but anyway, if the game is suspended due to an incident, mo matter
how major, or minor it may be, i think its significance will be
defined by the fact that it shows the us is completely unable or more
likely unwilling to defend itself from these attacks.
the fact is most of the nation has already heard the rumers. its all
over the headlines and the interent gossip. there is no reason in
the world why any one should be in danger during thegame tonight as
long as the propper precautions are taken.
so, if something does happen, it shows a complete lack of effort on
the part of the govt to protect its citizens, or even more likely, it
is the will of the govt that these events occur.
i believe this to be important, because this should be an obvious
conclusion to any bystander. even those with thier heads in the sand
should take notice of the govt involvment if anything were to happen
on this date. the whole country has heard the rumers.
one might even suggest that is why the president was sent to last
nights game. as if to say, "if we had any clue anything was going to
happen why would we send him to any game" -so his appearence last
night was just a smoke screen.
