><tt>if you have successfully expatriated out of the system, have the documentation to prove it in a court of law and know what to say to an agent from the very first moments of contact byany agent, then you stand a chance of not being forced to comply with the law; however, one can be arrested on the spot and held indefinitely if one does not have any state-issued id because of the pretext of "ntnl eemrgncy", which is in full force right now--and has been so since the civil war. the next step is m@rti@l l@w(ml), which is a very easy step to take. all that is needed is a big 'bye-o' '@ttck' or a suitcase noooky and, bammo, ml. at this point, all russians have been banned from travel in the yew ess, including mkhl gr-ba-chop, who canceled long-held plans for any travel in the yew ess in oct and nov. something's up and i am waiting for the shoe to drop.</tt>

><tt>the best defense, imo, to this is to live in a rural area and to be close to local gardens/farms; to have access to water even if the power grid goes down; to connect with other people and get to know them and what things/tools/skills they may have to contribute. the y2k folks who stocked up are now smirking at the rest of the people, no doubt. i learned a lot during my own preparations for y2k and am glad for that.</tt>

><tt>i am busy assisting my household to install solar pumps/panels and related gear to provide us with thousands of gallons of clean ground water daily, which will be essential in growing food in rare open spot of land in our neighborhood. i am also assisting the owner of the land that i live on to form her own corporation sole, plus i'm helping people to expatriate out of the system--quietly.</tt>

><tt>unfortunately, the vast majority of people are very vulnerable to significant disruptions caused by panic buying/hording of food in times of 'ttck' and now the probability of such massive disruptions are far higher than before. stocking up on water is a good idea; ditto for stocking up on seeds. you could get 50-lb bags of organic wheat seeds for less than $15 per bag. you can simply put a cup of seeds in a container of water, let it sit for a day, then eat the softened seeds, plus let them sprout a bit, then eat those as well. one 50-lb bag goes a long way and one can actually thrive on sprouts alone if supermarket food disappears. we still have hundreds of pounds of seeds of all kinds on hand, so were not worried about food for us.
