>i should be writing the book now, but this was too tempting not to answer. to some of you this answer will clearly bubble over into the lunatic fringe, if you're not comfortable or familiar with the ra series and all the weight of evidence to tie everything together. nevertheless, i will state my understandings and leave it to you to decide. truly i don't mind at all if people disagree or think i'm crazy; time will provide the answers.

> this is why, the more i read the ra material and david's material, the more i believe that the goal is not neccessarily "ascension" per se - rather, it's just to try to make the best, most educational and self-bettering use of each and every moment of your life. if you (decide to) ascend, then great! if you decide not to, then that's cool too. but my understanding of what ra says is that the only reason there is an ascension (besides the obvious physics aspects of the dimensional shift) is so that a soul may better experience the creator. which means just learning and getting the most out of life. if that's your goal, then ascension shouldn't really be a big deal, because it will function just like every other event in your life - it will give you an opportunity to learn.
