so it's an armchair or a bed for me. Not the best, but what can I do?
Anyway, a fascinating discussion - and educational, too.
Love and light to you all.
Not sure if this is related to what's happening but a few days ago I had some weird things happening to me. I was in bed in the nearly awake zone and heard things rattling around a bit on the dresser like loose change. Then I felt myself shaking and being pulsed upon if that makes sense. The pulsing felt like the meat was being pushed off my bones, it is that same feeling of having your skin pulled back when skydiving. Not that I have done that, would love to though. This feeling only lasted a few minutes. Is this related to opening of vortexes or haarp activities do you think? I also don't know how to tell my children about what's going to happen and sense that I will stay with them to face whatever happens or will my family come with me, read that somewhere?
