hi all,
as you have diverted to the six point star i thought you might be interested
in my notes on the subject. i did these a few years back, at that time i was
looking at this symbol just after i had seen the matrix movie. also a book
with the title "twelve tribe nations and the science of enchanting the
landscape by john michell and christine rhone" gave some important insights
into lay-lines and the sacred geometry of jerusalem. this book was
influential with respect to the solomon's temple notes. to my mind this
symbol has major implications for tapping into the world grid, the first
point should make that clear to some. this symbol for me was the beginning
of my search into sacred geometry, myth and sacred knowledge. it to me is a
great symbol that a universal knowledge does exist and all that one need do
is look within. after reading david's work i also looked at the symbol from
a 3d perspective, i.e. the tetrahedron.
cheers,

issues pertaining to the six point star
1. this symbol is also used in tibetan buddhism to represent the heart
chakra.
2. interesting link with solomon?s temple.
3. 2 equilateral triangles interlaced create a six-point star. this symbol
was used as solomon?s seal.
4. if you draw three lines through the center of the hexagon created by this
six point star you get 12 equilateral triangles.
5. you have the symmetry of having six equilateral triangles within the
hexagon as well as outside it.
6. could be considered further enhancing the esoteric philosophy that
constituted the wisdom of king solomon.
7. the center of the star is golgotha. golgotha is a natural rock pinnacle,
a miniature sacred mountain, which in the time of jesus stood just outside
the city walls. the hill of golgotha is the site of jesus crucifixion.
8. definition of hex 1. an evil spell or charm. 2. an evil, dominating
influence over someone or something.
9. solomon?s temple was destroyed by king nebuchadnezzar of babylon in the
sixth century bc. interesting link with the matrix. morpheus?s ship was
called the nebuchadnezzar.
10. morpheus from greek mythology. a minor deity, son of the god of sleep;
the god of dreams.
11. king solomon married a daughter of an egyptian pharaoh.
12. see
http://www.franckgoddio.org/english/projects/backtolight/mission/yoyotte.asp
this site shows the recent discoveries off alexandria in particular the
?naos of the decades?
13. the six-pointed star and the hexagon can be expanded in or out really
easily. you can join the points of the star to enlarge the hexagon. you can
put two equilateral triangles within the hexagon meeting at the points to
make a small star. you can keep going either way.
14. interesting juxtaposition of pagan symbols in the most sacred place for
christians. i.e. hexagon and the number 6
15. see 13 you could not get a better symbol for the potential of the soul,
yet ironically you could just as easily change the figures of the star and
hexagon for light and dark. also need one to build the other.
16. trinity 1. a group of three; triad. 2.the state of being threefold or
triple; threeness. the union of three persons (father, son, and holy ghost)
or (mind, body and soul) in one godhead, or the threefold personality of the
divine being . the basis of the triangle. the original building block for
the equilateral triangle.
17. the star of david can be seen as both the macro and the micro. when
viewed as a fractal paradigm for expanding in and out, it is a great
metaphor for consciousness. this ties in very nicely with the tibetan use of
the symbol.
