Well, sometimes we hear the same message many times but we only really get it on the umpteenth times. I have heard from many channellings that we are already perfect. I don’t doubt the statement but I just couldn’t comprehend how we are already perfect given the many flaws that I think I have. I think I finally understand the concept today, for some reason. Probably, it takes time for me to “grow” and build on various ideas before I am finally ready to grasp it.
Can you comment on this mighty struggle, that we all are trying to make it toward our expansion?
Well, indeed. You know the struggle is because you have forgotten who you are. The truth is that there is nothing to do. All of you struggle toward this expansion and struggle to try to become more and try to become better because you think you are not enough. And you see, the truth is that you are perfect now. You will never be more perfect than you are at this moment. You are an extension of the mind of Source, expressing itself in this dimensional reality. You are perfect. So what keeps you from that? Well, it is only old beliefs. It is only that little part of you.
And when you realize that you really are more than you think you are-more than the body, more than the mind, more than the emotion-then you can hold that thought to you; then you can allow yourself to be day by day, moment by moment in your creative beingness. You are not required to do anything. There is no one judging you, saying, “Oh well, you have failed at this one,” or “You will never get there because you do this and that.” You are all gods playing this game, and when you can stop the struggle, then you can allow yourself to be so creative. You were meant to have fun in your life and to know more and more about joy.
Who are to say that my flaws are flaws. Only because the collective consciousness has decided so and I am in turn, made to think so.
I can think of another way to illustrate this. For eg. In one culture, Tang Dynasty of China, being fleshy is considered beautiful. Today, many people think that slim is beautiful. It is merely a belief, in this case what constitutes beauty. There are also other cultures such as the Karen tribal group who think that having a long neck is beautiful and they put rings to raise their necks.
We are gods. The countless beliefs that we have, filtrate and influence the thoughts we create and thereby define what we are at this moment. Rather than striving to become what we perceive to be better and more ideal, we should be working on changing our “distorted” beliefs. This reminds me of another quote - “When you change the way you see things, the things you see change.”
And that’s probably how we are going to start creating heaven on earth. Beliefs are here to stay. They create the necessary conditions for us to experience a particular reality for whatever purposes we have for it. That’s why the world is an illusion but yet it is a necessary platform for our experiences to take place, even such as savouring a delicious dish, to quote a positive example.
It is high time for our collective consciousness, i.e. humanity, to start realising that if we don’t like what we have at this point, then change our beliefs and create new ones to build the heaven we want. This is what I believe the great shift is all about. The masses are awakening to the fact that we are creating our reality consciously, rather than leading lives dictated by countless beliefs we don’t like and think that there is nothing we can do about it.
We are perfect now. Nowhere to go. Nothing else to do. Only to change our beliefs.
