this is an artistic rendition of the interplanetary magnetic field as
emitted by our sun. it was confirmed from data from the 1984 pioneer
mission. thom pawlicki, in his book 'how to build a flying saucer'
postulated that our solar system was a giant vibrating waveplate,
stimulated by the sun. the high density magnetic waves not only
create the grooves in which the planets ride, but are kept orbiting
due to the spiralling rotation created by interference patterns.
