seriously, this is a forum for everyone to participate through their own
free will. everything that's shown up on the list with my name on it was
written by me. humor does involve some risk-taking, so if i offended anybody
then i'll keep my jokes to myself, as if it's not for the good of the whole
then i guess i'll have to stay academic. clark and i have been "buds" since
i first got on the web, so he can take a little fun-poking.

dw: we did have a cult / group here before that caused some hassle, but i
think we "smoked 'em out of their holes" pretty good - and new members'
posts have to get approved by me. but if we have a "slpr" amongst us, oh
well...

btw: some new members might not realize that there are certain times that i
deliberately misspell words to cut down on the amount of srvlnc that occurs
over this group, its members and my work in general. this has been going on
for 3.5 years now and it gets tiring. i say certain wrds during a call,
click. a lot of people who have gone as far as i do with this research have
had some very significant problems, and thus far i haven't crossed into such
a "threshold."

it appears that the croppie community's only threat thus far has been
hoaxing and ridicule... correct me if i'm wrong here.
