hey everyone,
i recently downloaded a vedic astrology program and used it to
generate a chart report for myself. i didn't understand most of
what it said, but one of the things there was that it somehow
was supposedly able to determine which of the hindu castes the
subject of the report would hypothetically be a member of. in
my case, the kshatriyas caste was mentioned.

i looked up the term on wikipedia, and initially thought that at
least that element of the program must be bogus, because
according to wikipedia, the kshatriyas were/are apparently the
martial/warrior sect of societies where that caste system is
held. this is something that david and i have actually talked
about here before, as david has mentioned potentially becoming a
4d guardian, and i can remember stating or at least feeling that
my own inclinations were entirely the opposite to some of what
he mentioned regarding that subject...given primarily that i am
completely passive offline, to the point where there isn't even
really an offline life for me at all...i don't work, and spend
pretty much all my time on the net.

anywayz, a month or so ago i initially started playing a
particularly popular online roleplaying game, world of warcraft.
there is a scenario within the game where players can attack
each other, but also situations where veteran players are
able/do attack areas where new players initially begin and start
developing a character. given the amount of upset i experienced
when my own character was killed repeatedly in that scenario, i
eventually joined a particular group within the game...and the
odd thing is, i realised just last night that the job which the
group leader immediately tasked me with (when my own character
became sufficiently advanced, which it isn't yet) was to help
protect low level training areas, because of how angry i'd
become about raids occuring in these areas.

i realise it's entirely vicarious, and part of me feels somewhat
stupid for mentioning it, (i.e., it's only a game, and bears no
relation to what i do offline in the "real world" at all) but i
thought it was interesting that something which i'd felt so sure
was completely innacurate about myself was apparently validated
(in at least a vicarious sense) almost without me consciously
realising it.
