Says David in his "Deeper Secret, pt II"
"The Deeper Secret, as I might call it, is that when you find out what your True Purpose is, and dedicate yourself to that Purpose in mind, body and spirit (a decision that must be made with great care and reflection, due to its potential consequences if you renege on the deal later on), the prosperity will flow in kind."
Regarding the bold part I am wondering what kind of "consequences" that David is referring to?
I am just now starting--belatedly, I know--to meditate on a regular basis in an effort to learn to listen to my own Higher Self Maiden, so I'd really like to avoid any serious consequences, should I fall off my path of following my True Purpose that I'm now starting to proceed upon.

I think the essential thing here is being one with your intuition and look for insights in the material as well. As dave said, everytime he would veere off of his path than something would happen to give him signs and he could find it. Insights usually come easily if you look you just have to go with the flow of things. By that I mean be submissive to the greater cause or universal entity. A good method I us is by asking questions and expecting answers with pure or truthful intention and the answers always come and they seem to be correct many times. It is positive also to keep away fear of not doing something right ect. If it creeps in examine it and let it pass over you because it cuts people off from the divine. Hope this is what you were getting at.
...By that I mean be submissive to the greater cause or universal entity...
This seems like a wanderer support thread. The idea of subordinating conscious volitions and desires to whispers of higher guidance brings up questions of freewill. In some sense the lower animal instinctual impulses may detract from one reaching a more awakened state true to some human potential.
Today i considered the mind as a bio-computer which may act as a shared resource between different aspects of myself, i.e. my conscious self which is dealing with the problems of the day and my higher spiritual self which exists unfettered by such trivialities. Okay, in that context I considered my mind such a shared bio-computer which acts as resource for these parts of me.
On one hand my conscious mind doesn't need to be going all the time with a constant flood of ideas, i can live a simple life which allows me to meditate. In my meditations, my conscious flow is completely silent and it may be, I'll conjecture, that it is these times when my mind or bio-computer is used by my higher spiritual self at a frequency much higher than conscious thought.
Of course this thought stream reminded me of the CRAY super-computer, of many computers put together in a unison of uncomparable super power...and it was this, a sort of social memory complex image that came to mind as if it was some greater reality that is simply overlooked in the midst of so much non-meditative distraction that goes on in the world.
Maybe the act of meditation allows the spiritual body chance to run processes which allow such things as grace to flow in life. What do you think, is this a feasible possibility?

Hi Mozart,
I can't speak for David's specific intent, but I have been working diligently on my spiritual path for 15 years now. And I find that as I continue to complete the work necessary to "clear the decks" spiritually and emotionally, I have become more sensitive and aware (more fully conscious...). As as a consequence, what used to bother my conscience a little bit 20 years ago, now is excruciatingly painful if I continue the "activity". So in a nutshell, I can't "go back" to my old ways of living. It just hurts too much. The consequences are too high. I am guessing that's what he meant.
Cheers!
