View Full Version : Oh, the past, the past of it all.

I was wondering. Starting from the basis that our past lives are in fact happening at the current moment, how does that change things.
It means we can influence our past lives and change them? Therefore whole events can theoretically change.

I've wondered the same thing!
one impression is that as experience works to crystalize memory we may better appreciate how crystalized memories can positively influence our experience of the present moment, especially from a perspective of arriving to the present moment with greater appreciation and empathy in a way which promotes behaviors motivated out of growing levels of gratitude and compassion. In this way our experience can work to evolve us to live true to our human potentials.

Things are constantly changing... nothing is set. Since everything is happening at one time (past, present & future) perhaps all that really matters is the present moment we are consciously aware of.

I tend to see my "past lives", etc. as a catalyst for improvement. I must integrate and accept and move on into what I (we) have manifested. I believe there is a plan and it does matter which wall you paint first, or the colors you use as long as the whole room gets a shiny new coat.
Peace,

ALl things are one yet they are veiled in matter. This must be with my memories too , crystalized as on a veil. I never thought much about the veil until I relaized that a veil covers or separates something. Sometimes I can choose to see through the veil by choice and sometimes the veil has so much design or layers on it that I am not able to perceive anything. Lately some deep memories have become clearer because I can choose to see them. Most importantly accept them. By that I mean I am not trying to change them, alter them. I am seeking to have compassion on my self at the time that the events left markers on me so that the rest of my developement was predetermined by fear. Now as an adult I can pray, think, meditate, and ask for the love that I need to accept myself and the other persons.
Seeing the veil , seeing beyond the veil , and interpreting what is, takes reflection ( meditation)time/space so that space/time can be complete ( seeing literally). It is all one: veils cloth the light some veils are time/space ,material some are light, space/time, inverisions/exversions. How do I learn to see through and with, both, and or so all is one? It happens for me when I meditate. I see when I am quiet and I am looking up. I see the veil in the sky as a thin line of white (ghosting) light. I have wondered sometimes if I am projecting this white light . It is there.

It was Q'uo 20060528 that was talking about the veil of Venus being lighter and so allowing for rapid progression (similar to Guru/Disciple) though causing some difficulty in entering 6D - hence a heavier veil upon the 3D Earth experience. I think its interesting to contemplate the reason for the heavier veil, to facilitate integration of shadow elements - what may be such shadow elements?
It may be that there are conflicting principles at work, those of society's reality and those of some greater reality - where a veil allows greater acceptance of the legitimacy of such limiting constructs. In this way by such acts of acceptance (facilitated by our own involvements) we may be better able to progress upon arrival to 6D.
The word "Galgatha" may relate - is it Hebrew for Skull? Our limited comprehension and finite ability to understand perfectly may relate to likewise coming to terms with unknowns or shadows and so on.
Some say Christ was crucified on the hill of "Galgatha", so the symbolism of the cross (or hypercubus) may relate to such contemplations.

I'd just like to say my original question was a bit more interesting but had the last sentence deleted.
As far as whole events changing. I have seen good evidence of that in the physical. Or perhaps just a strong change in mind after a prayer.
That quantum healer [email for name and method] disclosed something like that as a fundamental healing method - travel back in time by way of visualization to a point where injury occurred, and work to mend what happened in that place. If this seems a bit ambiguous, that may be a good thing because these types of processes seem difficult to define. Since we are built of light, the process of restructuring can occur in ways that seem surprising.
