thanks for the tip on uri- i'm reading it now. and also for operation
terra. a few comments that i find interesting and i'm open to
anybodys insights- each site has similar channeling but the way the
entities communicate - especially the care ra gave to enviornment,
stating who he/it/them was every time, and the signoffs used
particularly at op terra with the "amen, adonoy sabayoth. we are the
hosts of heaven. we leave you now in peace and honor and blessing and
shall speak with you again." in contrast the "spectra" speaking
through uri is quite blunt with no frills attached. if we are to
think that all these contacts are interrelated and the contactees are
not only aware of each other but might be one in the same, why not
more continuity of method and manner?

on another note-gee dubya b. spoke tonight- what do you think about
his "kids- raise a buck for afganies" idea? will it give some an
opportunity to serve and think of others or just be a propaganda tool?

one aspect of chapter 9 looks at how phyllis's presentation of channeled
information gradually declined. the inferred reason was that this correlated
with the depletion of her energy. from my own experience with rv and
meditation i would have to concur with this finding.

i would like to thank david for providing those links as it helped a lot in
substantiating and clarifying my own experiences.

(ra) either keeps going or stops. also i couldn't find phillis in ch

sorry i might have confused you. at the bottom of uri's page there are three
books i was referring to the second one. whilst on the subject of these
books does any one have a link for the law of one. the one provided on uri's
page does not seem to work. i have read david's work on the law of one but i
would also like to read the original transcript.

1. uri, andrija puharich, doubleday/robson.

2. briefing for the landing on planet earth by stuart holroyd

3. law of one (spirit writings). by mccarty, elkins and rueckert

below are a couple of paragraphs from chapter 9 in the second book that i
was referring too. chapter 9 in this book looks at the consistency and
potential sources of the channeled information. andrija puharich is the
common denominator in the two books. phyllis in this book is the channel
where as in the first book uri was. i must say i found the power and faith
of this group in their quest for peace inspirational:

as i have listened to the recordings of the communications in sequence over
the past months i have been struck by three particular characteristics:
tom's faculty for total and accurate recall of the content of earlier
communications, the factual and conceptual consistency of the communications
as a whole, and a curious decline in the language of the communications with
the passage of time.

this communication is of much later vintage than others in this book, and
the decline in the language will be apparent to every reader. asked to
explain this, tom has said that it is due to a gradual exhaustion of the
channeling faculties of 'the being', and in view of our ignorance of the
mechanisms referred to we either have to accept this or put it down to a
refinement of cunning on phyllis's part. if it were the latter, it would be
a rather supererogatory refinement and one that would be tedious to sustain.

roberto sorry for my slackness. rv stands for remote viewing. the difference
between it and meditation is that the target is blind. this is done to
assist in keeping the conscious mind in the background. if you go back in
the groups archives i have posted some of my sessions there over the last
couple of months. if you can't find them and would like more detail i will
e-mail them to you privately rather than repeating myself to the group.
