View Full Version : Alchemy

So I was checking out these Taco Bell Kid Meal cards,
and I looked at angle at them so the ellipse was like
a circle. And this reminded me of the "All Seeing
Eye"
(it lies within) which was in the "Tomb Raider" movie.

So this reminded me of "The Lord of The Rings" movie,
which also has some sort of "All Seeing Eye". Yea, I
snuck off one night to sneak a peak of it.

The scene that actually "hurt" me like a sharp pain
in the head, was an intoxicating elvin princess scene
where there I was in this comfortable dreamy space,
then suddenly she's outbursting: her eyes poppin' out
and loud satanic sounding howl!

Now I remember Rod Johnson was an alchemist and I
was wondering if that type of scene could be
classified as alchemy.

Anybody else feel that pain?

Pat

You know, there is alot of stuff out there about the "Eye". It goes from the Eye
of Horus with all of it's myths and even farther back when it represents the
"vesica picis", which is the intersection that two equal circles make half-way
with each other. It signifies perfection and union, amongst other things. Hmm,
that you are seeing it may signify you are understanding yourself better. Just
remember to be kind to yourself:) We are always so hard on ourselves. I know,
I'm one of those also. Take care Chris

Hi Chris,

This "Eye" thing is a disclosure of some sort.
I don't think I have an "Eye" like this, I'm
not psychic or SRV or telekinetic or any of that.
I would just say that I feel deeply, intuitively.
Here, I'm observing pop culture and trying to figure
it out. I think there was some subliminal message
delivered in that elf goddess scene.

The pain I felt, I think has to do with some
inertial quality to these quasi-meditative states
that I fall into. If I jerk during "full speed",
then it feels like somone "snaped" a rubber band on
my brain. When driving, I have to relax this
ressonance to turn my head or turn the car.
I think the movie distracted my from realizing
that I had jerked due to the scare.

In December, I suffered too many "snaps" and became
sore and imbalanced. Now, I'm kinked chin left,
this is especially apparent during ressonance,
probably some injury due to my innate imbalance.

I don't do drugs. In college I was an alcoholic,
now alcohol makes me ill. Maybe this pickled my brain.
I don't have migrains. The retinal migrain freaked me
out, I thought I detached a retina. The first appt.
was the next day. I verified the bill, 3-9-01.
Curiously, the experience happened on David's b-day,
the day before. I just figured this out today.
Most of the time my mind is a clean clear slate of
silence. Writing helps me purge, to maintain this
silence, and it helps lift my heartache.

Maybe someone else in the group has the similar
symptoms, don't feel alone: misery loves company.

It was nice to feel this love you sent me.
Thank you, Chris.

Pat

Your mental pain stems from your need to purge something that happened to you in
the past-I went thru that also. You need to bring that to the fore and get rid
of whatever it is. As far as the actual physical pain goes, it may or may not be
tied to your mental anguish, so, I would recommend a complete physical, if you
haven't already done it. Take care of yourself, Pat. Only you can fix this, you
know. We all care here, so use that for support and fight whatever you're
battling right now. Take care Chris

Chris,
You're right, I need to purge this stinking rotten
monetary system that is cursing our planet.
I feel like I'm one of the few willing to try,
i.e. set the avalanche in motion.
The soul work to do this is not easy.
May God's will be done.
Pat

I am interested into how that relates to alchemy (have no understanding
here) that scene...

i did feel a sort of pain there, Pat.

Thanks Tiffani!
Woo-hoo, I'm not the only one!
Yea, I don't know anything about alchemy either.
Rod said he was an Alchemist.
I can't wait for him to wake up
and spill some beans on this.
Oh, but maybe this is a dangerous secret.

Rod Johnson

Tiffani and Pat,

I finally found this message in a late night catch-up session. Alchemy as an
ancient practice implies that common metals can be transmuted into precious
metals. It also applied to magic elixirs that would restore youth. Because
it was seen as a secretive and weird mixing of chemicals and potions it fell
into the category of witchery.

However, From this greed and rejuvenation effort the earliest understood
principles of chemistry were established. Isaac Newton saw the scientific
potential in Alchemical science and was rewarded for his interests by being
removed from his auspicious post at Cambridge University for heretical
practices.

After those renaissance times Alchemists became he earliest formal chemists.
All the mysticisms and magic around alchemy as a metaphysical art became
bugaboo. The general definition of Alchemy became applied to spiritual or
physical transformations, unexplainable changes in physical substance or
behavior.

If you compared the advanced insights of Alchemy with general chemical
knowledge of its times Alchemist were far ahead of the institutions of
science. It took a century for formal science to acquire the body of
Alchemical knowledge.

In that sense You could see me as an Alphysicist which applies also to
Chemistry. At the deepest chemical levels of molecules are pure physical
principles and they are not interactions of atomic particles. I am more or
less a quarter of a century ahead of quantum science in understanding the
subtle physicality. With the help my work gets from people like David it
will not take formal science a century to catch up. In fact they are almost
there.

As we have discovered in our experiences with practices in consciousness,
the deepest levels of physical reality relate to the deepest realms of the
mind. My science principles also unravel some mysteries of mind. From what
you described below I would say that a critical emotional experience
registered itself in the Alchemy of your mind. Remember that by definition
the word Alchemy relates to metaphysical changes.

Stay sensitive and vulnerable,

Rod

You're a real live Harry Potter.

So good, we can blame everything
on this movie doing alchemy to us.
Gratefully,

Belated thank you, Chris, for timeless words.
I was watching that movie "Dude, Where's My Car"
and the mysterious and powerful "Continuum Transfunctioner,"
which transforms from this Rubik's Cube within sounds
of evanescent tones (...the mystery is only exceeded by
it's power...) and it turns into this spherical object with
all sorts of light rays coming out. Well, at one point,
it splits into two hemispheres with a really bright light
in the center...and well, this just reminded me of a 3D
analogy of this "Vesica Pisces" and from that it seems
the "Continuum Transfunctioner" is an "Activated Brain"
I haven't figured out the "accelerated photon annihilation
beam"...can someone illuminate that metaphor? Curiously, Pat

DW: Come on, it's a comedy movie, not a holy scripture! Nevertheless, it is
interesting that even in a silly movie, the Higher Selves of those working
on it can sneak in certain relevant metaphors. This goes on without much
conscious awareness most times. The "transfunctioner" is also an excellent
depiction of the energetic structure in the Universe at all levels of size,
and the interpenetration of geometry (cube in this case) with the sphere. I
think you've milked this one about as far as you can, as a laser beam has
'accelerated photons,' so nothing much there.

Peace be with you -

About stupid movies, well, not stupid, but seemingly uneducational
movies, that's a great idea to stick educational information in it so
no one will notice, but will watch and hopefully pick up.

Thanks for your interest, David.
I was going to mention this earlier
but forgot, and that was your handy
dandy "dream checklist" really sheds
insight on these metaphors...for
example, the intense blue light coming
out of that thing - that annihilation
beam, like really well focused light,
not diffuse by any means.
