View Full Version : My experience with the ra material

Hi everybody,

I have a feeling that I should share this cause I assume a lot of
people are or were in the same situation as I am.
Ahum:
So when I first discovered the ra material it was amazing to see
something that really explained my personal experiences and everything
in this universe, unity, how the positive and negative are integrated
into this unity, how reality is structured etc. During that time I was
very intrested in meditation but for some reason I stopped practicing.
From then on I started to lead what I call now an "intellectual life",
only thinking, reading books, talking to others, trying to be of
service through talking and sharing insights, allways putting myself
in a positive mood etc. The only form of meditation was recalling
dreams and doing dream work everyday.

But when I read the ra material now, the most important thing in my
view is to see unity in all things, and heal the self through
disciplined meditation so we can be of service to others on a balanced
way.
Now, I wonder how many wanderers inhere like me are leading an
intellectual life and not practicing a form of disciplined meditation
or healing? I experienced first hand that this can blow up into the
face bigtime. Cause eventually I subconsciously constructed all these
mental concepts where I felt safe till it was shattered to pieces by
some big catalyst after a few years. Then I realised how depended,
attatched I was to words, mental concepts and books and thoughts
instead of truly experiencing the truth inside.
The ra material was not a guidance anymore it was doctrine and I think
that is really the last thing they want it to be.

It really took time for me to realise that only working through the
intellect trying to understand infinity intellectually etc is not the
answer to my problems and can turn in a way of non acceptance and
surpression of certain feelings and parts of myself.
So basicly what I'm trying to say to my fellow wanderers, this is my
experience, if you recognize yourself in it, think about it, it can
save you a lot of suffering in the future.
Eventually the only person who can heal the self and free ourselves is
ourself. :) but the healing is necesarry, I was arrogant enough to
believe I was totally healed already without ever doing some serious
healing. Ofcourse this is all part of the lessons that need to be learned.

Namaste,
Filip

Hello Filip,

Having only recently discovered the Ra material and this associated
online community I am grateful to you for your overview of how we
take this material into our lives. I have studied metaphysics for
thirty years and made the same discovery as yourself over and over
again through the years. The point is not in the intellectual
understanding of the various material, the point for me is in
bringing the information into my heart and practicing it rather than
preaching it.

When I hear myself preaching I've learned that often its' because
I'm trying to instill the message in myself, using someone other as
a mirror. I've also learned that preaching is a lot like giving
unwanted, asked for advice...something I personally don't find
workable.

I'm grateful that this material has come into my life at this time.
While I haven't had time to seriously study the material I resonate
and match the description of "messenger". I too have been a slouch
about practicing the very meditative exercises that I would
recommend to another.

Today...instead of focusing on being a Divinely inspired human I'm
enjoying being humanly inspired Divinity.

Sending tons of love, heaps of peace, and oodles of laughter,
Anne

Filip~

I do agree with you Filip, that the RA Material can be developed
into doctrine in ones mind. I've read copious amounts of books, have
discussed concepts and philosophies til it was coming out of my
ears. Until one day I woke up and realized it wasn't bringing me to
my true being, it was just words, and not felt within my core being.

Someone made the comment last week in here, in regards to subjective
reality and objective reality, hit me like a ton of bricks, it was
so simple yet so profound. I was out in my garden later in the day,
and began to observe this. Rather than it being a tree, as an
object, what was the tree to me? How did that tree effect me and
what did I percieve of it. I continued on through my day doing this
with each and every situation that occured. I realised that THIS is
what I've been trying to express verbally for so long.(Thank you so
much for whoever posted it)

There is no definitive list of how to become enlightened. It is a
personal journey within. A journey in to ones true being and there
is a multitude of ways this is possible. I always would ask the JW's
that came to my door, "What about the people who never heard of
Jehovah? They all just loose out? I think that applys to RA Material
and all the other sources. What about the millions who never read or
heard about RA? They all just loose out? I seriously doubt it. I
believe RA has given some awesome guidance. I don't know if I
am "harvestable" or not. But I do know I began a journey and don't
want to stop ~ ever!!

I am also happy to be on the path and making steady progress, regardless how
far along I am compared to others or how fast I am able to progress. I am
experiencing rewards in my relations with people and a growing appreciation of
the Earth and my fellow creatures. I become open to love that is freely given
me and that is far more enjoyable than anything I could make others give me (in
the past).

I recently began a study of the philosophy and theology of Plato, and like
the RA material (which I just discovered) these writings express exactly what I
have figured out so far (plus more).

Agape,
Don Eli

(Joe) Hi Eli. I just want to add that no soul or entity or whatever
you choose to call it, is ever "sent" anywhere in terms of densities
against it's/your will. The density you find yourself in is always
your choice totally. When the time for moving on comes -- it will
be YOU, not some other higher entity that will determine if you
reincarnate in 3rd or 4th or 5th or whatevere density that YOU feel
most comfortable in.

Peace,

Joe

Hi Eli
Please let's use some common sense here. If you are a member of this group
then you are definitely 'harvestable' since most people on this planet have no
clue what the ascension is or for that matter what 'harvestable' is, so you seem
to know both what ascension & harvestable is, so you can go and tell others and
do a great service, thanks.

The correct quote is:

'Beauty is truth, truth beauty,?that is all
Ye know on earth, and all ye need to know.'

A subtle difference, still it's important--the way Keats wrote it.

Otherwise--apropos quote.
