Hello again to everyone! I was wondering if anyone else was interested in obtaining the Science of Peace material in DVD format. I surely am , and would appreciate any help I/we could get on obtaining this on DVD - payment is not an issue , I would be just fine with paying above and beyond the normal price for the mp3's.......
Thank you , again ,
Greg T.

"The Science of Peace" will not be offered in any physical format (CD or DVD).

The reason this material is offered at such low price right now is because our overhead for producing the material is kept very, very low.

If our overhead was raised, the price would have to go up... it is simple economics.

So the compromise was reached that we would release it as a download-only product, and we would explain how people could burn CDs or DVDs themselves after they download the product.

This makes the most sense for distributing audio material now anyway.

[In order to be proactive in conserving our use of oil products], it makes total sense that an audio product such as "The Science of Peace" would be made into a download-only product.

Best to you!

Like Greg T., I too have been waiting for a physical CD or DVD to be offered as I have a tendency to be "technologically handicapped." ;-) ie. My first recollection of a telephone is a wooden box with a crank on the wall of the kitchen.

The last I knew about CD burning was that it would cost about $300 for a "burning machine". ( That was about 4 -5 years ago; not much time in my book.) To my delight I have just learned that the most recent computers have a "burner" built-in!! Mine does not at this time, but I have friends-in-the-know. I will place my order shortly.

With almost 200 viewers of Greg's post, maybe just ONE of them can benefit from my "revelation". :-)

Hello again to everyone. I was just wondering if anyone could download the Science of Peace mp3 and burn to CD for me for a fee. I would be willing to pay for the mp3 and any materials, of course , and any fee you would charge to do this for me. My situation is this - Home computer has CD/DVD burner installed , but connection to internet is only 56k modem. Work computer is connected to DSL , but no burner.
If anyone is able to help me , please respond to this or e-mail me privately.
Thank you in advance.

While I am computer capable, well, I can burn a CD, I have a slow dinosaur dial up internet connection too. In my enthusiam to get a copy of the Science of Peace series I ordered late one evening without thinking. My son eventually downloaded the series and mailed me the CD's...do you have someone like that in your life?

Hello Everyone,

Before I closed this thread, I just wanted to remind everyone that Science of Peace downloads help David meet living expenses. Anyone can download the information, after paying the nominal fee, making a DVD unnecessary really. I am certain if anyone wants a permanent version on DVD, that they naturally understand this is a personal copy not to be copied or sold to others without DW's approval. This, of course, is infringing on copywrite laws, not to mention, robbing DW of income to live if DVD's are passed around without paying for the download first.

I am trusting that we all respect each other enough here not to hurt David in this manner. My remarks in no way are to reflect on any previous posters in this thread, and I want to be clear that I do not believe anyone participating in this discussion was abusing DW's copywrite privelege whatsoever (I believe everyone in this thread to be honest and forthright). My comments are for informational purposes and solely meant to clarify the difference between "sharing" and "taking" someone else's work. Thank you all, Chris

Chris and others,
Thank you all for the responses . Do not worry , I will get help from the nice folks who e-mailed me (thanks again , Anne) , and I plan on giving the Divine Cosmos website a $100 donation next week , after my paycheck clears. I would never even think of shorting David , after all it is his work that keeps us all here!
Take care all,
Greg.
