before i reply to seth's email:

i hope in my previous post that i did not offend
anyone with my remarks about "united we stand." this
is a tough time for the country, and it's possible
that i wasn't as sensitive to people's feelings as i
should have been. as close as i am to the pentagon,
i've been kinda isolated from the situation since i do
not watch the news or tv at all. so i feel a little
separate from the drama everybody else seems to be
going through. also, i do not agree with the
direction our nation is heading. however, i think i
just needed an opportunity to vent! i'll keep the
politics on the dl as i continue to integrate this
experience as we all are.

well, since you seem to be going through a similar
sort of dilemna as i, it might be just as productive
to examine why you have certain feelings toward the
outer political situation. if that is the most
volatile element within you right now, it probably is
the most needed for integration.

also, lately i have been taking lots of opportunities
to simply *relax* my body and mind. this approaches
but does not neccessarily equal a meditative mindset.
it certainly does not have a metaphysical connotation
to me; it consists simply of letting go of whatever i
am working on or thinking about at the moment, and
letting my body go limp and my mind be "here and now".
just settling down my body and mind periodically has
been a great experience in keeping focused on my
important issues. lately i suspect my relaxations
have been unconscious energy manipulations that i am
trying to explore further, but the neccessary
component, as i said before, is not metaphysical but
completely physical and mental.

yeah, i make long term plans. but plans can fall
through for any number of reasons in everyday life
regardless of their coincidence with a cosmic
cataclysmic event :-) seriously, i have career,
vacation, relationship, and other plans into the next
two years. when stuff goes down, i think i have faith
that i'll be in the right situation to serve as best
as possible.

if your true purpose is getting the nail in the board,
does it really matter if a hammer is used?

the body is simply a tool. i don't mean to talk down
to you, but if you have faith that the scenario we'll
go through is inherently *good*, then quite frankly
what can go wrong?

as for your memories, you *should* keep them i
believe, as well as access memories from past lives.
but don't expect your personality to be the limited
expression you've known on earth. we are all more
than we are simply in 3d.

exactly. and only one person can ultimately make the
decision on where to steer that soul: itself.

the impetus for will rests in none other.

that's cool. after we ascend, party at my place...
:-)

heh heh.

regarding your long-term plans query, when i first joined this group,
i was shocked. and because i live in earthquake country, it had an
added dimension. i figured i had to move! and i was concerned that
making plans was inconsistent with my belief that ascension is near,
but not any longer.

i've learned that it's not the plan, it's the making of the plan that
matters... it's the travel agent on the phone... it's your tickets
arriving late... it's sharing your plans with the neighbor and
letting that lead you into other topics...

you seem to be somewhere close to there, too. my life has slowed
down enough for me to see much of the catalyst happening in my day
(but i'm sure much of it still alludes me). i can see me making
positively or negatively charged choices, down to the ant that is in
my kitchen... do i kill it? or pick it up, bless it, ask it not to
return, and place it safely outside? (they haven't come back!)

i'm reading the ra books for the second time now and am on the third
book. and the lessons i'm learning are different than the first
time. now i find it imperative to keep my personal power and to be
true to myself. i'm like a child learning how to live life all over
again. and it's discussions like these that help keep me on the
path. so thank you, seth.

so, my motto now is to try to use that catalyst that i'm constantly
being bombarded with... and the rest will be done for me.
