"Questioner: How were you able to make the transition from Venus? Did you have to change your dimension to walk upon the Earth?

Ra: I am Ra. You will remember the exercise of the wind. The dissolution into nothingness is the dissolution into unity, for there is no nothingness. From the sixth dimension, we are capable of manipulating, by thought, the intelligent infinity present in each particle of light or distorted light so that we were able to clothe ourselves in a replica visible in the third density of our mind/body/spirit complexes in the sixth density. We were allowed this experiment by the Council which guards this planet."

what is this exercise of the wind that ra is referring to here because i don't recall ra talking about it prior to this statement?

peace,
mikey

I think the word "wind" is a trigger word to help one remember.
When I think of wind, I think of breath.

In the exercises of
meditation it is common to hold the breath as the primary
object of focused attention, i.e. the rising and falling of the
abdomen due to the breathing process as in some forms of
Vipassana meditation. Note that Ra mentions "singleness
of thought", which may be pertinent here.

Stretching along this thought stream is the idea that "energy
flows where the mind goes", that from an acutely focused mind
it seems possible to construct interdimensional vehicles that
allow for a sort of energetic travel.

I wonder if some planets share an attraction
with other planets in ways beyond gravity and
magnetism. I wonder if Earth yearns to "do it"
with Venus and if Charon and Pluto are endlessly
teasing each other.

Maybe there's an emotional component,
as that of an immense yearning beyond
any thought - yearning meditation as
some form of astral travel...

Perhaps it's love, as sweet as the gravity...

(note this is my personal view)

Try moving your attention up and down your spine as you breathe. Once you get good at that try the following:

On the up and down breaths picture and up triangle then a down triangle (upside down). Try and get the triangles to meet in the heart center as a 6 pointed star.

When you get good at that, try making the stars 3 diamentional like davids pictures of energy fields (and their inversion).

Be very careful to guard your intention while doing this exercise and make sure your motivation is for the benifit of all beings.

Alternate between this, and just breathing. If you have the right conditions you'll break though into something that could be described as a "nothingness" but the big black void is actually full of your own mind.

"Ra: I am Ra. You will remember the exercise of the wind.

While reading the LoO, I regularly find and contemplate these pithy, mysterious sayings that Ra so judiciously tosses out throughout the material. This resonates with me as a meditation technique in which breathing is used to help focus the mind and raise the consciousness (in some traditions, the kundalini).

It is known as Kriya Yoga in other circles, and is a technique taught by a master to those who are sincere seekers. Paramhansa Yogananda instructed Roy Eugene Davis in it back in the 50's, and Roy regularly initiates seekers at the Center for Spiritual Awareness (CSA) in Georgia or at his meetings across the country. I am sure there are others that can initiate you if you are interested.

I have found it to be very helpful in stilling the mind and accelerating my transition into deeper meditative states.

Just my thoughts.

The particular question that you have referenced comes near the end of a discussion about energy healing. During the discussion while teach/learning about the development of energy healing RA speaks of the balancing of the spiritual complex was the work of "wind and fire". At the end of the discussion RA refers to the teach/learning on energy healing as exercises.

It is MHO that these exercises are tools that can be used to help grasp the learn/teaching. I would compare them to the use of the twenty-one plus one major arcana to understand the trinity of I AM and the potentiation of that trinity.

Hope this helps.
