View Full Version : 'Identity' by Lao Tzu

It has always been an innate ability of Mankind to intuitively resonate with and apprehend the understanding of the 'Law of One'.

This 'post' was made by Lao Tzu over four hundred years before the birth of Jesus (does this not remind you of what David Wilcock has made mention of very recently?):

Accolades can usher in
great trouble for your body.
Censure can herald misery.

Why can favor and disfavor
both be harmful?

Because both accolades and censure,
when filtered through self as ego,
always place us in jeopardy.

But when the universe becomes yourself,
when you love the world as yourself,
all reality becomes your haven,
reinventing you as your own heaven.

Only then, will you transcend tense,
to be fully here now.
Only then, no harm
will the universe proffer
nor you to her,
for you will be
not you but she
and both - the universal Great Integrity.

Please expand on what this reminds you of. (To me it seems cryptic.)

soup, it comes across as cryptic because of my awkward wording here. It looks as though I am referring to the fact this was written @2,500 years ago, when in fact I was referring to what David has mentioned regarding certain celebrities who become addicted to the energies and 'accolades' of their fans, filtering energy through the ego in an unhealthy manner.

I am learning to double check my posts for clarity, not just for typos.
Hope this helps clear it up.:o

Thanks for the clarification.
Sometimes one may need to learn about imbalance before one can better appreciate and value balance, (and this may be part of the celebrities' gift.)

Maybe that's a byproduct of being creative and as being creative being in tune with the CREATOR somehow. Some things seem worth DESTROYING, as if destruction could be an initial creative act of some sort - which creates a vacuum for the new creation to fill.

The "universal integrity" reminds me of the tri-dosha wisdom of Ayurveda, another very ancient body of knowledge related to healthy living.
