Video transcript fans,

I thought that it would be best to start a new thread that would be specifically related to the developing video transcript team that is presently forming, so feel free to post anything related to the topic of the Video Transcript Team and/or the video transcripts, as well as offerings to volunteer for the team, if you feel so moved to step up.

In this first post I have a copy of a bulk e that I had sent out to those who had kindly wrote to DW in their offering of transcription services, the addresses of which DW had sent to me in support of my efforts to create a Video Transcript Team for not only the Divine Cosmos site, but the Project Camelot site as well. If you feel moved to volunteer for the video transcription team, feel free to contact Jo Anne (her DC forum handle is "PyramidNJ"), who is the Co-ordinator for the Video Transcript Team.

Following the copy of the bulk e is the listing of four e-mail respondents who had failures to receive this bulk e-mail, so I'm listing them in case any of you could recognize yourselves and be prompted to respond to this thread, if so moved.

Greetings Otherselves,

This is Seth, aka, "Mozart" , a member of the Divine Cosmos list and a long-time member of the old asc2k list e-mailing to you on behalf of the Divine Cosmos and the Project Camelot sites on the subject of volunteer transcription work.

Firstly, thank you to all of you who have sent e-mails to David in your sincere desires to serve others through doing volunteer transcription work. Although many of you may not have received responses from David Wilcock, it's only because he's super-busy with high-level, multi-faceted professional work that demands all of his available work time with yet so much other work being unattended because of the neccessity of professional prioritization within the limitations of 3-D time.

Now that the Divine Cosmos site has gotten very active with a new forum, as most of you likely already know, David has been involved a great deal more activity that includes video appearances (on the Project Camelot site) that have resulted in posted videos on the Divine Cosmos site. The Wilcock videos have been extremely popular with a lot of people benefitting greatly from the information within the vids, but, due to severe time constraints of Wilcock and his professional work, as well as the Project Camelot folks (Bill & Kerry) who are overloaded with all the work that entails a lot of things other than transcription work, transcripts of such valuable videos have been very hard to come by. As of now only the Wilcock video has been just recently transcribed by several volunteers (bless them!) from the Divine Cosmos forum, but such transcripts have not yet been posted onto the Project Camelot site as of the writing of this e-mail, but soon will, I'm sure. I'll tell ya, I'm itch'n to read it.

So this is where you folks come in. There is a huge need for video transcription on the Project Camelot site, which David Wilcock considers it to be part of his extended mission, hence he totally supports having transcription volunteers from the Divine Cosmos site to do volunteer video transcription work on the Project Camelot site. Project Camelot has rededicated itself totally towards creating/raising information about the coming 2012 Event Horizon that's just around the corner in our 3-D world, so many of the videos on the Project Camelot site are of great value with a lot of cutting-edge, people-need-to-know information that really needs to get out there; most of the information in the videos dovetail very nicely with the information on the Divine Cosmos site.

There's just one problem with the videos: NO transcripts!

Transcripts are hugely valuable for many reasons. Take my case as an example: I'm nearly deaf, so watching the vids is useless, so I totally rely on the transcripts to get the information that I so greatly desire; there are many others who have hearing challenges as well, so transcripts would be a God-send for them as well. Then there's the folks who find transcripts to be very useful for reference/research purposes, not to mention other reasons, so having transcripts of all the videos in the Divine Cosmos and Project Camelot sites would be a great value for not only those who frequent the sites, but the masses out there as well, most of whom really need to read up on this stuff.

If you are still interested in doing the valuable transcript work, feel free to contact Jo Anne, (the "PyramidNJ" addy in this e-mail), a member of the Divine Cosmos forum who has volunteered to step up and co-ordinate the transcript volunteer team. We now have three active transcribers and we seek to have an active list of at least 12 able and ready-to-roll transcribers. As Jo Anne indicated in some of her posts, doing this "work" has many benefits, amongst which are: deeper absorbtion of the information, the pleasure of serving others, the positive vibes from the videos and other benefits.

If we succeed in getting 12 or more volunteer transcribers, then the work-load can be easily distributed/shared so that not one or a few would be over-burdened with transcript work on top of their own busy lives. The transcript work is not difficult and you don't need fancy equipment--just communicate with Jo Anne and she'll get you started with what needs to be done at the moment.

There is no need to respond directly to David, as he, like Atlas, is busy carrying the world, so feel free to respond to Jo Anne, primarily; feel free to include me in your responses to Jo Anne just so that I can see how many would still be interested/available for transcription work.

May the Type Force be with you,

[11:11am!]

~Seth

Just as I was about to send off the bulk e-mail, I looked at the time and it was 11:10am, so I waited a few seconds and the clock struck the aforementioned time. ;-) At least I was one step ahead instead of being one step (several minutes, usually) behind like so many times in my past, so maybe I'm starting to catch up to speed? I can only hope.

Here's the e-mail failures:

:o

Greetings to all,

I have already contacted a couple of people here via e-mail about this, but I thought I would make a public posting as well.

I have begun transcribing the mp3 "2012 -- The Bright Side", which I found particulary interesting. No promises on when I will finish this labor of love, but hopefully sooner than later.

If anyone's already completed transcribing this mp3, I am sure you will let me know so I can direct my energies to another transcription project.

Basically I'm asking if there's anything I need to know about what's been happening transcription-wise, so that I can help out.

My thanks and love to all :D

Doug
