in the book decoding the message of the pulsars, from more than 1500 known pulsars a half dozen pulsars were singled out as possibly conveying an intelligent message. three of these are the crab pulsar, the vela pulsar, and the vulpecula pulsar, whose periods and period derivatives are listed in the table below.
period and period derivatives for three unique pulsars measured in may 1992
(from table 3 of decoding the message of the pulsars)
pulsar period (seconds) rate of change of period (s/s)
crab pulsar 0.033403347 4.209599 x 10-13
vela pulsar 0.089298530 1.258 ± 0.008 x 10-13
vulpecula pulsar 0.144457105 5.75318 x 10-14
a brief review about the significance of this tri-pulsar subset
all three of these pulsars are among the very few that are found to be associated with supernova remnants. the vulpecula pulsar is distinguished as being the one pulsar that happens to be positioned closest to the galaxy's northern one-radian point meridian and which makes a key trajectory sighting with the millisecond pulsar (see the book dmp for the full significance). the vela and crab pulsars are very distinctive. not only are they respectively the brightest and most luminous of all pulsars, as well as among the few known to emit optical pulses and giant pulses, but they also mark the two young supernova remnants that reside closest to our solar system. the supernova explosion dates of the remnants they mark coincide with the time when the 14,150 year bp superwave cosmic ray volley was impacting their progenitor stars. the vela pulsar marks a location near our solar system while the crab pulsar marks a location 6,585 light years away toward the galactic anticenter and the superwave cosmic ray volley that impacted us about 14,150 years ago is currently seen impacting the crab remnant. as described in decoding the message of the pulsars, the vela pulsar's period is gradually increasing and if we project this period change back in time, we find that 14,100 ± 100 years ago vela's period would have equaled the crab pulsar's current period. it was suggested that this gradually changing period was intentionally engineered as a chronometric indicator of the date when the last major galactic superwave passed through our solar system.

i like to think of the pulsars as the "atomic clocks" of the universe...keeping us in sync with what's going on at galactic central (i.e. great central sun or the black hole of our gallaxy).

scientists at purdue university have created a new design for an invisibility cloak.
...while doing some research on the cloak itself, i’ve come across two separate and unique ways to achieve the invisibility effect. 1) paul did an article about duke university, back in october 2006, which created a cloaking “cylinder” which hides it’s contents from certain wavelengths of light. this cylinder works by using what some researchers have called “metamaterials” or materials that when engineered properly, have properties (in this case, electromagnetic properties) unlike what you get from typical fabrication processes. these “metamaterials” bend waves of energy back around an object after these waves have been displaced by the normal object. plus, 2) the scientists at purdue university have published a design where tiny metal needles are placed in a cone-much like a hairbrush pattern-in a way that forces light and other waves to pass around it harmlessly. unlike the duke design, where some is reflected and refracted, the light completely bends around the cone of rods, making the object completely disappear. while there have been many attempts at active camoflage before (see the invisibility coat), these two ideas are the first true-to-physics concepts. the result is, although not perfectly, a mirror image of the initial emission of light waves.

scientists find clues to the formation of fibonacci spirals in nature
by lisa zyga
conical shapes with irregularities produce parastichous spiral ‘x’ patterns, such as on the scientists’ microstructure at left, and a strawberry at right. credit: li, et al. ©2007 applied physics letters.
while the aesthetics and symmetry of fibonacci spiral patterns has often attracted scientists, a mathematical or physical explanation for their common occurrence in nature is yet to be discovered. recently, scientists have successfully produced fibonacci spiral patterns in the lab, and found that an elastically mismatched bi-layer structure may cause stress patterns that give rise to fibonacci spirals. the discovery may explain the widespread existence of the pattern in plants.
chaorong li, of the zhejiang sci-tech university and the institute of physics in beijing, along with ailing ji and zexian cao, both of the chinese academy of sciences, produced their fibonacci spiral pattern by manipulating the stress on inorganic microstructures made of a silver core and a silicon dioxide shell. the spontaneous assembly of fibonacci patterns has rarely been realized in the laboratory, and the scientists’ results suggest that plant patterns might be modeled by mutually repulsive entities for both spherical and conical surfaces.

god does play dice with the universe
we live in a classical world. yet there is a ghostlike atomic world underneath. everyone knows that a ball is composed of atoms. but nobody knows what atoms look like, and especially, how in hell atoms move. they don’t look like small balls at all; for instance, a single atom can pass through two slits at the same time. the more stunning fact is that we don’t exactly know how a ball moves either. it appears to move in a continuous way. this, however, is a mere illusion. even the greatest scientists newton and einstein were also deluded by the appearance.
this popular science book will reveal a deep secret of nature for the first time. it is that every object in the universe, no matter it is an atom or a ball or even a star, jumps in a random and discontinuous way. in a famous metaphor, god does play dice with the universe. this strange picture of reality is so incredible that even nobody has dreamed of it. but it is real. discovering motion is not continuous but discontinuous and random is like finding the earth is not at rest but moving. it is really amazing!

scientists convert the sequence of proteins into music
ucla molecular biologists have turned protein sequences into original compositions of classical music.
"we converted the sequence of proteins into music and can get an auditory signal for every protein," said jeffrey h. miller, distinguished professor of microbiology, immunology and molecular genetics, and a member of ucla's molecular biology institute. "every protein will have its unique auditory signature because every protein has a unique sequence. you can hear the sequence of the protein."
"we assigned a chord to each amino acid," said rie takahashi, a ucla research assistant and an award-winning, classically trained piano player. "we want to see if we can hear patterns within the music, as opposed to looking at the letters of an amino acid or protein sequence. we can listen to a protein, as opposed to just looking at it."
the building blocks of proteins are linear sequences of 20 different amino acids. assigning one note for each amino acid therefore results in a 20-note scale.
"a 20-note scale is too large a range," takahashi said. "you need a reduced scale, so we paired similar amino acids together and used chords and chord variations for each amino acid. we used each component of the music to indicate a specific characteristic of the protein. we are faithful in the conversion from the sequence to the music. the rhythm is dictated by the protein sequence."
gene2music
examples of protein music based on our final algorithm can be heard and viewed below. with respect to recognizing repeating patterns in the protein music sequences, we show two main examples: the huntingtin and lacy permease proteins. huntington's disease is an example of a triplet repeat disorder in which an expansion of a repeated glutamine sequence causes the protein to lose its proper function. such an expansion leads to a late-onset neurological disorder. the lacy permease protein spans the membrane of escherichia coli and has a distinct hydrophobic region of phenylalanines. this sequence facilitates the protein to move through the bacterial membrane. in the huntingtin example, one can hear an obvious repeated pattern of glutamines and polyprolines, and this pattern can be compared to the less obvious repeated pattern of phenylalanines heard in the lacy permease. see project evolution for a description of our coding optimization.
it is important to note that our coding assignment can be reversed with respect to tonal assignments as well as rhythm. for example, the lower notes can be assigned to the hydrophilic amino acids rather than the hydrophobic. we show examples of the human thya protein using reverse coding below.

scientists levitate small animals
scientists have now levitated small live animals using sounds that are, well, uplifting.
in the past, researchers at northwestern polytechnical university in xi'an, china, used ultrasound fields to successfully levitate globs of the heaviest solid and liquid-iridium and mercury, respectively. the aim of their work is to learn how to manufacture everything from pharmaceuticals to alloys without the aid of containers. at times compounds are too corrosive for containers to hold, or they react with containers in other undesirable ways.
"an interesting question is, 'what will happen if a living animal is put into the acoustic field?' will it also be stably levitated?" researcher wenjun xie, a materials physicist at northwestern polytechnical university, told livescience.
xie and his colleagues employed an ultrasound emitter and reflector that generated a sound pressure field between them. the emitter produced roughly 20-millimeter-wavelength sounds, meaning it could in theory levitate objects half that wavelength or less.
http://science.howstuffworks.com/acoustic-levitation.htm
how acoustic levitation works
by tracy v. wilson
unless you travel into the vacuum of space, sound is all around you every day. but most of the time, you probably don't think of it as a physical presence. you hear sounds; you don't touch them. the only exceptions may be loud nightclubs, cars with window-rattling speakers and ultrasound machines that pulverize kidney stones. but even then, you most likely don't think of what you feel as sound itself, but as the vibrations that sound creates in other objects.
the idea that something so intangible can lift objects can seem unbelievable, but it's a real phenomenon. acoustic levitation takes advantage of the properties of sound to cause solids, liquids and heavy gases to float. the process can take place in normal or reduced gravity. in other words, sound can levitate objects on earth or in gas-filled enclosures in space
my impression is that they seem to be using piezoelectric crystals that are modulated in states of high e and b fields to generate the ultrasound. it would be interesting to learn if the levitation disappears in a vacuum through which sound wouldn't travel, or if it continues. my impression is there is some gravitic / magnetic mechanism at play causing the levitation more so than the acoustic phonon energies.

larry, this is great information. this technology will be sold, but hopefully to someone who understands that this man received a gift from the universe that must be made easily accessible to all. the "receiver" of this technology expressed a need to find funds to seek a cure for cancer, but in reality, maybe he has already been given that cure, something like a "2fer" :d !
what is most interesting, when you think about it, is that the most phenomenal "discoveries" do not require huge investments in technology. the universe gives them freely, when we are ready to receive them. it is truly unwise to transform such a gift into a cash cow....jo anne

blueprint for invisibility
our recent publication in science explores a new electromagnetic design approach. invisibility is possible, but...
the science fact and fiction of invisibility
there is undeniably a link between science fact and the ideas that emerge in science fiction and fantasy. science fiction authors are inspired by actual scientific and technological discoveries, but allow themselves the freedom to project the possible future course of these discoveries and their potential impact on society, perhaps remaining only weakly tethered to the facts. and, when faced with obstacles presented by the realities of actual technology, authors of fiction can break free from the tethers entirely, inventing completely imaginary technologies to move their storyline forward. however, the most skilled practitioners of the genre create compelling stories by having the fictional technology maintain some connection to either existing or at least projected technologies.
scientists, in turn, often derive inspiration from the imaginative possibilities that exist in fictional worlds, but are constrained to follow the laws of nature that apply in this world. the inventions in fictional worlds seldom transition to the real world,--at least not in the way they are first imagined. but it does happen. jules verne wrote about space ships and submarines before either were demonstrated. planet colonization and terraforming, space elevators and "bionic" replacement limbs are science fiction concepts that have not yet fully materialized into reality, but that are taken seriously by researchers and are very active research topics. the idea of semi-intelligent servant robots, once restricted entirely to the realm of fiction, is now actively being pursued by both academic and corporate researchers. already, we can buy roombas and robovacs to tidy up around the house!

electromagnetic analysis of cylindrical invisibility cloaks and the mirage effect

abstract
we present a finite-element analysis of a diffraction problem involving a coated cylinder enabling the electromagnetic cloaking of a lossy object with sharp wedges located within its core. the coating consists of a heterogeneous anisotropic material deduced from a geometrical transformation as first proposed by pendry [science 312, 1780 (2006)]. we analyze the electromagnetic response of the cloak in the presence of an electric line source in p polarization and a loop of magnetic current in s polarization. we find that the electromagnetic field radiated by such a source located a fraction of a wavelength from the cloak is perturbed by less than 1%. when the source lies in the coating, it seems to radiate from a shifted location.

my impression is that since he put his hand in the way without any adverse affect, that it isn't just hydrogen and oxygen dissociating - its also sodium from the salt. the test tube water didn't seem to be boiling. it may be that there's some gas at the surface formed that is flammable, like sodium hydroxide.

the structure of number
introduction
here at treeincarnation.com, we've been exploring and developing a new science which moves us closer to a grand unified theory (gut) , and which subtly differs from the current scientific goal for a gut.
the gut is the attempt to unify the four fundamental forces of physics, that is: gravitation, electromagnetism, the weak interaction, and the strong interaction. all well and good, but a truly unified theory would not be a theory of everything. after all, as soon as you define what looks to be everything, something new and unexpected inevitably crops up.
it recently occurred to me that what modern science is actually looking for, is the explanation for all 'things.' now, there are two ways of approaching such a dilemma. if you take the modern scientific approach, you set out to define all 'things' through intense study of all of the possible parts. but, there's an alternative to defining everything. that alternative would be to first examine what is not a thing.
unknown to me, this is where our experiments with number have been leading us. our study has been revealing number itself to be more than just a descriptive device or tag for mere counting of objects. number has it's own geometry, and by it's very nature is reflecting the archetypal patterns of the natural world. this is opening up a new scientific approach, which instead of assuming either physical substance or it's lack to be the 'ground state' of reality, takes number to be the prime reality. number is the metaphysical language of reality, which by it's very nature explains all that is physically manifest and unmanifest. this metaphysical aspect is beyond that which can be physically defined, it is beyond the category of 'thing-ness'.
it has been commented that, all thought, by definition is metaphysical, because thought is beyond that which is physically observable. but ironically, not only is metaphysical thinking that which allows such ideas to even exist, but furthermore our entire experience is nothing but metaphysical.
it seems to me that many areas of modern science have forgotten their own roots, because at heart they are all rooted in metaphysics. in fact, one of the greatest figures in modern science: isaac newton, was highly influenced by alchemy and other spiritual teachings. he was inspired to develop his laws of motion from the study of metaphysical teachings.
our experiments with number are likewise a metaphysics, as we are drawing on a diverse range of scientific traditions to broaden our horizons. these explorations, however subjective or objective, are a science in their own right.
there has been a lot of progress over the past few months, and now we have three articles exploring the structure and function of number. although these articles are documenting the progress of a new science, it's still hard to say with certainty where this new science is going. besides it being an exploration of meaning and truth, it seems that the process of discovery has been directing itself and by simply exploring this new territory we find many useful insights.
naturally, much of this early work will need updating and reevaluation as we continue to explore. finding any weak areas of theory will be an important opportunity. after all, if we are never wrong, how an we expect to learn what constitutes a truth.

considering that gentleman's work with the flaming salt water, wouldn't he notice something like chlorine gas?
just a thought...
i saw the videos, and wonder how it actually works.
but too often our western logical, left-brained society always wants a scientific answer.
i hope the work he's done comes out to be more than just a toy.
in reading the work on "zero", one word came to mind: "singularity".
maybe in some context, part of the study of one, is such a study...

this was pleasantly synchronistic with some of my own explorations until the 0^2 = 2 part. he is right to consider the shape he mentions as it is also the vector space which most perfectly describes the intersection of four planes such that the angles at intersection are most uniform etc. more interestingly, the shape is fundamentally comprised of tetrahedral elements/summetries (as well as octahedral). even more interestingly, the shape is directly related to a star tetrahedron if i remember correctly from some research two years ago. i spent days inspiredly constructing graphs and assembling paper models of this topic because it so entrenched my imagination.
i want to avoid resorting to definitions to explain why his approach to concluding that 0^2 = 2 troubles me. and it may simply be that i don't understand his logic which may in fact be sound.
but:
1 = sqrt(1) = sqrt((-1)(-1)) = i * i = i^2 = (sqrt(-1))^2 = -1
also seems logically sound and has a similarly troubling conclusion.. except that a definition about imaginary numbers (i) solves the potential paradox.
i'm confused why he alters the frequency formula (which is a trivial alteration since it doesn't actuallly change anything when 0 is plugged in) yet leaves the 2 alone, which is not trivial, and actually has profound importance in such an equation. in the end it lead him to a paradox. my suspicion which i don't plan to research more fully (since i'm not too fond of topopogy, nor will i have much time available since i'm preparing to head to africa with the peace corps to... teach math of all things) is that there is a definition which he overlooked and which lead him to conclude that which he does.
as for the relation this may have to topologies of singularities, one can easily discover the beauty of singularities by using zero (without involving any funky and unnecessary paradoxes). imagine unity being divided into zero pieces. it dosn't matter which unity you discuss -- which shape or ideal one -- the process of dividing it into zero pieces is a singularity and expresses just how fantastic these things are. as a hint, the limit as x approaches zero (from the right) of 1/x (unity divided into x pieces) is... you guessed it... infinite. just as interesting is that the same limit but from the left is negative infinity. so by travelling an infinitessimal distance form the left to the right, near zero, over such a singularity, involves traversing infinite distances up and down. this is the nature of a singularity.
and as a secondary puzzle to ponder (you'll never tire of pondering the above singularity if you like numbers), you may want to consider what 0^0 (zero to the zero power) looks like... or various other applications which involve zero. the simple truth is that when handling zero and the infinite, as a professor once stated, your intuition can easily deceive you (and i don't mean to suggest that your intuition is wrong, but to imply that the subject is inherently full of confusion).
one of my conclusions, which is still being calculated in my head as i write this, and as i layed awake in bed a few weeks ago, is that of all the numbers in existence, three concepts of number have the most profound relationship -- the extent of which may be... infinite -- and those "numbers" are 0, 1, and infinity.
here's another fun one.. infinity + infinity = infinity^infinity = infinity + 1 = infinity - 1 = infinity .... think about it :)
in any case, before i go to bed (cause i'm getting deleriously tired) i'd like to mention that the article "light eye" posted about the mathematical universe hypothesis is quite possibly the most fundamentally insightful piece that can be read if you're pondering the importance of "number" or mathematics in general to the universe and existence.

doug yurchey: atlantis was a continent in the atlantic ocean and connected to 12 other colonies that formed a perfect grid around the earth. we know this now because of the long-awaited, (by a handful of people) new discovery in canada. precisely where a map of atlantis from 1974 predicted something would be found, something has been found by google earth. here are the coordinates of a nazca-like (image) indian seen from high in the air: 50 degrees 0'38.20" n 110 degrees 6'48.32" w. use google earth yourself to zoom down on the area and take your own photos! at the end of the article are more downloaded pictures of the canadian terrain that appears as an indian. after examining details of the image, the conclusions are obvious. the copper colored hills, like an indian head penny, were shaped and not natural formations. what is an indian doing in canada? the indian in the mountains is the first evidence of prehistoric canadians!
there are no pyramids, monoliths, stone circles, petroglyphs, mounds or ancient burials in canada. but, there should be evidence of early indians in the vast northern country. if indians walked to the americas from asia over a land-bridge at the bering strait, why is there no trace of prehistoric ruins of any kind in canada? this mystery is huge and ignored by archeologists and educators. the indian-absence means their entire picture of the past is wrong and backwards!
thor heyerdaul did not prove indians arrived by boat. his better built, second attempt at proving an obsolete misconception sank with the ra ii.
the farther back we go in time, the more advanced technically (and mentally) were the indian civilizations. we know this by 'reading' or studying the physical stonework, what ruins they left behind. the anastasi, hopi and cahokia mound-builders were more advanced than the later indians of the old west. the aztec stone-builders were more advanced than the great earth-movers, the anastasi/cahokians. the maya were superior to the aztec. the toltec age came before the maya and they were greater than the maya. toltecs' ancestors were the inca; they built impossible stonework on top of the andes mountains! incas farmed on mountaintops many thousands of years ago where no one can live today. the pre-inca constructed stonework 'impossible' by present-day standards. they had no hieroglyphs because of the unbelievable reason that the pre-inca had no need for a written or spoken language! (psychic-society) the same can be said for the pre-egyptians an ocean away. they were the survivors of, yet another, superior and previous age...the age of atlantis.

i found this cool site about the earth grids, you can download both google earth and python and scripts to create earth grids for the planet then go to anyplace on earth and see how the grid lines cross and intersect. the instructions were helpful but need further clarification. when you download the googleearth bearing and coord files put them in a file easy to find, when you open python go to left top and go to file open then open the script, then open google earth and it will have the ley lines superimposed on the planet. have fun with it, donald
this is a quick write-up of my ongoing research into the earth grid. for what it’s worth, here it is…
summary
skip to the next section if you wish.
within the spherical center of large masses is a neutral center. john keely worked extensively with the vibrational neutral centers of resonating masses. i define the neutral center as a point at which the gravitational field sums to zero but gravitational potential is quite high. if sufficiently high, time slows to a crawl and becomes imaginary, meaning spacetime breaks down and opens a window into other dimensions and densities. the cassiopaeans said the centers of stars and planets are windows.
neutral centers can be created electromagnetically via radially converging or diverging electric current pulses, spherical standing waves in piezoelectric materials, or via the radial null vectors of large masses as described above.
the earth’s own neutral center is a dimensional window that vibrates at frequencies resonant with the earth’s own spherical harmonics. i’m not certain whether these spherical harmonics correlate to mechanical, electromagnetic, or gravitational vibrations. whatever the case, standing waves are set up that create equally spaced node and antinodal points on earth’s surface. these points are spaced in various configurations matching the platonic solids: tetrahedron, octahedron, cube, icosahedron, and dodecahedron.
these standing waves pull from the central dimensional window multiple vortical conduits. unlike a neutral center which has a null point in the middle of a sphere, these vortical conduits have a null axis inside a tubular vortex. they pierce the earth’s surface at the aforementioned node or antinode points.
thus, there are dimensional window points spaced equally apart on the earth’s surface – these are the primary earth grid points and correspond to the vertices of the platonic solids. their electromagnetic configuration includes little if any magnetic, electric, or gravitational components except in special circumstances at special times. their primary electromagnetic structure consists of potential fields, both magnetic, electric, and gravitational potential, which are not easily detectable.
based on calculations, one possible magnetic profile of such a conduit should consist of circular magnetic fields that are weakest at the center and increase in magnitude with distance from the center, a vector plot looking similar to how wheat is laid down in crop circles. this is exactly the reverse of how ordinary magnetic fields behave, which drop off with distance instead. this “reverse magnetism” was hinted by the annotators of the book case for the ufo in regards to gridpoints.
safe to say, specialized instruments are needed to detect these gridpoints. such conduits may, however, alter the dynamic characteristics of oscillating electric and magnetic fields brought into them, so a device that can measure displacement current would suffice.

teleportation method proposed by australian scientists
teleportation, a concept popularised in the original star trek television series, is edging closer to reality through work being conducted by theorists from the university of queensland and australian national university.
researchers from uq's australian research centre for quantum atom optics (dr ashton bradley, dr simon haine and dr murray olsen) and australian national university (joseph hope) have proposed a new way of teleporting matter waves.
“we propose a scheme which allows an atom laser beam to disappear at one location and reappear at another,” dr bradley said.
“we feel that our scheme is closer in spirit to the original fictional concept,” dr haine said.
“what differentiates our scheme from what is usually termed quantum teleportation is that our scheme does not require the sender and receiver to share entangled states, as there is no measurement step involved in sending the information.
"in this scheme the sender and receiver require a reservoir of extremely cold atoms, known as a bose-einstein condensate (bec).

möbius strip unravelled
mathematicians solve 75-year-old mystery of infinite loop's shape.
louis buckley
eugene starostin's desk is littered with rectangular pieces of paper. he picks one up, twists it, and joins the two ends with a pin. the resulting shape has a beautiful simplicity to it — the mathematical symbol for infinity () in three-dimensional form. "look," he says, as he traces his finger along its side, "whatever path you take, you always end up where you started."
discovered independently by two german mathematicians in 1858 — but named after just one of them — the möbius strip has beguiled artists, illuminated science lessons and stubbornly resisted definition.
until now, that is. starostin and his colleague gert van der heijden, both of university college london, have solved a conundrum that has perplexed mathematicians for more than 75 years — how to predict what three-dimensional form a möbius strip will take.

the internal 'orchestra' of the earth
john bullitt playfully demonstrates how he listens to the sound of objects. (suzanne kreiter/globe staff)
by billy baker
globe correspondent / january 21, 2008
back in the '80s, when he was a seismologist doing research at mit, john bullitt tinkered in his spare time with recordings of the earth's internal vibrations, trying to write computer programs that would speed up the data and turn it into sound.
audio listen to some of john bullitt's recordings
he never quite got what he was looking for out of his recordings (or his other scientific research, for that matter), and soon left the professional science world to study buddhism.
two years ago, shortly before he was to turn 50, bullitt began to feel like he and the earth had some unfinished business. he rented a studio space in somerville, purchased some high-end sound equipment, and returned to his scientific work.
after several months of tedious labor, working to synchronize the vibrations recorded by a global network of digital seismographs and then shift their frequencies up a number of octaves and speed them up several hundred times to make them audible to the human ear, bullitt was finally able to put on his headphones and listen to the internal orchestra of the earth in a way no one else had done before.
"i immediately burst into tears," bullitt recalled. "it was just too beautiful. it made me feel wonderfully connected with the planet in an entirely new way."
he used his seismologic recordings as the basis for two projects which premiered last year - "earth dome," an immersive sound installation at his space in the joy street artist studios, which allows visitors to feel what it would sound like to sit inside of the earth; and the "earth sound," a cd which features a haunting track of the sounds generated by the huge 2004 earthquake that triggered the deadly indian ocean tsunami.

studying waves seems to be the help here. from earthchanges newsletter i found this:
geologists at the university of illinois have confirmed the discovery of earth's inner - innermost core. using both newly acquired data and legacy data collected around the world, geologist xiaodong song and postdoctoral research associate xinlei sun have published their findings in the journal "earth and planetary science". composed mainly of iron, earth's core consists of a solid inner core about 2,400 kilometers in diameter and a fluid outer core about 7,000 kilometers in diameter. the inner core plays an important role in the geo-dynamo that generates earth's magnetic field.
the solid inner core is elastically anisotropic, meaning seismic waves have different speeds along different directions. the anisotropy has been found to change with hemisphere and with radius. in the latest work, professors sun and song describe another anomaly - a global structure found within the inner core.
"to constrain the shape of the inner core anisotropy (seismic waves), we needed a uniform distribution of seismic waves traveling in all directions through the core," professor sun said. "since the seismic waves we studied were generated by earthquakes, one challenge was acquiring enough seismic waves recorded at enough stations."
and then from that, i found an article about these illinois researchers:

matter is made of waves
" the material universe is made purely out of aether "
by gabriel lafreniere.
this wave is an electron. it is made of spherical standing waves.
actually, these are not "standing" but rather moving thanks to the doppler effect.
this artificial 3-d mode displays the phase in green and the phase opposition in red.
this allows the zero amplitude to be displayed in black in order to enhance the phase wave on the right.
just waves
this web site explains that there is nothing else but the aether, and that matter is made solely of waves. yes, i realize that this may sound ridiculous. however i know a lot about optics, waves and physics, and i maintain that this is true.
one may ask any well known scientist how a photon works. he will not be able to provide an acceptable explanation. even worse, he will also answer that light is made of electric and magnetic fields, but he still will be unable to explain how such fields work. this means that he simply ignores the true nature of light.
we are standing in front of the unknown. the goal is to find the truth. so our first step should be to propose hypotheses and examine them.
actually, i can explain light and i am the only one who can. nobody else ever proposed an acceptable hypothesis.
i will propose many assumptions throughout these pages. if you are a scientist, and you are unable to propose some of your own, please do not reject my ideas simply because they sound ridiculous. you should examine them first. and if you disagree with them, you need an acceptable reason.

i would just like to add on to the post above me by showing the research of ray tomes about the wave structure of matter (http://youtube.com/watch?v=8btcmugdlcu&feature=playlist&p=804b5a8d2e390874&index=8)
"matter is made of spherical standing waves. a standing wave is a wave that may be thought of as two waves traveling in opposite directions. for a particle, this means an incoming wave converging o the centre and an outgoing wave coming out of the centre, which is just the incoming wave after it travels through the centre.
"seeing matter as real waves rather than just probabilities is consistent with the thinking of schroedinger and de broglie who established the important formula for the behaviour of particle waves. my own studies are consistent with milo wolff, yuri ivanov and gabriel la freniere and lead to the formulae of relativity and quantum mechanics in a realistic way without any hocus pocus. geof hazelhurst and karen howie have developed a substantial web site on this."
if you read further into (more info) you will find an intriguing 3 part dissertation entitled "how to make a universe".
and if you dig even further, eventually you will find this fascinating piece of research: http://ray.tomes.biz/maths.html

in physics, a unified field theory is a type of field theory that allows all of the fundamental forces between elementary particles to be written in terms of a single field. there is no accepted unified field theory yet, and this remains an open line of research. the term was coined by albert einstein who attempted to unify the general theory of relativity with electromagnetism. a theory of everything is closely related to unified field theory, but differs by not requiring the basis of nature to be fields, and also attempts to explain all physical constants of nature.
this article describes unified field theory as it is currently understood in connection with quantum theory. earlier attempts based on classical physics are described in the article on classical unified field theories.
there may be no a priori reason why the correct description of nature has to be a unified field theory; however, this goal has led to a great deal of progress in modern theoretical physics and continues to motivate research. unified field theory is only one possible approach to unification of physics.

i'm new here, but i wanted to share some information that i have been studying for years that might be beneficial for some of you. i am a musician and as such i have studied the science of vibration for many years and have found a few similarities that i would like to point out. first we have to understand the musical scale. there are 7 "perfect" notes if you will. we will be focusing on the big 7 which are a-b-c-d-e-f-g. after we reach g the whole pattern repeats at what we call a higher octave, if we go below a, we get a lower octave and so on. let introduce color. did you know that color has a vibration as well? every one of the 7 notes has a corresponding color as well. so we have the notes a-b-c-d-e-f-g and red - orange - yellow - green - blue - purple- indigo respectively. it is interesting to know that the color red has the same vibrations the note c played on a piano. the only difference is that it is vibrating at a different octave!!!!!
imagine if you will a piano that stretches further than the eye can see. on this piano we have our 7 major notes (white keys) with our sharps and flats (black keys) that repeat to higher or lower octaves. let us say that lower on our piano we have touch. touch is a vibration. yes!!! i swear!!! so let’s say the first octave we come to is touch with smell and taste in their own octaves. next we have sound, then sight (which as we know from above are the same notes in different octaves). so when we move past sight on our piano we start coming to more occult related octaves such as telepathy and psychometry as well as other things of that nature.
so it could be understood that different things vibrate at different octaves in different dimensions. science has discovered that stars and the earth itself actually vibrate at certain notes. now let’s bring spirituality into it. let's say we are playing a song in the key of g. g, we know, is also the color blue. now a funny thing is that most blues musician play in the key of g, and when we hear these songs they make us feel sad inside, they make us feel blue!!! so the blues are actually blue!!! weird??? not hardly. those who study chakras may know that we have 7 main chakras. each chakra has a color associated with it and thus a sound or note, but also an emotion. so could it be that our emotions are vibrating at certain colors and sounds as well? as we are dimensional beings our souls are always seeing into the other dimension and though we know it not, it relays info of these colors to our subconscious mind that we process into our way of thinking on this world. so we see the aura's of others whether we know it or not and this gives us impressions on what that person's traits are. how you ever heard the term green with envy? are not cowards yellow? (or yeller... lol!!!) are we not red with anger? these are the colors our aura puts off when we are feeling these emotions.
now lets take it one step further and say that in life our purpose is to make our chakras "perfect" notes. we may have a few “perfect" chakras but perhaps we still need to learn a few more lessons and and 2 out of our 7 chakras still need work. a muddy chakra presents a muddy color. people that have a real dingy yellow in their aura are cowards, but courageous people have a bright and clear yellow in their aura that almost looks divine. that is because they are vibrating at the correct note!!! think of a guitar. if you tune the string too low, it may still sound like a "c" note, but is still off a bit. now if we tighten that string just a little (raise the vibration) it is now perfectly in tune. so what happens when we "tune" all our chakras? enlightenment!!!! david wilcock had a slide showing that when all chakras are opened or "tuned" they actually come together instead of being separate. now what happens when we put all the colors together? we get white!!!! the color of purity and spirituality!!!! white is nothing more than a vibration containing all colors and thus we move into the next "octave" if you will, or next plane of existence. this is because our spirits are now vibrating at a higher octave than we are currently at on this world. mr. wilcock also has a slide showing that when a perfect note is introduced to water it makes a shape. i wonder how the shape each note makes in water compares to the chakras and their respective geometrical labels? i have not researched this yet, but will be interested to see the results.
i figured that this would be good info for this thread. how this helps show the basics of vibration for some of you and the paths that it can lead to.

many people have heard the term speed of light but what some don't know is that it is. one of psychics constants as far as how fast a particle is measured by speed and this far there hasn't been any observation of something naturally traveling at the speed of light. that may soon change as pointed out in this article. they think they have measured a particle that is barely faster than the speed of light but still quite important to the scientific community. this is not final but they say it looks to be like sound science this far. if i am attentive enough i will try to keep it updated from time to time.

maybe it's not that something is going faster than the speed of light, but it's just light speeding up? i see a great rise in energy soon... these are our thoughts speeding up becoming more absolute. eventually we will fall free into infinity when we can be outside of time...we are only following what the ancient created for us! remember that when we look into the deep space we are observing the past! so technically past exists ahead of us and behind us... makes you wander, doesn't is? so we are also happening to someone's observation deep in space, ahead but in the past... not behind and in the future, but really we are on the same time line and events are happening there, at least some because what we see alive might be already dead! peace be with you -ra ma

i think it is so funny that we would be seen that way also if people had technology that wasn't much more advanced than us. i am sure that more advanced ones could just view us in real time or send messengers that can travel interdimensionally to do some of the dirty work if it is needed and maybe others and yourself have thought of this also which either way is cool. but i do hope the energy that has been stimulating consciousness and matter will continue with it's momentum. i am sure it will be even more evident in the years to come if we are staying on our current course.

here is something that came to mind after i read it:
it is a strange allignment for sure. there is a book series called [please pm for title], im sure some of you have read these. in the later of the series it goes into how he can comunicate to other planets instantly, or rather in real time. it was through a type of cord system throught all of space, not actualy cords but best description. when something is said in any part its heard at the same time. i think being able to communicate with the field is the same type of thing. rather then words though it transfers thought outside of space/time, and creates the time/space. our thoughts are compatible, just not our methods of expression (language).
so basicly once a thought is introduced to the field, it then goes to the mind/body/consciousness it syncs with for the answer. regardless of the time, place, or distance.
technicaly this would be faster then light, but it never realy moved. it's all a part of the field, and is only merging the two. much like how a mind connects thoughts. they are seperated, but always at hand.

so please correct me if im wrong, but wasnt the low frequency vibrations mentioned to be the basis or platform for higher frequencies? the reason im asking is because, i had been wondering for a while if our means of astral communication were within this low frequency field. so in example, something like the iron core of earth is like a satelite for our thoughts. the question arose for me when i was trying to figure out what element had pushed elephants and whales to grow to thier massive size. both have amazing senses, and communicate via low frequency sound.
we had been discussing sound and colors in a different thread, and i think this low frequency is our black in spectrum. not only because its the core and dark, but because it would be any conscious thought could access it. black isnt just one color, its every color all mixed up (unbias) and like subconscious since we cant ever see it. white (the sun) being consciousness, visible and observable mentaly and physicaly.
this thought hit me because of this girl that see's music as colors. she says she cant stand alot of bass though, because all she see's is black squares. she describes the higher colors as flowing and vibrant, so i wondered why the bass would be so sharp and intrussive.
anyway, i thought you all might enjoy pondering these thoughts as well haha :)

you are very perceptive in your understandings!
do remember, my friend, that tis not only the frequencies that plays their role in this, but also the instrument that is picking them up! our receptors are only able to pick up what genetics allows them to pick up. other animals can see and hear much more than us; others less!
the 1st density beings are unaware and thus they feel no separation between them, the source and other things in the universe. hence, the frequencies flow through them naturally without any resistance from the instrument!
as awareness begins to raise through the 2nd density, through the co-creators, evolution adjusts the needs of the creatures (what they want/need and not want/need to hear or see in order to learn and experience the reality how they want/need to experience it). this only happens on planets/star systems with free will in effect. thus the abundance in variety of 2d species!

no seperation would be like a hive mind or colony? these are smaller in comparible sizes of life. more seperation would be bigger like a elephant and whale?
lets just say for a moment that my assumptions are correct and they have been communicating with the earth's core. so this would be total communication but no connection personaly, like they basicly have to ask questions to find the answer and cant visualize it. the hive mind would be total visualization, totaly personal since they are like one but get no responses its just felt. we would be smack in the middle, feeling things (asking questions) with visual responses (mind or sight visual). we feel it and see it.
if this would be taking place, what have they been asking? they say elephants have amazing memory, i wonder if its the same for whales. if they have total communication, they must also know the answers. they just wouldnt be able to tell us or maybe not even care, or not even want too since people keep shooting them.
i've also noticed this spectrum in 3 different platforms on earth. underwater, land, and sky. each have the same levels of life, subteranian to off the ground level. for example the ocean: there is creatures under the sand, creatures on the sand and rocks, then to off the rocks and more in the water, then to out of the water (flying fish, mudskippers, any jumping out of the highest surface). same levels of lifestyles on land, underground, on ground, above ground, off the ground into trees, then out of trees into sky (flying squirrels, flying lizards, or any glider). the skies levels seem to blend through the others. but starts at water level. in the water, on the water, off the water onto the land, off the land and in the trees, off the trees and more in the sky (migratory birds).

i guess i left out our platform haha. ours would be the whole field. what we dont cover in body, we try to cover in mind. we go from the lowest platforms to beyond our highest, and onto another to cover the whole. we are pushed to look further, look further in and further out. perhaps like the double slit experiment (particles lose thier density and act like a wave when not observed), it wants our observance so it can step on the side of existing as memory.
my question is what would this goal be? we have a signature of sorts for what we search for. perhaps it gives this observant existance, as a test to that balances flow. to fullfill its want of existance, and our want of life.

A few key quotes:
When supernovae explode, life has prospered. 'The evolution of life mirrors the evolution of the Galaxy,' says Prof Henrik Svensmark of the Technical University of Denmark
Prof. Henrik Svensmark of the Technical University of Denmark says that when a supernova is close enough to the Solar System, galactic cosmic rays wash over the Earth.
As our sun has 'travelled' through the Milky Way, different star clusters have caused life to blossom - explosions in the Pleiades, for instance, caused diversity in undersea creatures called ammonites, often seen in fossils.
Prof. Svensmark looked back through 500 million years of geological and astronomical data and considered the proximity of the Sun to supernovae as it moves around our Galaxy, the Milky Way
Comparing this with the geological record, he found that the changing frequency of nearby supernovae seems to have strongly shaped the conditions for life on Earth.
Whenever the Sun and its planets have visited regions of enhanced star formation in the Milky Way Galaxy, where exploding stars are most common, life has prospered.
Prof. Svensmark remarks in the paper, ‘The biosphere seems to contain a reflection of the sky, in that the evolution of life mirrors the evolution of the Galaxy.’
The question is whether this is specific toward the photon belt often described in new-age scientific discussions or the galactic center. Are we expecting a supernova, or about to ride the tail end of one or already doing so? Does this have anything to do with what we're undergoing now?
Here is another article which confirms this. (http://www.nature.com/news/ancient-text-gives-clue-to-mysterious-radiation-spike-1.10898)

Hello everyone
I don't know if you ever heart of the Global Scaling Theory.
In my opinion it is a very interesting approach for calculating and describing the reality.
If you are interested in getting know this theory start reading the Global Scaling Theory Compendium:
http://www.global-scaling-institute.de/files/gscompv18_en.pdf
As you can see in the Publication Section on the official homepage of Global Scaling all started in Russia:
http://www.global-scaling-institute.de/50-1-Publications.html
Have fun in studying and trying to connect with the findings and readings of David Wilcock. I am sure it is gonna match because every thing is Sacred Geometry.
If you see some interesting connections please let us all know. Thanks for sharing.
Light, love and power for everyone
Adrian
This "Reality" is 3D, Is It Not? I feel, as a mere child of This World and All Beyond, that 3d Holographic Illusions are ... Possible. ;)

This is mind-boggling. I am going to try and find out more about this, but here is what I found on 3D simulation of our universe.
"Physicists from the University of Bonn, Germany, published their findings in a pre-print on arXiv. Even using the world’s most powerful supercomputers, physicists have only managed to simulate tiny corners of the cosmos, only a few femtometers across.
The significant point is that the simulation is almost indistinguishable from reality, as much as we understand of it. This is one of the reasons why some physicists consider the possibility that our entire Universe could be running on a vastly powerful computer network. Silas Beane et al. say that there are ways to see if we are being simulated, in certain scenarios."

Ive been watching The Holographic Universe and was on to part two and they are currently talking about how in the holographic universe model the collapse the wave function is actually the brains interpretation of information downloaded from the source field and I got to thinking maybe this is how reiki healing or even telepathy or other strange phenomenom work only in reverse, meaning that some people can upload information to the source field that would in turn cause information to be downloaded to the person the healing is being sent to!?
Maybe its not but it just made me think that maybe that could be a possibility!
Possibly lots of people can actually communicate, influence or change the source field by uploading information rather than downloading it!?
Who knows but am off to watch the rest of part two, this series for some reason is much easier to understand and grasp than other things Ive watched to do with the holographic universe, physics and especially the double slit experiment, it all finally makes some sense!!
Anyway it would be interesting to hear others view on this.
Also I was thinking too if my brain is interpreting information downloaded from the source field and my brain is decoding and projecting it as my reality then maybe this could be something to do with the visual stuff I get, afterimages, weird blobs of light and dark, hallucinations and other weird visual stuff!? Sometimes I do wonder where some of my more frightening thoughts or images in my head come from because they are of things that are not anything to do with me at all its almost like they are being put there or maybe its just my ability to see things from other points of view and knowing some of the terrible things that happen out there and maybe thats the reason!? I really dont know but where do these horrible, terrifying and evil images and things come from? Does anybody else get things like this?? Maybe I am crazy :|
