View Full Version : Transcribers needed for Camelot site

hey dw fans,
i sent an e-mail to bill and kerry of the www.projectcamelot.org site and here's what kerry of that site said to me:
yes we would love to have david wilcock's interviews transcribed!! feel free to post the need for that on david's site.
so if any of you feel inspired to do some valuable sto work in the act of transcribing valuable material (like dw's latest interviews with bill/kerry, for starters), please do contact bill and kerry of the projectcamelot site, the url of which is down below in this post.
so far none of dw's latest interviews have been transcribed, so i'm (and others as well, surely) still in the dark as to what was said, thus having transcripts will be very, very valuable for a lot of otherselves. i wanna read what dw has said!
i do suggest that it would be good to have as many of you as possible to be part of a sizeable pool of transcribers so that you can take turns transcribing valuable messages related to not only dw's interviews, but others on the projectcamelot site as well, given that many interviews that they do are of immense value to many people who'd need/want to read the information, not to mention the reference value of ready-to-use transcripts. if we have a sizeable pool of ready-to-act transcribers for anything that dw speaks, as well as others, then the speed of the transcripts appearing would be much faster, plus, more importantly, the burdens of responsibilities would be lessened on dw's shoulders, as well as bill/kerry of projectcamelot. time, as always, is a challenge for these folks to do what they do on top of the work of transcribing, so if the transcribing work is shared amongst a reliable pool of transcribers, then dw and bill/kerry can do that much more effective work in their respective fields.
feel free to act now to take steps towards performing good, valuable sto work through the acts of transcribing interviews.

well, i would certainly be available to do some transcribing but my understanding (and most certainly i am dating myself here) is that one would need the transcription equipment - machine with headphones and foot switch or pedal - in order to do the work. is this old technique replaced with something less cumbersome? does anyone know?
the dictation equipment with foot pedal and headphones is the easiest way i have found to transcribe the interviews. i am fortunate enough that i have this set up at home. i record the interview on tapes (when i can get a hold of my bosses recorder) and then can start and stop with my foot pedal. however, you can now get multi-media keyboards which allow you to stop and start with a touch of your finger. a friend of mine just picked up a used one for $20.00 (cdn). this method is pretty good as well.
i have let david know before through this forum that i am available to transcribe and have had the wonderful opportunity to be of service in this regard (subject to david editing of course). not only is it great to be able to give something back for all we receive here on this website, but typing each sentance often gives you a much greater understanding sometimes than just listening to the interview because you can absord each and every word.
i am always available to transcribe, all david need do is ask. with four parts to the projectcamelot interview,(which was so amazing) the more people that can transcribe the better, should david decide that he wants it transcribed.
always happy to be of service,

hey camelot fans,
bill/kerry from the camelot site have asked me to post their "thank you" to the dc forum, so here it goes:
thanks for your help, seth –
we’ve had a volunteer from the dc forum approach us already... and have replied to them already suggesting a way forward.
do please post on the forum, from us, that we send our warm regards to everyone there and thank anyone who has the time to volunteer to help david and ourselves out in this way.
i appreciate the one from this dc forum who has stepped forward to help with transcripts and i encourage more of you to do the same, since having a pool of several ready-to-act transcription volunteers makes it not only easier for the camelot folks to get transcripts up online faster, but it also makes it easier for the transcribers to share the work loads.
despite the progress with the transcribing, as of now, (sun morning pst, sept 2nd,) there still are no transcripts online of dw's latest interviews in the camelot site, which leaves many folks in the dark as to what has been said, as not all folks can hear the verbal data on the videos, not to mention those who still are on dial-up, which handles transcripts far easier than videos. frustrating, but patience...

newbie here to the forum. i sent bill and kerry an email offering to transcribe.
hope to be contributing a post here and there soon. ive just been hanging around trying to get caught up to speed on everything here.
i'm also hearing-impaired and have to rely on transcriptions of the dc material videos, cds, and tapes (as well as many other programs such as jeff rense show, laura lee show and all those intensely interesting youtube videos, etc. everyone seems to throw around in these forums so casually.). i wish i could hear well enough to transcribe them myself for you all since i'm retired and have the time and typing ability. thank you, thank you, shelly and/or anyone else who give of their time and energy to transcribe.

newbie here to the forum. i sent bill and kerry an email offering to transcribe.
a big heartfelt thank you from us dial-up users!
hi gang...i print most of what i find interesting on the web because i would rather sit outside to read or read in bed. that way i seem to retain the information better, for some strange reason. david and co. have the thing set up for printing which works out well, except for the ones that include all the lovely photos and graphics. i block copy and paste the text to wordpad to get rid of the photos and then usually change the ariel font to comic sans ms (my funky favorite - easy-to-read font) size 11 or 12. then i set my printer to print out two pages to a sheet of paper which allows me to read it like a paperback book sort of (save a tree, eh?). using ms word works even better since in that one you can insert page numbers...while wordpad doesn't have that nifty feature. i very rarely save to disk any of the documents i copy and paste. needless to say i have a huge pile of print-outs. sigh. i need to get a bird. ;)

hi, jo anne –
many thanks for this. it’s really most helpful to us, and to david.
we already have someone who has been working on part 1, and is three-quarters of the way through. the other three parts haven’t yet been tackled. it certainly helps to spread the load – anyone who’s done any transcribing knows that it’s a very time-consuming process, far more (unless one is really very experienced) than it might appear at first.
we don’t have to give any ok ourselves – this is an organic process! what we’ll happily do is thank the person who’s been working hard on part 1, and ask them if they can continue to complete that – and then turn the other three parts over to any volunteers at the dc forum.
can you post a message from us thanking any volunteers sincerely, giving them our warm regards (and also to everyone at the forum), and co-ordinating who might do which part? you’re most welcome to have a go at part 2, which seems logical. why not tell people you’re doing that (unless you’d prefer to remain anonymous, of course)... and ask for anyone else to come forward for parts 3 and 4.
do get back to us with your thoughts about that... and again, please relay our regards to all there.
with best wishes,
bill and kerry
bill and kerry: just read on the divine cosmos forum that you need transcription help. please let me know how i may assist.
in the light!
